It is very likely I will miss June 21st's session, due to travel.&nbsp; I will be on the road returning from Houston, where I'll be appearing at COMICPALOOZA.&nbsp; It's always a nice convention because everyone gets mixed in together in one huge room, rather than being sectioned off by genre. Thursday will be 50/50 for me, but considering I could only play Paul's side-story line by going astral, then if I CAN play, and Paul is there, then sure I'll do my damnedest to be there.

As I said, delusional! (Valk and Kricket are very good characters by good players) (we kid around...it's a solid group when it comes to roleplaying skills and improvisation. When we find something that hasn't been planned for or there aren't rules for, we have a "tolerance level" for looking for the actual rules.&nbsp; If about 4 minutes go by, Gold usually just says, "You know what? roll a d20 and I'll make a call."&nbsp; Pace is important when you're using Roll20) Got to rest now.&nbsp; It has been a gruelling few days and odds are 70-30 that Sigma will be there on time Tuesday.&nbsp; We may be in Houston hitting specialty equipment stores all of Monday and driving back home (11 hours) overnight.&nbsp; If I can come up with a feasible way (including grabbing a room on the way) to be in game on time, I'll make it.&nbsp; If I am not in a good health condition, well, that'd be the only reason I'll miss.

If i don't show... it was more than a nap I needed. But whatever shape he's in, the party needs its 'taur, and he needs this party.

So, you may have noticed that I haven't been around for quite some time and I am terribly sorry about that, but university is hard as hell and I really needed the whole week to study for my exams. Hello Thursday.&nbsp; Hello Thursday players. Hello asscrack of deadline.&nbsp; Have a story contracted for an anthology and discovered that the editor---falsely assuming Misty & I talk about everything---has left me out of his mailing list on the anthology, only communicating with her. So hey surprise, turns out the deadline's yesterday, lucky me, and the last email I got from that editor was January. Of 2015.&nbsp; It is for a Valdemar anthology, where I have had ongoing stories about Kelvren (The Brave), so the fans are kiiiinda expecting another installment, you know? So I have about a week to do about 9,000 polished words, and in established continuity (I am establishing canon for 2018's Valdemar books). So...I'm in for gaming but might not be at my best because of fatigue, as I push on to get this thing done with as much quality as I can manage.

Dear Larry , if you need to spend time on work (or rest so that you can complete the work), we understand. &nbsp;It is ok if you decide to miss a game session, or if you need to leave early. Even though we've presented Horukh as the central employer for the Tower Descent adventures, it's easy enough in the city-based story to have your fellow PC's adventuring part-way without you for a day, if needed. Of course you are welcome to join and play for whatever amount of time you want to take a break from your book deadline. Havoc : Playing today and creating his PC.
