Something isn't right in the land. The midsummer, normally hot and rainy, is a boon for the crops. However, this season's weather has gone awry! The days have become chilly and clouds bringing snowfall have begun to spread out from over the Great Forest. To make matters worse, tales of slaughtered cattle and missing farmers near the Forest's edge have spread throughout the realm... The queen has sent ranger and scout alike into the Great Forest to find the source of this foul weather, but none have returned alive. If nothing is done, the harvest will be ruined and the people will surely starve! The queen now calls on you to venture into the Great Forest to determine what is causing this calamity. Will you return nature to its rightful balance, or will you suffer a frigid demise? A Frigid Demise is a 3.5 edition D&D module from Wizards of the Coast that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a dungeon crawl with very little role-playing. This is a game for 4 players at level 13. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting 3-4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. You can choose feats or ability score increase at higher levels. Feel free to use any D&D official source material, except "Ravnica", "Eberron", "Theros", "Wildemount", and Unearthed Arcana. Also, feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio. Players will receive the Discord server link when the start time approaches.
