I just happened twice in the span of a minute. I clicked from the forums to "My Games", had to log in. Then clicked the specific game, had to log in again. Even without this aberrant behavior, I have to log in sometimes multiple times in a week. What's the deal, eh? Any known fix? Using latest chrome on windows. I also use UBlock Origin.. but I imagine a good portion of the userbase fits all of that.
