[LFP] [5e] [PAID] [Experienced DM] [One Shot] [Beginner-Friendly] Looking for players for "Something's Cooking" - D&D 5e One Shot - Level 2 - Great for beginners! - Multiple dates and times this weekend!

You're travelling toward the capital, almost at the end of your long journey. The sun begins to set as you reach an outlying village, and your party decides to rest somewhere a little quieter and less expensive than what you might find in the city. You decide to get rooms at the Wild Stallion Inn, a place recommended by the locals for its good food and warm beds. Gendrew, the innkeeper, welcomes you with a smile and you order up some dinner. It should be a nice, relaxing night before a busy day tomorrow. Hopefully, you don't get into any mischief... Something's Cooking is a 3.5 edition D&D module from Wizards of the Coast that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure focuses on combat and some NPC interaction. Hey there! I would be interested in the 2pm slot, but I see it's full. I'm unable to join another slot due to my time zone, but I'm wondering if you have a Discord server where you communicate game invites that I might be able to hop in and follow for the future? If not, totally fine, just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance either way. In case you're wanting this ahead of time: Age: About to be 28 D&D experience: Started watching in 2019. Have been playing since June 2021. Have played in a one shot, a 4-session mini, and am currently in three longer-term campaigns, weekly and biweekly, one of them since June. Also DMing a 9-session mini myself. Roll20 experience: I'm more familiar and comfortable with D&D Beyond, but the 4-session mini and the one shot were both done on Roll20. Since my first two were on Roll20, I had a lot of help with creating my character sheet. I might be able to figure it out myself out now that I know what I'm doing a lot more, but might need to ask a question or two relating to macros and such. Preferred character build, plus a backup: Gosh, there are several that I'm interested in trying out. I've played a barbarian, a monk, two clerics, and a druid. I've also controlled a blood hunter and another cleric for missing players in my campaign I run, as well as a wizard NPC. I think for a one shot I would look at either a goblin or elven assassin rogue or a human divination wizard, but I'm also super interested in trying out a bard, fighter, ranger, paladin, sorcerer, and warlock. Clearly there are a TON I'm looking forward to playing, so I could adapt to what the party could use to round it out.
The 2pm EST game is still open, so you're welcome to join if you want! Since you filled everything out here, don't worry about writing anything when you apply. You can absolutely ask questions about building a character sheet, or you can use the Charactermancer. I have all of the books mentioned in the post, so the creation wizard should be able to guide you through building a sheet! If you have any further questions, please feel free to message me!
Sounds great. I shot you a DM. Thanks!
