Allowing for easy character progression and character dept. But in order for me to run such games it takes time and lots of i and that isn't even touching on the price to maintain such a campaign. Which brings me to another reason, if you have played on Roll20 for any amount of time than you know all how to common it is for the Dungeon Master to up and disappear on you just days or even minutes before the game.
