🎨 Faster Art Library Search Announcement 🎨

Howdy, y'all! Meredith from Community! We have a very exciting update from our developer, Nick, on the VTT Team! 🎊 One of the best things about building games for your players is finding the right images to help convey the scene. Thankfully, we have hundreds of art packs available on the Marketplace, from some of your favorite publishers, plus thousands of independent creators. You get to build your own campaigns, set up battles (small or major!), and create wonderful visuals to accompany the stories you weave. However, we know that if you have a lot of content in your library, searching for, well, pretty much anything can be agonizingly slow… or in the worst cases, just not pull up any results at all. This is incredibly frustrating, especially if you’re looking to set something up quickly for tonight’s game. Thankfully, this problem may be a thing of the past. Nick has officially released a solution to all users on the platform that should alleviate the stress on library search, regardless of how many art packs you own.. Art Library Search is now 70% FASTER.  Before today, it took 20 seconds or longer (sometimes resulting in a search failure) to look through your art packs. Today, that number has dropped by 70% or more - most search queries take less than 5 seconds now. As always, please let us know if you run into any challenges with this new release. Otherwise, enjoy this lovely quality-of-life update, and we hope you’ll find more joy in getting your games set up quicker! 👀 To see the video of the side-by-side comparison, click here! (Will take you to YouTube!) The video showcases Nick setting up an encounter on the right and finishes before the previous search on the left even gets through the first step.
The faster search is much appreciated! Is there a way to show where duplicate files (or file links) are stored? If I've created folders in my art library, it's possible that I have an image in "recent uploads" with links in one or more user-created folders, I'd like for the search to show where those links are. Also, there have been cases where I've uploaded an image more than once (uploading an image that I'd forgotten I had already uploaded, possibly months ago). Currently, I can't tell if duplicate search results are two files in "recent uploads" or one a file in "recent uploads" and a link in a user-created folder.
