Hiya! I'm Io, my pronouns are he/it, and I'm looking to add a game(or more) that I can join! I'm a very roleplay focused player who enjoys building complex characters with interesting backstories. For me, the most important part of the game is telling an interesting story with everyone at the table. Almost never will I play a character that focuses on building purely for mechanical advantage, because to me, the mechanics are ground rules for telling a compelling story. I think of the themes and concept of my character's personality first, and build the character to follow that concept. I pay attention during combat so that I don't need to assess the board state and can make my moves quickly and decisively. I live to see other players roleplaying their hearts out, even if I'm not in the scene. I am punctual, often showing up early to sessions. While I don't enjoy combat, I won't shy away from it, either. I'm also very flexible as a player. I am quick to pick up systems I've never played, and really enjoy the process. I'm 34, disabled, and very, very queer. My other hobbies include drawing, writing, and crocheting. I love meeting people and getting to know them, but lack the ability to go out and do that regularly. Typically, I enjoy stories that have dark or sexual content, but I enjoy tamer material as well. I can provide some information on previous characters I've played, too, if you want to get an idea of characters I enjoy playing. If you're looking for a player who can ramble on in character, who will sniff out and follow any plot hook you dangle in front of me, and doesn't shy away from making a few(or more) dirty jokes, I'm the player for you!
