Feature Request - Minimap

As it says above, something next to the zoom +- were users can click to move the current view. (And GM shift-click to move all players to the click.) I do acknowledge it may not be insignificant to code due to fog of war, etc. but its utility cannot be understated as every week one of my players asks me "can you center me on the action?" (they zoomed out, then in, and are scrolling to find where the lit area is on the map...) Mockup (with yellow square around what the current window shows) - Thanks!

Hi GM Aurelian,  While not specifically addressing your request, there is help coming to the zoom out - zoom in - and scroll around issue. Specifically the scrolling part.  Jumpgate has zoom to the cursor. So when you zoom out you can zoom back in centered on your cursor, no scrolling around required.  This should help with the issue you described.
Until a function like you're requesting comes around, and since you have a Pro subscription, here is a link to a video by Nick Olivo where he shows you a script that allows players to center the map on their token.
Also as a current work-around, the GM can right-click on a spot on the map and choose "Focus Ping" from the context menu. That will center everyone's view on that spot.

Sorry, that script does not work for myself and my players. ( I tried it and its fork). The script prompts for a character but the second part of the script does not work its magic. We've tried different players and browsers. : /
+1, I like this idea. A minimap, ideally showing dots where visible party tokens are located, would be so helpful, both for players trying to work a large map zoomed in, and for DMs trying to figure out where one missing player's token managed to scurry off to (sometimes they seem to have minds of their own).
