CLOSED: Thank you to everyone who applied!! Hello! I’m looking for a total of 5 players for a long term campaign on Wednesday nights from 7pm-11pm EST via Discord and Roll20. This is a homebrew campaign that does not use the traditional dnd pantheon and will be largely theatre of the mind with some crude maps during combat. I like to craft narrative-driven stories that are within an immersive world that has consequences to your actions. For example, if the party turns down a hook, that NPC isn’t going to just sit around and wait for the party to be ready for it, that NPC is going to take matters into their own hands. While I love tense and exciting combat, I prefer when it comes second to roleplay. Ultimately, the players are in control of where the story goes. I am looking for players who are interested in RPing with the rest of the group and making friendships on more than just discussions of how to get from point A to B in the plot. I would like to work with the players on creating backstories that tie in with the game world and may be woven into the plot. The adventure begins with a call to action by a noblewoman investigating a threat to one of the villages in her barony. The party is gathering together to answer that call. The continent that the party is starting on is made up of many nations with very different cultures and unique relationships to magic, technology, and religion. Important things to note: This campaign is LGBT+ friendly All NSFW content is fade to black There are no inherently evil races, only people and creatures who choose to be evil Absolutely no sexual assault If you have other content you are uncomfortable with or don’t enjoy, I am happy to discuss and accommodate If you’re interested in learning more and wish to apply, please feel free to leave a comment with the answers to these questions: What is your name and what are your pronouns? How old are you? What type of story are you looking to embark on? Is there a particular character you've been wanting to play? If so, tell me about the character. If you're one of those people who prefer to wait to see the lore to determine what you play, tell me instead about your favorite character that you have played. What do you enjoy the most about DnD? Can you describe your DnD playstyle? What are your hobbies and your pet peeves? Can you make the weekly time slot of Wednesday at 7PM EST? Thanks!
