Greetings! Availability: -6 PM GMT (UK-time) to 1 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays, with some Wednesdays or Thursdays possible. -Available 12 PM to 1 AM on Saturdays/Sundays (though might have a game from 5 PM Saturday). Not expecting sessions that long, it's just the hours I can be available for. Systems: -Pathfinder (ideal). -3.5 (familiar with). -Song of Fire & Ice (never played before, but sufficiently intrigued to play it). About me: In the past I used to DM very often, and was capable of making up a good adventure on the spot – I would have lots of regular players who chose my game over the others, so I imagine I was fairly competent back when I used to go to a regular group. But that was years ago, so I'm probably rusty. Now I'm looking to get back into the habit of roleplaying again, and play with a group willing to help me learn the Roll20 system. I learn by doing (playing with someone who can talk me through certain things) far better than by watching tutorial videos and trying to mimic it, so I am looking for a game where I can learn the ropes before starting any ambitious projects. Beyond that I'm flexible: -open to short-term groups spanning a single campaign, or more permanent groups intending to play multiple campaigns together. -can fit any role the group needs. Tank, buffing, arcane caster, skill-monkey… I have lots of character ideas I can adapt to the setting or plot. -any Adventure Path, or something completely different. I can adapt to a lot of things. -prefers role-play, but can roll-play for the sake of the group. Roll-playing still has its fun aspects and still meets my goal of learning Roll20 better. Things I would like to avoid: -Competitive applications. For now, while I'm an outsider not used to seeing how applications are handled (most of the applications for games I've seen just get ignored), it feels uncomfortably exclusive to me. If you want to talk to me via Skype first, that's fine – just send me a PM so I know who the Skype request is from. -Mandatory webcam, especially if live-streaming or recording. I don't like being on camera. If I ever need to give someone a picture of me, I will wear a shark costume on principle. -Mandatory rolled ability scores. I much prefer to use point-buy. Also, I'm open to discussing anything not already mentioned. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them.
