Greetings and Salutations fellow Role-players. Because we have 2 ''Looking for player'' threads running on this forum, people started to get a bit confused. So to clear all the confusion up: here is the 1 combined thread for both games that also explains a bit what is going on. Also if you follow the information you can sign up to be a player in our games. What is happening?: We from MarathonEP are starting a dual D&D 5E (twitch streamed) campaign. This means we will be running a D&D campaign with 2 different groups in the same world. They won't be playing at the same time but The actions of 1 group changes the events of the other. Example #1: Group 1 might save a village, and when group 2 arrives at that village they hear the tales of group 1 saving that village. Example #2: Group 1 might lose a fight to a group of bandits. Then back in town there will be a wanted poster with the request to take out those bandits. Group 2 might see that wanted poster and claim the reward. Example #3: Group 1 and 2 might both have angered the same Lord. Group 1 decides to raid that lords castle while he is away and loot his weapon room. Then when group 2 attacks the castle, the soldiers might have less or no weapons. Possibilities are endless! The groups : Since everyone loves D&D we will be playing with 1 European group and 1 American group. The European group will play every Wednesday at 9PM (21:00) CEST (Paris/Amsterdam time). For Americans that is 3PM (15:00) EST (Eastern standard time). The American group will play every Tuesday at 7PM (19:00) EST (Eastern standard time). For Europeans that is Wednesday 1AM (1:00) CEST (Paris/Amsterdam time). We are still looking for players for both groups so feel free to join us. For the players: Things you need to know: -We are going to run a 5th edition D&D campaign which will be streamed on twitch. -The stream is happening once a week. The day and time has yet to be picked. -The DM is an Actor so expect many voices, strange faces and a hell of a good time. -We will be playing a tried and tested campaign with a deep story and rich characters. -The campaign is from the ''good'' perspective so only good and neutral characters allowed. -any question about what characters we allow in the campaign? Check the 5th edition manual. -Now we need PLAYERS (you?) What are we looking for? -Excitement (we're going on twitch ya'all) -We are looking for committed players who are able to at least commit for the next 3-4 months to play on a weekly basis -Good English skills (understand/speak it) -A good mic AND Webcam (people want to hear and see you) -A passion for role playing. We expect all the players joining us to play in character (like they do on critical role) -a total of 4 to 6 players (depending on how many excited people respond). -People who read the list below well and answer ALL the questions...those who don't answer them all shall not be taking into consideration. So what do you do? Sent us a PM on roll20 with the following information (Read this WELL): - Do you have Roleplaying experience? - Do you have 5th edition D&D experience? - How old are you? - Are you man or woman in real life? - Where are you from? (timezone and country) - A description of the character you want to play. Race/Class/Gender/backstory/Purpose-goals/fears By sending us this PM you agree with the following statements - You are ok with being on twitch (voice and face) - You can commit for at least 95% to a weekly session for the next 3 to 4 months. - You will enjoy this game! :D and make it the best d&d experience for yourself and everyone around. All kidding aside guys, we are here cos we LOVE this game and we LOVE roleplaying. We want to make it an amazing show and an incredible game and we can't do that without you guys. We are looking forward to hear from you guys and even if you don't make the game...we would LOVE to have you guys come watch us laugh/cry/cheer and fail horribly in the upcoming twitch campaign.
