Searchable "Join a Game" LFGs are BROKEN FOR ALL OF ROLL20

The "Starting soon" function doesn't work at all 

The round avatar images that used to save Roll20 terabytes daily have also been disabled.

Eeek! Following your thread to see what the fix is. I noticed the huge avatars that load on LFG pages in the Players / Members section too. I don't care if they're round (made into circles) or not, but surely they didn't mean to be loading full size images there? Definitely adding to load times in LFG, watching the pictures list bump the page down, down, down as they load in batches. Confirmed bug, replicated here.

Yes, having a slower connection, years ago I noticed the glacially slow loading of unneeded large images.  I made the suggestion to use the lower byte round avatars, and to limit the number to be displayed.  For some reason, the Team only implemented the display of 15 avatars on the game detail pages, not in the searchable LFGs.  Still, when you consider the huge number of Roll20 users, multiplied by the savings from the round images, and with fewer of them displayed unless clicked, it's been an outrageously large reduction in bytes used throughout Roll20.  Very recently, someone trashed this simple, but major improvement, so terabytes are once again being wasted daily.

I see it (both issues), confirmed. Steps to replicate #1: Under Join a Game, run a search for games that are "Starting Soon".  BUG: The search results are no longer sorting by soon-ness. Steps to replicate #2: Under Join a Game, click on any game offering that already has 5 or 10 or more players enrolled. BUG: The members' avatars are loading in a larger scale than before & not the matching appearance as Game Details page members list avatar size with round cropping.

Anyone know why it takes so long to get an official response on Bug Reports lately? There are a bunch of these threads, with no answer or acknowledgement for days or weeks, on business days mid-week. Just scroll through the Bug forum to see how many of these aren't getting replies from October-November 2020 with the Bug Reporting form or technical troubleshooting steps.

Well, the big Knights OTWW2 community hasn't had basic functionality of our LFG listing restored for well over 4 months, despite submitting multiple bug reports, emails, PMs, etc.&nbsp; Every once in a long while someone from Roll20 will surface long enough to try to shut down the ticket without fixing the problem.&nbsp; It's still not working today.

Hey guys, wanted to post this here, too. I messaged support a little over a day ago about an issue with games not showing in LFG at all (see this thread:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9488741/my-game-isnt-being-advertised" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9488741/my-game-isnt-being-advertised</a>) &nbsp;and received this response a few hours ago: "Hey folks, We apologize for the inconvenience. We're currently investigating a bug with the LFG tool concerning games listings that are affecting some users. We'll be doing research going into the weekend and will let you know once we manage to sniff out the issue at hand. All the best, - Roll20 Team" So it looks like they are aware of the issues. Hopefully we'll have some more information soon.
