Syrinscape Integration

There's a good simple integration available which you guys could impliment allowing users to remotely control Syrinscape from within Roll20. A fan at Fantasygrounds recently wrote a plug in that utilizes the 3rd party integration functions of Syrinscape to allow users to attach Syrinscape sounds to map locations or readout text or events. Can people write plugins for Roll20? (Realmworks and d20pro have done the same in house). We're happy to help however we can whenever you guys are ready. :-) ~Ben (from Syrinscape)
In the meantime anyone interested in using Syrinscape with Roll20 should check out our forums for info on routing Syrinscape's sounds through Skype or Teamspeak or Google Hangouts. :-)
+1 for integration
I have been a subscriber to Syrinscape and I just recently found roll20! I would Loooove to have these two work together!

Roll20 + Syrinscape, please! Thanks for the tip on Skype sound routing, Ben.
This would fix so many atmosphere issues in my game!
This would be a FANTASTIC addition -- I love both programs, and not having to kludge around the limitations would rock! +1
please, Bring syrinscape into Roll20!!

Though I do not use Syrinscape, I would like to see it being implemented. That would open the door for other 3rd party platforms. I chose Roll20 over Fantasy Grounds because it is the less proprietary.

Let me reiterate my +1 for Syrinscape & Roll20 integration, especially taking recent developments for SoundCloud into consideration. Come on guys...it's not brain surgery! Both companies can benefit from this!
For all the people saying it's easy, as a person in software development, let me assure you this is not something to easily do. Both systems need to have the ability to integrate and support the performance of hundreds if not thousands of users streaming 1 or more files simultaneously in their games. Not only do you have to support the new features and integrations, this has to be balanced against bug fixes, performance enhancements, and architectural changes that allow the platform to scale. The new developments of SoundCloud dropping API support may cause this to rise to the top of the backlog but it by no means makes integration any easier.
Seeing that Sound Cloud just killed their API I think the Roll20 Staff should seriously go ahead on this.
That would be awesome. My game has needed this from the beginning, and now more than ever.
Please integrate this with Roll20!
With the loss of Soundcloud, Syrinscape would be an incredibly fitting replacement(improvement)! +1 for Syrinscape!
Definitely need this in mah life
+1 for Syrinscape! I would love to be able to use it in my Roll20 games!
+1 I would love for this to happen!

+1 for Syrinscape, Always late to the party but never the first one to leave...
+1 Count me in, Syrinscape is amazing, and really should replace the "Jukebox" tab.
+1 This could replace our current workaround.
I'm not sure if this has been noted anywhere else, but I have been trying to use Syrinscape on Roll20 for several days, and found the link for the Pro Tip #7 over on the syrinscape site...using it with Skype. https://forum.syrinscape.com/t/syrinscape-protip-7... So I began playing around with voicemeeter and simply couldn't get my skype or Discord to cooperate. The person I was trying to communicate with suggested we just log into Roll20 to see if our mics were still working...AND POW...everything was flowing in Roll20...I was able to use Syrinscape as well as another sound board I have purchased sounds for...they all went through Voicemeeter and came out in Roll20 for my players to hear. So from my experience you only need to follow the first half of setting up Voicemeeter from that protip #7 link...you should be able to stop at the Skype section...worked for us at least. Cheers, Marcus
