Improvements in dragging of cards

These are two improvements that would make dragging of cards to and from a players hand easier and more consistent. 1. Make it possible to draw a card from a deck to a players open window. Problem: Currently a card must be drawn directly to the avatar of a user. If they are drawn over a open "hand" window, they end up under it. When that happens, the window must be closed before the card can be manipulated again. Benefit: This would make drawing of cards from the deck easier and more predictable. 2. Make it possible to draw a card from the table to an open window or player avatar Problem: Currently a player must choose "take card" in the right-click menu to move a card into their hand. If a drag & drop is attempted to the "hand" window, it ends up under it, as described above. If it is attempted to a player avatar instead, it also ends up partly under it. Improvement: This would make taking cards from the table more intuitive for a player. It would also make it faster & easier for the GM to give a specific card to a player. Now they must first delete the card and then draw it from the discard pile window to the avatar of the player.
I agree with this, drag and drop into your players hands should be a no brainer.  Welcome to the 2020's.
Definitely improvements I would like.
Is the card system not used at all? Many of the problems with it seem like pretty basic functionality really. Right now, its like you have to constantly struggle with the interface to get anything done.

It's adequate if not thrilling or convenient, to play basic Poker. It's good for randomizing a selection of disposable resources (you have 1 apple, 1 orange, and 2 grapes), and it's good for randomizing a pick from an infinite pool (you have infinity grapes, and infinity pebbles). With those you get good Marketplace card products like "101 Riddles" and "Random Wild Magic". Those work as intended. It's not adequate to play some (many) games that use cards.  It's not innovative for leveraging the power of VTT to make new kinds of uses for cards in gaming. It could be so much more futuristic and beyond simulating tabletop! Historically: The card deck system on Roll20 now is nearly the same as it was when Roll20 first began offering the card deck feature (near the advent of the website, the beginning features). It has not seen significant updates, across the years, as of yet. There are several good Suggestion threads about it, and a vast amount of potential to facilitate more games, more modes of gameplay, more Marketplace packs to sell too.  Vote 'em up +1 +1 +1
