Sammo will take the scrolls, then when we finish with the towers can use the spell on scroll to determine what is magical. For the shield I would say try using it and say the word inscribed on it see what happens :)

even though we didn't get too much done this past session the group still managed to make a big score... 9,000cp 2,000ep 1 glass vial of an green-apple colored liquid, which upon closer inspection has whisps of vapor swirling above it 1 suit of half elf/human sized chain mail. and this beaten silver bracelet (instead of being gold with diamonds)

Most artifacts, if you go by the DMG, may not radiate magic or have a very low magic read.  Varied by GM I suppose too.

That is the most annoying thing and I'm kinda sick of saying it, they do not spurn possessions and money they limit themselves  so if I paladin knows they will be getting something or need to get something they will save up for it. I was only doing it because the last few sessions we had say how much for each person. But yes I don't care when it's split up. *Calms down*

I vote for the :wait until the end then figure out how much each person gets in gold then take items and gold accordingly. Magic items aside, we chould chose who gets that when they are aquired so as to not count as "treasure". Because a +1 sword would leave someone never getting treasure for like 3 adventures.

i have always played when magic items is found the player with most benefit from it gets to use it. Then after the adventure one of two things happened depending on the groups greed levels :) (1)after the adventure give it back or buy it for same price group would get as a selling price (still cheaper than buying new). (2)player just keep the magic item
I always treat magic items separately.  With the same, whoever benefits most keeps it mentali
The only problem with dividing up money at the end is when someone doesnt attend but 1 session of the 6 week adventure, but then gets the same as those whom contributed the most/entire of the sessions. I know real life happens, and that maybe the case for me very soon, but it kinda punishes the people whom attend regularly. They use up magic items, while the character whom only attends once or twice, still has the magic items and same amount of gold to buy new ones. So that would allow people to miss their character being exposed to being turned to stone, energy drained, stat reducions, etc.but get the same amount of rewards minus xp. But enough gold and magic items it buys, then level becomes unimportant. A 3rd level mage is still an arse kicker with a wand of fireballs or a staff of the magi. I dont care, I am a fighter class and level drives my THACHO, and traditionally magic items are more powerful in caster classes anyway.  But this the second or third time this system has been voted on, so I will go along if that is what everyone wants to do.
i like the idea of splitting it up with those that attend the session, magic items excluded meaning i like the "give it to whomever benefits the most", and if more than one person wants a particular item, roll for it.
never waste a magic item if someone can use it.

People that miss sessions loose out on the XP and because Mark always posts what was found, so we could even add names of people that played So at end of adventure we split each sessions items for whoever was there.

Will take the Bone wand, but not in hand. I will pick it up with a stick or something and keep it until I can identify it. And I will be taking the Potion until someone other than Grace claims it. I will not be using it but will be holding on to it until, like I said, someone else claims it.
