1. Your character's name in The Cerilian Census:  Jannis "Jani" the Red 2. Your Discord ID including the number:  gh0stw1nd#2241 3. A short summary of your character's backstory (1 paragraph or less): A fisherman from the city of Kiedel, in the Rohrmarch, who was forced to flee the city after his family turned on hard times.  He worked aboard a trading vessel until he was eventually recruited by a priest of Avani to join their Paladin order.  Though he excelled in his lessons, he never got the calling from the god, nor ever manifested the gifts typically bestowed upon Avani's faithful.  Leaving the order, Jannis sought out the Cohort Arcanum as a way of seeking his fortune, freeing his indentured sister, and extracting vengeance upon the man who wronged his family.
The Kallanon here decrees that Jannis "Jani" the Red upon the completion of his training is officially accepted into the halls of The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate. May The Fate Weaver watch over your journeys, and her harp sound the songs of your victories! OOC: Please make sure to update the picture on your character sheet with a proper token. As detailed here . If you need any help let me know.
1. Diesa Gemfire 2. Zilarrezko#2065 3. A Dwerren raised in the dwarf quarter of Daugren in the Brecht Realm of Grevesmühl. Her family are part of a clan outpost from the Kingdom of Daikar-Zhigun who have been working to secure better terms of trade between the two realms. She is a skilled artisan as is expected of her people but is possessed of a greater degree of wanderlust, preferring to rove with the Dwerren merchant caravans than labour endlessly over the forge. On one such outing her caravan was overrun by Vos raiders, her twin brother was killed but she was able to escape to Mjollinar and rally the people there to a successful counter attack. A deed which earner her some local renown and an invitation to join the Cohort Arcanum.
Hear ye, hear ye! The Kallanon has declared that Diesa Gemfire has been accepted into the ranks of The Cohort Arcanum. She has been granted the title of Junior Associate! May The Fate Weaver guide her way!
1 Braylen Bragenson 2 Gatebuster202#3236 3 A wandering priest of Moradin, Braylen is a Dwerren coming from the Kingdom of Khurin-Azur, and the fifth minor family in the Circle of Brewers. Looking for more interesting brews to record for his people and the Forge of Moradin, Braylen fancies himself a wandering learner and historian, while avoiding the responsibilities of his clan and king for the time being. Braylen saw the Cohort as a perfect place to gather coinage and see more of Cerilia.
1) Darvius Alandre 2) Darvius#9049 3)  Born in the  mist-wreathed vales in the darkest heart of the ancient Cerilian forests Darvius spent the first century of his life his youth, as most elves doing most of nothing by human standards. He studied the flute and wandered the woods enjoying his days relaxing and enjoying his youth. As he neared adulthood at 100 years old he decided it was time to choose his path he apprenticed to a master of the esoteric ways of the woods, a monk who trained in woodcraft and martial skills. He soon discovered he had a desire to improve himself in ways he had never considered. Having learned the rudimentary skills of his master's art he set out for the human lands. There he found the Cohort Arcanum and signed up to test himself and improve his fledgling skills through adventure and trial.
OOC: @Darvius/Samurai Can I ask which one of these accounts is going to be the one you are using for this game? Not sure if something happened. Let me know, and I'll get your application taken care of. EDIT:  Looks like it was a troll processing you now. Let it be known that Braylen Bragenson is officially a Junior Associate of The Cohort Arcanum! May his adventures be merry, and filled with success!
The Kallanon has personally interview Darvius Alandre, and decided that he has great potential as a member of The Cohort Arcanum. From this day forth he is welcomed into the halls of the cohort with the title of Junior Associate. May The Fate Weaver sing of your tales! OOC: Darvius it looks like you're  all set, but I can see you don't have any of your starting gold. I also see you haven't updated your languages to match the setting. Other than that everything is all set!
1. Teresa Eirwen 2. Serephen#7256 3. Medi Eirwen was a young farmgirl from a steading in Alamsreft that always adored her older sister Teresa, who was recruited by the Cohort years ago and became a great hero. After learning that her sister had mysteriously disappeared Medi, in a state of both panicked confusion and unfounded bravery took up some of her sister's old gear and a book of stories and adventuring tips and set out to aid people under the name Teresa Eirwen. She hopes to keep the image of the great heroine alive for the sake of the common folk who looked up to her, while attempting to track down clues to locate her missing sibling.
Teresa Eirwen has had a discussion with The Kallanon and has officially been approved as a Junior Associate of The Cohort Arcanum! May The Fate Weaver watch over her in times of need.
1. Elias Northcrow (Raven) 2. Ydars#6233 3. Elias Northcrow is one of the last of a hereditary band of King's Pathfinders, who once protected the roads of Anuire from evil. Since the fall of the Empire, the Pathfinders have fallen into low state and are now little more than ragged men who wander the roads, earning a crust by hunting and from delivering messages and letters. Many now revile them as mere 'waysiders' and few love or remember their ancient nobility. Pathfinders are now found far beyond old Anuire and Elias recently came to the Cohort to deliver a message and has joined, though his reasons are his own.
It has been decided that Elias Northcrow, also known as Raven has been accepted into The Hall of The Cohort Arcanum. He has been granted the titled of Junior Associate. May the supple strings of The Fate Weaver play a wondrous melody for your future endeavors!
1. Ayoda "Ayoval" Partum 2. SlothSlow#1527 3. Ayoda is a spindly somewhat above average height scholarly looking man, he wears his deep brown hair pulled back and can usually be seen wearing blue and white robes that look somewhat a mixture between a priest and scholar which are strangely held together by pins and rings made of lead. Also accenting his wardrobe he carries a set of masks and bells that make no sound. Ayoda does not speak much of home but for those who do pry he will mention he is from a small sect of Avani worshipers that follow the teachings of Hera, a priestess who was a harbinger of souls looking to find their way to Avani. Aside from her teachings not much is known of the priestess and Ayoval wishes to return home with her truth in hand.
The Kallanon officially welcomes Ayoda 'Ayoval' Partum into The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate! May The Fate Weaver pull him into her web! OOC: Please make sure to update your square token with a round one.
1. Your character's name in The Cerilian Census:  Roland 2. Your Discord ID including the number:  gh0stw1nd#2241 3. A short summary of your character's backstory (1 paragraph or less): An orphan imprisoned his entire life at a temple by the Winter Witches in the Cooling Bay, grew up under strict scrutiny, the subject of a prophecy of great evil.  Almost two decades passed before he was able to escape, making his way south to Muden.  There, he was caught by a member of the Cohort Arcanum while stealing purses in the market.  Seeing potential in him, his captor brought him to the Halls for training.  A wide-eyed boy out of his element, Roland eagerly looks forward to exploring a world that to date has been denied to him.
Kalder's recommendation has been accepted, and Roland has officially been accepted into The Cohort Arcanum by The Kallanon! He has been granted the rank of Junior Associate. The Fate Weaver sits in anticipation of his future deeds!
1. Prudence 2. Casiope#4834 3. Prudence and her twin sister Agatha were different from birth. Their ashen skin made them stand out straight away, their parents had hopes it was nothing more than a quirk they would grow out of. But when their horns started to grow their parents decided raising two awnshegh were not their responsibility. They tried to lead them in the woods and leave them to nature when one of the tribe's druidic leaders intervened, and quietly took them in to raise as his own. While her sister had innate magical talents Prudence had to learn to channel the magic of the nature around them.
1. Agatha 2. Summer#2590 3. After being abandoned by her parents together with her sister, Prudence, she felt nothing but shame for her magic, as she was sure that was the reason that they were given up. While they were growing up together with the druid who took them in she made sure to do anything her sister asked of her, to make up for what she had done to them.
The Kallanon officially welcomes Prudence to The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate! Remember that all members of The Cohort are your family! While we all should look out for the evil influence of Azrai that is no excuse for discrimination. Please treat Junior Associate Prudence as you would any other member of The Arcanum, and may The Fate Weaver watch over you all!
We welcome Agatha, twin sister of Prudence into The Cohort Arcanum as a fellow Junior Associate. As with her sister please treat her as one of your own, and with the respect she deserves. Welcome Agatha, and may The Fate Weaver play you a melody as sweet as time itself!
1. Tarkus Creed 2. Thai#5514 3."There's were a love to last the ages, He was a Elf of high standing "she" was a stranger of unnatural charm and beauty. They fell to the floor and .... a wonderful night by "Her" account"  Tarkus has lived on the road all his life with his "mother" Leanan Sídhe, grown tired of a life of study and unrtusting looks from others, he sets out on his own to put what he has learnt to "good" use.
Tarkus Creed! The Kallanon welcomes you into The Halls of The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate of the order! Welcome, and may The Fate Weaver watch over you kindly!
Lilliana Tyrisa has been granted the title of Junior Associate, and welcomed into The Cohort Arcanum! The Fate Weaver guides her dance! OOC: Had a submission messaged to me privately
1. Thariun 2. Kyle#3462 3. Thariun worked as a low level guard for merchant caravans in the Brecht Seelundkaufen, but once he saved enough to afford some proper adventuring gear he has left to find his own fortune.

OOC: @Kyle H. What you posted looks good, but I need to review the finished character sheet before final approval. It looks like your character is still part way through the charactermancer at the moment. Once you finish up let me know, and I'll give the final rubber stamp.
The Kallanon has decided that Thariun is to be accepted into The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate. The Fate Weaver has pulled his strings, and bought him to our halls! May she continue to do so in the future!
1. Your character's name in The Cerilian Census: Aerdyn Voss 2. Your Discord ID including the number: Ogmund#5425 3. A short summary of your character's backstory (1 paragraph or less): The son of a disgraced minor noble, Aerdyn spent his youth in the tutelage of a knight of  Cuiraécen, learning the precepts of his God and the martial art of swordfighting.  With a burning desire to strike out and serve the people of Cerilia (with the hope of regaining the honor of his family), Aerdyn joined the Cohort Arcanum, believing it to be the fastest way to begin.
Welcome Aerdyn Voss into the halls of The Cohort Arcanum. The council has decided that he is a man worthy to join our ranks as a Junior Associate. Praise be to The Fate Weaver!
1. Mamm Bealdaartsdotter 2. Seraphina Leaf#9404 3. Mamm spent her early adult years serving as a soldier in the Svinik Infantry, until an incident with a dice set and a superior officer put a stop to that vocation. With no army to fight in, Mamm realised what she wanted most was to have a family. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, that never happened. Giving up her hopes of settling with a family, she seeks battle and comradery once more. Which she has heard The Cohort Arcanum may provide.
1. Korak Flomhelm 2. SlothSlow#1527 3. For those who know Dwerren Korak would seem to be an oddity, He holds a mark of the Azrai which makes his hair and eyes red as cinder. Even stranger his completion is rosy and a heat irradiates from him, seemingly unnatural for his kind. Naturally his peers ridiculed him for his looks and was considered an outcast even going as far as making him change his clan name to Flomhelm. Looking for an outlet Korak became a faithful to Moradin when a priest accepted him and revered him for having the heart of a forge. Dutiful training has made Korak into an exemplary priest and readied him for when a group of fierce Orogs from the Spiderfell attacked his home. Feats during this day caused ridicule to turn to admiration. Korak hopes to cut off the bands of Orog from his home, hearing the Arcanum has those who may be willing to venture into this forsaken place he takes up their banner and continues his training.
Orithar Trisk Christian Rosewater#8125 A child born from the horrors of war, Orithar often perceived things differently to most. Seeing a glimpse of what could be, before he had any real right too. Playful glimpses, unimportant glimpses. He kept to positons of advisory and liaison within the tribe, beating down any who he glimpsed scheming to take his place. Until one session into the unforeseen changed drastically in tone. The glimpse was long and showed the very end of the whole Orog race. Countless bodies, torn and bleeding over fields spanning miles. Forced to walk, though what felt like Orog swamps. This “glimpse” spanned 7 days. Upon waking he left his tribe seeking knowledge and a way of prevented what he saw to come. Where better to start researching than inside The Cohort Arcanum.
On this day The Kallanon welcomes Mamm Bealdaartsdotter, Korak Flomhelm, and Orithar Trisk into The Cohort Arcanum as Junior Associates. May The Fate Weaver play them a melody as sweet as their future victories! OOC: @Hats4Cats can you make sure to update your picture with a proper token? Here's a link to the wiki .
Drago Youf Drago the up and coming Alchemist who travels forward in search of knowledge and the rarest materials. Following the flow of music and sounds of life. Offering  his expertise in music and alchemy to anyone who needs it. Although Young, he is considered a prodigy, a rising star and had an invitation personally offered  to him by  The Cohort Arcanum. Hoping to learn new techniques and spread the joy of his craft.
The Kallanon gracefully accepts Raspell Lemic into the halls of The Cohort Arcanum as a Junior Associate. May The Fate Weaver lend him eight eyes!
1. Conor Layton [Nicknamed Hunter] 2. linkshadowelf#4956 3. Born to a family of outcasts, his early years were filled with "training" for basic survival. When he was about 14 and a half, he learned that his grandfather was caught in a dramatic love triangle with a noble family; which had sentenced his family to living outside of regular society. Though this restriction would be lifted to any children of children his grandfather had. Rejoining society at 18, he was quickly engaged in the shady sides of things. His work was that of an assassin. He would purposely only take "lower" or "lesser" targets so he wouldn't be noticed. The day he was noticed, he managed to frame a rival assassin. This rival now rots in a cell while he joined the Cohort Arcanum which provided him a cover. It was actually within the arcanum that he learned his magical aptitude. As he studied with druids, he learned simple magic. Now, he sets out to "redeem" his past "hunts". OOC: I have yet to decide upon a picture, but I will update with the token accordingly - assuming acceptance. Also, planning on taking Eldritch Knight down the road.
The council of The Cohort Arcanum has deemed Conor Layton worthy of joining their ranks as a Junior Associate. May The Fate Weaver play his tune! OOC: 1.) Thanks for letting me know about eldritch knight. We'll get something working for you! 2.) Don't forget to add your character's age. 3.) I'm gonna go ahead, and approve your character, but I am also going to ask you to please go back and tone down your backstory slightly. All characters in Cerilia start out as ordinary people who are just getting started in their lives as adventurers. To put things in perspective an assassin in 5e is listed as CR8! That isn't to say your character can't have killed someone for money, but having a character who is an established assassin, had his enemies arrested, studied with druids, has ties to noble families, etc. is pushing the envelop a little too far for a 1st level character. If you have any questions, or want to talk always feel free to message me on Discord.
Siegfried Morton The years have been good to old Siegfried. He spent most of his working life on ships, carrying cargo and helping in the general day-to-day maintenance work. Living on the waves more than solid ground, Siegfried enjoyed his youth seeing the world, as he got older he never settled down. He stayed active on the ships but after a while he was slowing, the only reason captains kept him on staff for as long as they did was for his stories. For hours he could talk about the sights he saw food tasted and women he personal entertained.   You do not spend most your life at sea without having a few narrow escapes with death and Siegfried has had his share. Each one added to his belief in Nesirie. As age caught up, he ended up working for a church near shore; his stories alone doubled their attendance.   There is no honour is waiting for death to come. The church, seeing Siegfried’s ability to spread a message, gave him an honouree title with Nesirie and sent him off on one last journey to spread the word of  Nesirie far and wide.  The first port of call, The Cohort Arcanum.
1. Hedrin 2. SlothSlow#1527 3. Hedrin a young child of Dwerren decent, about 10 years old, one day approached the Arcanum looking for healing. He only carried on him some tattered scale mail, a shackle, and a handaxe, to this day he will not part with these items and will not say where they came from. His physical state and slenderness would be worrying for any race but even more so for the usually plump Dwerren. He normally has a cough among other symptoms that never seem to go away, weeks after studying the child it was found by a ranking wizard that his body was fighting his innate magic causing him to have symptoms of a fever and lack of an ability to keep food down. Even stranger he carries the Aura of Masela a feint light around him the color of a stormy sea, wisps of black ripple through and most feel uneasy looking at it for too long. The Wizard Exaban of the Arcanum took pity on the child and over the course of four years drilled him in the arts of the arcane, over time he has come to control some of his magic but still is sickened by it, the nature of his abilities can be dangerous and Exaban thought it wise not to push so hard within the confines of the Arcanum due to what his nature does to spells learned. Now that he is 14 and has become a young man Exaban pushes him to become a full fledged member of the Arcanum.
The Cohort Arcanum welcomes all both young and old! The Kallanon has decided on this day to admit both Siegfried Morton, and Hedrin as Junior Associates of The Cohort! May The Fate Weaver watch over them both. No matter how long or short the thread they have left may be!
1. Robert "Rob Boss" Bossouri 2. Depraved Lunatic#1834 3. Rob led a very sheltered life in Brecht as a priest in a church of Nesirie, or how they call them in Brecht, Neira. He is pious and devoted to the cause of his goddess and thought that the other priests were the same. But the older he grew, the more aware he became of the corruption of the church officials of his local temple. Greed and money had consumed them, which disgusted Rob to a point where he left the temple as an armored healer, to gain the power and influence to right the wrongs of the church officials, which leads him to the Cohort Arcanum...
1. Takumir 2. Depraved Lunatic#1834 3. Takumir was the son of a farmer in a barely notable village, it's name lost in time. While going out to gather berries and saplings that his father could plant in his free time, he returned to a gigantic pyre that engulfed his former home. His father, cradling his crying sister in his arms as he crawls towards Takumir, only to pass away when the fires engulfed him. Takumir was too shocked to move or speak, until a band of mercenaries found and picked him up. After all, who could leave an orphaned child alone in the woods. They were planning to leave him with an orphanage, but were impressed with his natural talent for polearms. So they groomed him to become a mercenary fitting of the group, until death does them part on a mission on a snowy passage. An Avalanche took the band with it, Takumir only remaining alive due to clinging onto whatever he could cling to as hard as he could. Ever since, he's been on the look for another pasttime to earn money, which has brought him to the doorstep of the Cohort Arcanum...
The Kallanon officially accepts both Robert Bossouri, and Takumir into the halls of The Cohort Arcanum. May The Fate Weaver show you the way through her webs. OOC: Don't forget to make sure all your languages match up with Cerilia. You can find the page on languages here .
1. Ingund 2. Serephen#7256 3. Born to a Rjurik raider tribe, Ingund longed for the day she would come of age and get to join in on the pillaging. On that day however, the fleet was torn apart by a suspiciously deadly storm. Not knowing if anyone else had survived Ingund travelled the lands for years on her own after washing ashore, taking in the wonder and magic of the world around her now that she wasn't simply training to fight or watching the others pillage fishing settlements. Eventually she found the Cohort and opted to sign up. Partly to see more of the world and the mysteries it had to offer, and partly because in all her time travelling the lands she found the urge to get in on the thrill of combat and looting creeping up on her once again.
The Kallanon welcomes Ingund into the halls of The Cohort Arcanum. May The Fate Weaver pluck the strings of her web, and play her a tune that will be remembered for all of time.
1. Lambert Sulverin 2. Zilarrezko#2065 3. As a small child Lambert survived a shipwreck off the coast of Starkholdt in Danigau and was taken in at a local monastery dedicated to Ruornil, god of the Moon. His parents weren't among the other survivors and no other relative arrived to claim him and so he was raised by the monks and grew up into a member of the clergy. For over thirty years he has enjoyed a simple life of contemplation, comradery, reflection and study as Ruornil is also a god of knowledge. Recently this peaceful life was disturbed by ominous portents - during a stormy night he and all the other monks' dreams were filled with the imagery of twin crimson moons and in the morning they found that the statue of Ruornil had cracked. Surely a sign from their god that there was something afoot in the world, Lambert volunteered to discover what this was or would be. And where better to do that among the famed Cohort Arcanum.
By proclamation of The Council of The Cohort Arcanum the man known as Lambert Sulverin has been accepted into our ranks as a Junior Associate. Once a child of The Fate Weaver, always a child of The Fate Weaver!
1. Shango Bayu 2. Depraved Lunatic#2065 3. Shango was a former martial arts prodigy, that lived at a temple formerly dedicated to Brenna, that now was used as a training dorm for monks similar to him. He was in fact so full of potential, that even the eldest monk took an interest in him and taught him personally, a boon not even the most knowledgeable monks of the temple weren't blessed with. This was also the start of Shango's fall in popularity among the temple attendee's, to a point where he was practically exiled from there, due to him fearing for his life at that point. Having nowhere to go with his blade and talents, he wandered the lands of Cerilia, until he heard of the Cohort Arcanum. Well, what better place to provide a trained blade for than that? Edit: Rephrased some parts to make Shango sound more like a first level character.
The Kallanon welcomes Shango Bayu to The Cohort Arcanum! May The Fate Weaver watch over him kindly! OOC: Just a couple of things: 1.) Unarmoured defense for a monks is 10 + Dex + Wis. You have it listed as 12 + Con + Dex. I think you are getting the 12 from defensive duelist, but that is not what that feat does. The feat lets you use your reaction against a melee attack that hits you to add your proficiency bonus to your ac against only that attack. You can choose it after the attack is rolled, but only once per turn, and only against melee attacks. It's not just a blanket bonus to your AC. 2.) Your backstory is mostly alright, but it's pushing the spirit of the game a little bit. it's fine to play a character who is up and coming prodigy, but the way you have it written makes it sound like your character is extremely skilled with the blade already. Considering your character is level 1 that doesn't really fit very well. I'm not sure it was intended to come off this way however, so just putting a gentle reminder here that level 1 character are novices just getting started.
1. Lolgon Shoulgen 2. SlothSlow#1527 3. Growing up near the Coulladaraight, in the Nob Heath to be exact, Lolgon lost his parents to goblins and soon was adopted into priesthood. Hearing stories of the heroes and adventurers he set off to make a story of his own, becoming a track finder in the forest, leaving to the desert and hunting rare game, and lastly becoming a captain of a ship. Recently his ship was overtaken by bandits and went into a deep depression. Heroes from the Arcanum rekindled his affair with adventure and now sets off for the ultimate adventure attempting to join them and go out into the world. Those may know Lolgon over his adventures as:  Wildwalker  The Wayfinder Ol Whipshot  Sandstrider  Guppy  Captain Shoulgen Deadeyes
1. Drake Darkwood 2. linkshadowelf#4956 3. He does not remember his childhood much, simply being part of an orphaned group of kids who stole food. Drake eventually stole from the wrong shop and was chased throughout Brechlen. Eventually, night fell, and he was found in a back-alley of an alchemist shop by a woman in black feathery robes. She asked him if he wanted a safe place to hide. Without thinking twice, he agreed. She told him she had a challenge for him, and if survived, he could keep anything he found along the way. Blinking, Drake found himself in the plane of shadow. woman appeared behind him saying, "Survive," before vanishing into a cloud of ravens. Spending the next 15 years in the plane of shadow, he had forgotten what the sunlight felt like. He managed to escape the creatures of the night, with only a few scrapes on him. When he collected the final spectral raven, he found himself back in the ally he had left before. He heard a familiar whisper in the dark, "This is my gift to you. Let it grow and use it as you will. You passed." After discovering the cohort, he asked if he could join in their adventures. OOC: I'm not trying to make him sound too powerful, and I will revise if it does. He's planned to be a Shadow Sorcerer. Edit: Sorry about that. I've moved the full one to his sheet and shrunk it down as much as I could above. Edit2: Updated OOC note. Most of character sheet is finished, spells are remaining.
