My time zone is GMT I free after 5pm to 03:00am here is a little bit about me "I use my own experience of having a learning disability to make sure Thera East Anglia provides people with quality care and support. I check that people are being supported to design and manage their own support. I take a lead on Being Heard that makes sure the people we support can have their voices heard." I'm David Parker, the Service Quality Director for Thera East Anglia. I've been doing my job since August 2010 and I've been busy since the day I started! I heard about the role of service quality director at Thera through my social worker. I thought the role sounded really interesting and found Thera's vision inspiring. I was invited to an interview where I took part in group tasks and was interviewed on my own. When I was offered the job I was excited to take on the new challenge. As a service quality director and member of the company board, I am responsible for making sure that the people Thera support are able to make their own choices. I also work with The Quality Company to make sure Thera are providing quality care and support to people with a learning disability. I take a lead on Being Heard which makes sure the people we support can have their voices heard. On an average day at work, I normally start the day by getting the train to visit one of the people Thera support. I meet with the person and their staff team at their house. I find out if they are happy with their support, look at their PCP and ask if they are having any problems. Afterwards, I talk to my executive assistant about the meeting I've just had and plan my workload. We will then work together on reports I need to complete. At the moment I am setting up a communications group for Thera. I think that communications are very important to people with a learning disability. I am setting up the group to make sure Thera can communicate in lots of different ways to meet the needs of the people supported. Although my job can be busy, I like that my job gives me the opportunity to make sure that people with a learning disability have control over their own support my gaming  experience  I role play with   Professional  GM on Facebook and I have role play with friends from the USA like  Andrew Armstrong  Who do's Monday night gaming he is a youTuber and I have game with him I all so game with over GM that all so run YouTube  channels  I'm a very  committed  Player and very  respectable  Player to so if they any GM's looking for a player for D&D 5ed please would you post me and let me join you  fabulous  Group thank you for reading my post
