Tooltips not displaying for invisible tokens

Hello! I use invisible tokens on my maps and add info in their tooltips so when people hover over that area of the map, they can read the tooltip info (kind of like this: https://wiki.roll20.net/Invisible_Tokens ). Within the past week, I've noticed that Roll20 has suddenly stopped showing the tooltips upon hovering, but only for the invisible tokens. I do the same tooltip trick with visible tokens and they still work. I have tested adding new invisible tokens (using a different transparent PNG) and it seems to work, but it will be a huge amount of work changing every token. I also don't know whether the same problem might just repeat on the new invisible tokens as well further down the line. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Was there a Roll20 update that removed this feature? Have I got a weird setting on my PC? Any help or advice is appreciated.

Hi Aj! This is a bug with "Enable Performance Enhancements", found on your settings tab under graphics. It has been reproed and reported. I was not in a position to test earlier when I gave my initial answer. Jarren sussed it out (below). Hmm. I make extensive use of Invisible tokens, and have not run into this issue. I assume you have rigorously checked the tooltip visibility settings on the non-functioning tokens? Could you post a screenshot of the token settings on one of these tokens, in case there's something your missing, or we are miscommunicating over something?

I went to try to repro this. If you drag a transparent image to the map to use as a a token you can't really interact with it at the moment. For instance double-clicking doesn't work, nor does attempting to move it. Something is definitely new and weird here. (Chrome, macOS). edit: unchecking "Enable Performance Enhancements" makes things work they way they should as far as I can see.
I noticed today that I cannot move any of my invisible tokens. i also cannot open their token menus by double-clicking on them. I have tried: Restarting Chrome Restarting Firefox Deleting chache Refreshed the game(s) Restarting the game(s) Logging out of Roll20 and back in I finally sent a help request and received the acknowledgment that the request was received.

Unchecking it fixed the issue. I'm going to reply to my help request acknowledgment with that information.

I just discovered that, and have done likewise as well as filed a report. Sorry I didn't test earlier. I wasn't near my main computer.

I tripped over this during my The One Ring session yesterday, but the fix had slipped my mind. Off I go to check all my games before the day is out.
Thanks for all the helpful replies! I switched off 'Enable Performance Enhancements' and its fixed everything for now. Much appreciated @Jim R, you've saved me a lot of time and energy! :)
