Got a changelog for this, Seth ? Overall I saw several nice innovations (like Roll20 Name, Magic Resistance, Equipment Locations on the body parts, and write-your-own Item Macros for Potions Dusts and Scrolls), some bulk added that's quite specific and narrow to a minority of games (such as EB Tun under DEX, Psionics in 3+ places around the sheet, sections for having a 4th and 5th class, and Ravenloft material under Saving Throws). Probably the issue that stands out the most to me on first testing is seeing important Character-defining stats Class and Kit moved lower on the sheet, with lesser stats like Vision and Profession moved up above that. I'll come back to this and explain my requests to improve it, below. A broken graphic icon appears at the top left. I would request if you can expand the Field size of the text area for Vision, Character Name, and Profession or Secondary Skill, to be as large and wide as the text area fields currently are on Kit, Homeland, Deity. The reason is that the answer to Vision, Char Name, and Profession or Secondary Skill, can sometimes be a longer answer that would be nice to Show rather than scrolling away into the hidden text. If it would help I can provide longish real-game examples of Player responses to those 3 fields. Roll20 Name + Player Name.... Excellent addition. This is great. I'd like to see this idea on almost every Roll20 Character Sheet (all game systems). Move Class & Level & Kit up, near Gender, Alignment and the 3 Name fields. These are the top details of the Character Sheet IMO. Move Vision and "Profession" down (near Homeland and Deity). Rename "Profession" as Secondary Skill, since Profession is not a stat in 2E but Secondary Skill is an optional stat. They are synonyms, but it's best to parallel the rulebook terminology on character sheet for findability. The section with 5 classes? This looks bulky and confusing, and degraded the importance of Class on the Character Sheet, Class should be a top-section field. When can you do 5 classes in 2E? The most that I've heard of is a multiclass Fighter/Wizard/Thief and this is quite rare. Many more PC's have Class+Kit than have Class+Class+Class. I would like this section to show fewer class fields (maximum 3), and much wider text area for each Class name. For example in the current format, even "Necromancer" does not fit in the field without hiding part of the word (Necroman..), much less something like "Mage Transmuter Specialist of the School Of Alteration" or "Specialty Priest of the Goddess of Moons and Oceans". Make each Class field as wide as the current fields of Kit, Homeland, Deity. The XP section, I'm very intrigued. How does this work? EDIT: Ok I tested and this is confusing. The "Add" button seems to mean adding another Class, so another XP calculator. This is confusing because the user will click "Add" when they want to Add new XP. It isn't clear that the button adds a new XP calculator which would only be useful for a Dual Class or Multiclass. Maybe put an explanation note here, "Click Add to start a new XP calculator if you are Dual Class or Multiclass". Under Ability Scores ---- when you do not have Player's Option turned on, but you still see P.O. modifiers under Dex. Can you hide the PO modifiers when the PO ability chart is not being used? (E.B. and Tun). Those could cause confusion in games that don't use PO particularly new players who have not read PO and don't know what EB and Tun means. New Players would continually ask DM's, "What is EB and where do I find my EB mod?" Under Ability Scores still ---- I saw you used the asterisk* for things like EB and Tun, to indicate they are Player's Option. One problem with this is that PHB stats already defined the Asterisk, namely, it is used under standard CON mods (Player's handbook Table 3) dealing with extra HP bonus that Warriors get under CON. So maybe consider a different symbol to denote P.O. stats, or make it hide all P.O. stats when you checkmark the radio-button for "Standard". Under Ability Scores still --- Under CON you added "Magic Save" and, this is not a stat in PHB's CON table. Is this regarding the Dwarf saving throw bonus of CON? (I would have the Dwarf player write it under Saving Throw Notes instead of under CON). I would remove this from under CON because every non-dwarf player would be asking "I don't see this on the CON chart, where do I get my Magic Save?" Under Ability Scores still --- the NOTES section is not justified to the right margin like it is on Dylan's sheet. Can you make it so? Under INT --- I see a large number of tiny fields under Immunity. What is this for? This adds bulkiness to the appearance. Under WIS --- the Bonus Spells field is too small. It needs to accommodate text like "2x 1st, 2x 2nd, 1x 3rd, 1x 4th". Make a wider text area for Bonus Spells. Psionics -- break out to a separate section and combine with the other 2 sections scattered around that talk about Psionics. Most 2E games I've seen don't use it, granted some do so it's a nice feature to add on Sheet if it does not add to the bulkiness or reduce usability for games (majority) that don't employ psionics. The way it is arranged now, it does add bulk in the HP section, due to mixing 3 Psionics stats in the middle of HP and AC (stats that are commonly used in every game). Psionic Attacks --- this looks good. Is this based on the Player's Option version of Psionics? Or "The Will And The Way" version? I believe it is the PO version. You could move the PSP stats down here near the Psionic Attacks, since the user would be referring to those 2 sections only-if they are a Psionics character in a campaign that uses Psionics. Psionic Powers --- section currently under WP and NWP. Consolidate this section to be near the 2 other Psionics sections, and possibly create one of those "Hide" buttons to let users hide all the psionics stuff at once. Again, the main reason is, most players don't need the psionics at all, and those psionics PC who need this information would probably be happy to have it all together in one area of the sheet. Potions / Dust / Scrolls section. I see you did some innovation here. LOVE the field where you can type your own personalized macro for the item! It looks like it could use labeling. Can you put column headers so that the far-right column can be labeled "Quantity"? I see you put the # in the field as a default, but once the user types a 3 there, now it is a loose unlabeled 3. It should say Quantity overhead so that we know, Quantity 3. Worn Equipment --- this looks outstanding! This is my favorite innovation that you did on the sheet. (Fields like Head, Eyes, Face, Neck, Shoulders, Right Arm). Spells Memorized --- I think that I like "Casted Today". This seems to be a good innovation. But I would want to try it as a Mage PC, in a game of fairly high level (having a lot of spells) and then I could comment/review this section better. The concept looks smart, but, maybe it can be consolidated because that is going to be a very long page of spells & many many fields to keep track of, if you got 20-30-40 spells. Currency --- Does this add anything onto Weight? I'm not too concerned about it personally (I do not use Char Sheet for encumbrance and weight calculations myself typically). But since we have the Sheet tallying up their Weight and Encumbrance, my question is, does it add weight in their tally if they happen to have 100,000 coins listed under Currency? Under Saving Throws --- Good idea to put Magic Resistance here. I don't mind that. But can you hide "Fear, Horror, Madness"? Those look setting-specific, possibly Ravenloft, not very commonly used. Like other optional sections, this needs to be at-least labeled, or preferably separated with the option to Hide the section, so that it does not confuse new players who are working from just the Player's Handbook. Under Saving Throws --- where you put the grey note "No +" to tell the user not to put a + sign in the field. That's good. Thank you. Good warning. Seth -- Thanks for contributing your AD&D 2E sheet work and taking player feedback on this. Gold.
