I'm interested though Roll20 voice chat is kinda bad and doesn't always work for me right, you think we could use skype for voice chat?
Sounds interesting.

I'd like to send an email application, but for some reason, yahoo mail keeps telling me that the address doesn't exist.
Be sure that you didn't copy the "." at the end of his email address. I was getting an error when I tried to send him an email because of that.

This campaign will be starting after GenCon. Serious reliable players please.
I have a question. Will roleplaying be done in text format with OOC in voice or some other combination?
Just sent in my email application.
@Zachary: what ever happens there's no set rule, I speak in voice of most of my NPCs when ever I can, I have a number of Game Voices I use.
ANY PLAYER WHO HAS HERO LAB AND WANTS TO CREATE A CHARACTER AND SEND ME THE HERO LAB FILE or A PDF OF THE CHARACTER, FEEL FREE TO DO IT. LEVEL 1 PC, No Evil Aligned, 20 Point Buy, Core Rules or Advanced Players Guide, only.
I will make a character and send it sometime in the next couple of days. It will be a pdf character sheet, since I don't have hero lab.
Can you give us any details about the story or do you not know? mainly will we playing in Golarion and if so where will we be starting?
Not tipping my hat on anything. Be prepared for anything! Content of the party could influence the direction the overall story takes. If the party turns out to be 4 Wizards and 2 Barbarians, it will progress quite differently that if it was a Party of 3 Clerics, 2 Paladins, and Sorcerer. I will say this, if the party has No Rogue (Strike One), No Cleric (Strike Two). These are essential in most of my games, yet I will not require anyone to play anything they are not comfortable with. So you can see how the party make up can alter how the story moves along.
I made a Monk, though if anyone wants to plan it out a little more, we could talk about characters in this thread.
Hi Jeff I would like to join this game. Replying to your comment on my post. I was in the game you ran the other night (I was the Wizard for Vault of the Gypsy King on August 1st). Let me know if its alright. Can you post here the party composition ? I would rather fill the gaps than make a fifth wizard lol
I would like to be the cleric. I wasn't sure which class I wanted to play, but since we need a cleric, I'll do it. I would also like to second the current party composition request.
@Felix if you are going to be a Monk he will be an Occidental not a KungFu Type, which would not fit the world. Discussing party make up is a very good idea.
So far I had one Player EMail me a PDF Character Sheet, A Ranger.
I'll make a rogue to be sure we have one.
I'll be making a witch. I can cover some healing if necessary, but I'd like to focus on the debuffs.
What days of the week are you going to run this?
Looking at a Tuesday Night Right Now
I rolled up a cleric
What is the issue with the monk?
@Felix I think he means the monk wouldn't be an Eastern kind of monk (like the Pathfinder iconic monk), but rather a Western, European kind of monk. Eastern monk: <a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/_/rsrc/1286223100621/classes/core-classes/monk/Sajan.jpg?height=400&width=276" rel="nofollow">http://www.d20pfsrd.com/_/rsrc/1286223100621/classes/core-classes/monk/Sajan.jpg?height=400&width=276</a> Western/Occidental monk: <a href="http://www.wvwnews.net/images/teaser/monk.jpg" rel="nofollow">http://www.wvwnews.net/images/teaser/monk.jpg</a>
Yeah, I get that but the monk mechanical doesn't reflect kung fu except ki. for example I could be a bar room brawler and still be a monk or a boxer. Edit: I reread jeff's comment I didn't understand it at first sorry?
Can I get any details on the setting?
He already kinda responded to that Felix, I think with as much info as we'll get for now, its a few posts up. As for my character, I've been working on a character that will be either Ranger or Fighter, multi-classed with Alchemist (Vivisectionist).
So, so far we got Ranger(?) Alchemist or Witch Rogue Cleric Monk(?)
May I be the 6th hero?
I'll be playing as a ranger.
I've made two characters, an archer cleric, and a shapeshifting focused melee druid. Whichever one the GM decides is needed, is the one I'll use.
Well, it looks like there will be enough clerics to handle the healing duties.
I'm going to make another monk with a more European flavor.
By the way, are traits being used for this game? I'm not including them on my character, but if they are being used, I'd need to make adjustments.
Traits, sure, also going to use Hero Points, with a House Rule stipulation. @Felix Think Friar Tuck, in the 1939 Adventures of Robin Hood, a portly but deadly swordsman. Just kidding:)
A Word About Character Creation: I have received several Character Sheets with some very interesting PCs. So I want to make sure that everyone understands certain guidelines. Everyone wants to get what they think will be the BEST SET OF NUMBERS, for their character, this I don't consider POWER GAMING until it is. I don't need an explanation of why Bruno the Barbarian has a Strength of 18, but I do want to know exactly why he has a Charisma of 6. If you have Ability Scores below 9 you better have a good reason. Why am I making this point? This is not a Campaign for 6 Individuals to wander the land for the betterment of their person goals, you will be relying on each other and the Role Play within the game should reflect this. Bozo with his Charisma of 8 suddenly telling everyone what to do, Blinky with his 8 Intelligence he's going to read the Runes carved in the bottom of the vampire's coffin, Chubby and his 8 Dex about scale the wall of the Orc's Fortress. All of these are of course possible but very unlikly. Just keep it moderately real, for a Fantasy World. One More thing, AJAX uses CHARISMA checks ALL the TIME, they are considered the LUCK FACTOR. And another One More thing: Multi Classing cannot start until level 5 and then with a good story as to why. I know "BUMMER".
Since many of you asked about locations, here is a short summary to get you started, I use all kinds of sources, and I freely use names drawn from different publications and products. Many of the Names mentioned here refer to the Forgotten Realms, yet some are my own creations. The Campaign World will not be germain to the Story as much as what happens in it. None of this should have a direct effect on the game itself, save for some deity names. TALES OF ANCIENT EMPIRES: Starting Facts Starting Location: Oak Port, a small fishing village, Pop. 600, mostly human fishermen, small community of halflings skilled at the art of ScrimShaw. Major Landmark: Candlekeep and it's great library lie only 5 miles to the north. scholarly PCs will have managed access thus explaining their reason for being in the region. Other Areas of Significance: Woods of Sharp Teeth. This was the site of a recent Orc Uprising, put down by a band of mercenary fighter types, any PCs who would fall into that category would have come from that conflict after it ended. Recently built Temple of the Brightest Star: A still under construction Temple built as a joint effort of Good Aligned Worshipers of different deities. Called the Temple of the Brightest Star in Honor of Lathander because the sponsor was the Great Temple of the Sun in Baldur's Gate. Warlock's Crypt: Supposed home of Larloch, the Lich, feared as the most powerful entity in the entire Realms. He has made no sign of his presence in nearly 50 years........ The City State of Rovinia: Walled city and Home to the newly ordained King of the Gypsies, Bilkov the Poisoner. It is rumored that Bilkov murdered his brother Talkov, the rightful king. Rovinia is a city of intrigue, the Rogue's Guild in Rovinia has the largest known network of spies, it is common knowledge through the region, if you need information and are willing to pay, Rovinia and the Brotherhood of the Sly Hand are your best source. Rovinia is also a city on the verge of rebellion, many of the citizens are not willing to accept the tyrant Bilkov, as his brother Talkov was a fair and just Ruler. There is a saying "When visiting Rovinia, keep one hand on you hilt and the other on your purse". The Hall of the Iron Forges: This is a Dwarven complex very close to the surface. Built largely from abandoned iron mine shafts in the Iron Hills and newly excavated chambers. It is ruled by a Charismatic Dwarf called "Ragnor the Popular". Nearly all visitors are welcomed except Half Orcs, which are never granted entrance, Elves and Half Elves are always viewed with contempt. Halflings are treated royally. Other information maybe passed along to individuals for them to pass it along to the party in the form of Role Play. Questions? Feel Free to comment, if it involves complaining however do it as a Private Message, :)
I have another question is the ranger, Ranged or a dual wielder?
Is the deity for my cleric acceptable?
My guess is not a duel wielder, he uses a Bastard Sword and that is a Two Hand Weapon unless you have the Exotic Weapon Proficiency. @Randy Yes.
I'll just link the character sheet so you can look at it. <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=431021" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=431021</a> Another question: Now, I know you said we were limited to Core and Advanced Player's Guides - but I saw another archetype for ranger, which was in the Ultimate Magic book, the Trapper - I was curious as to if you would allow that? <a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/ranger/archetypes/paizo---ranger-archetypes/trapper" rel="nofollow">http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/ranger/archetypes/paizo---ranger-archetypes/trapper</a>
Is the rogue a ranged rogue, I was gonna make a archer as a back up.
You could always do a Zen Archer Monk, since you wanted to make a monk.
