LOCATION : The Clearing Date/Time : ?/?/?, 4 days after initiation WHO : Everyone Prescott approached Zara "Excuse me, Marchioness Zara ir’Bonnert" he gave a respectful bow "I want to be certain we are not at cross purposes. It has been my intention to assist your people by spreading them across Thrane, easing the burdens of the cities in taking them in. I will admit it is also beneficial to The Order of the Silver Flame, as they may receive new converts, but this was of secondary concern to me." He quickly straightened his beard, suddenly realizing it may have become a bit wild "I understand your desire to bring your people to you. Is there something more to this? I suppose the question is, what are your intentions? Are you attempting to build a new nation? Are you going to attempt to regain Cyre?"
LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 2 weeks after the group's formation, evening WHO : Allithea, Kittree "Hah!" Allithea laughed heartily at the halfling's words "I haven't heard that  nickname in, quite a while!" "Ooooohh" The druid got a big hug, this time one where the strong woman was not holding back as much and more than likely, the air would have been knocked out of Kit (juuuust for a second).  "But yes! Food, good wine maybe?" The far traveller suggested, her accent as prevalent as it ever was. "I think it is a GREAT idea, and the more time goes on the more I think it will benefit us. While I'm happy to trust all of our allies, wanting us all to agree, but trust has to be built on something after all." Thea nodded to her own words with a very sort of, serious look. "No? What do you think Kit. You are like my ambassador, you've met everyone here before and spent time with us; you know everyone!" The paladin and healer happily declared! Kit was lifted up and spun then, Thea hoping she could make her beloved friend giggle some before she could set Kit back down. He was so cute  when he laughed or smiled!! "Always look on the positive side" Thea set the druid back down "We need to, if we're going to help do the same for others. If we let the situation darken our own emotions - we are defeating ourselves!"  Finally Allithea waved her hand before her face, as though assuring Kit that it was not important to listen to the red-haired warrior "But I think that that's enough serious talk for now, isn't that right my little brother?" she donned her brightest smile, genuinely happy with the little Druid she had met long ago. "I will supply the food, and the wine. You will be the mediator between us, inviting everyone. What do you think?" The offer was put forward.
LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 6 days after the group's formation, morning WHO : Allithea, Prescott, Manneo, Zara, Stain, Kittree, Trea, Serendipity "Woah!" Kittree was fascinated by the flames that dance off the ropes she immediately ran over and climbed on the table. She paused for a moment when she saw Prescott's expression. His almost longing gaze into the flames always made Kittree uneasy. Her eyebrow raised when she noticed his lips moving for a moment as he stared into the flames. She made a note to talk to Prescott another time about this but did not want to bring it up while everyone was around.  Kittree made her way over to the rope and lifted it up and began examinging it. "Ooohh this is so neat! it's like the lanterns on the walls." Kittree wrapped the rope around her arm and waved her hand at Serendipity then chuckled to herself. "This will be good if we are working late in the night. The flames are beautiful don't you think Prescott." Kittree asked curious to see how he would respond.
LOCATION : The Great Hall Date/Time : ?/?/?, 4 days after initiation WHO : Everyone Zara answered the Purified cleric. “My most immediate aim is to provide a haven where Cyran expatriates can live without fear of deprivation, exploitation, or at the mercy of their host. I have no ambition to build a nation in the borders of Thrane. The contract the Bracers have with the surrounding territories give them authority within their allotted lands. It is my belief that sheltering those fleeing from death itself is in alignment with the mission of the Bracers; and not only to give them the bare necessities, but to give them the chance to prosper. Today my title doesn’t mean anything except in the hearts of Cyrans who have followed me before. Eston is broken, its people scattered, and its streets overrun by zombies. I do have the ambition to liberate Cyre from the undead. Right now there is a scourge on the border of Throne, Breland, and Karrnath that will soon break free of Cyre’s limits. One day in the future the armies of old Galifar will march on the undead, either in Cyre or in defense of one of the other nations. On that day I want to see the banner of Cyre waving on the side of life in the battle against undeath. I hope, hearing all this, your concerns are allayed.”
LOCATION : The Great Hall Date/Time : ?/?/?, 4 days after initiation WHO : Zara, Prescott Prescott listened intently to Zara. When she had finished explaining her intentions he smiled and responded calmly and quietly "My only concern would have been the attempt of building a new nation within Thrane's borders, or any nation's borders for that matter, without providing for diplomatic engagement on the subject. This, in my opinion, could lead to unintentionally disastrous results." He straightened himself a bit "If you intend to reclaim your homeland from the undead menace, then I as a Servant of The Silver Flame, am practically obligated to assist you in this endeavor." Prescott smiled "Obligated is not the proper word. I would JOYFULLY serve that cause." He paused for a moment "As far as collection of refugees here, I understand your reasoning behind it. I believe I will meditate on the subject in the hope of guidance from The Silver Flame, as it may fall outside my tenets. Thank you for your frankness, may The Light of the Silver Flame guide you, Scholar of Aureon." Prescott bowed and left.

These people today, and tomorrow and the day after will need you to help them, there will always be people to save, and protect. It's what the strong do my friend. We protect, and give others the hope and life that we are so lucky to have. Now let's mediate and rest, we have a busy day tomorrow."

He heard the question asked of him by Kittree, distorted and far away, as if underwater. He pulled himself back to reality and looked up at her "Yes, most beautiful." Prescott looked around to the others "There's appropriate scripture regarding these; 'Ever burning fire, light my way through darkness' , I don't mean to bore most of you with that piece of information. Anyway..." Prescott smoothed his wild hair again "I'll go prepare for the day. May The Silver Flame light your way" he walked from the table "I seek your glory in The Fire".

LOCATION : The Great Hall Date/Time : ?/?/?, 5 days after initiation WHO : Zara, Prescott Prescott emerged from the residence hall. It had been a long night with little sleep. He found Zara and approached her. "Good morning, Marchioness Zara ir’Bonnert, I hope slept well." He gave a slight bow, his hair was wilder than usual, and his eyes hung heavy with sleep deprivation "I have meditated upon our recent conversation and have received an answer. It may require a bit of compromise, so please consider my request." Prescott seemed to suddenly realize his hair needed taming and attempted to fix it quickly "My participation may occur if a church to The Order of the Silver Flame is built as part of the project. My tenets, at the minimum, will require ministering to your people. I will be honest with you, as I believe we serve a similar purpose." Prescott inhaled deeply "Some stricter Orders of the Silver Flame would require conversion of some or all of the refugees. There are even unsavory elements that would force such conversions through unacceptable methods. I am not that man, I believe the enlightened will seek the truth. I simply require a church, built for The Order of the Silver Flame, in which I may minister to these people, and allow them to embrace The Light and convert, if they choose." Prescott looked at Zara "I don't expect you to have an immediate answer, you should think about this and speak to the other members about it. As always, may the Silver Flame guide you, scholar of Aureon." He bowed again left.

LOCATION : The Great Hall Date/Time : ?/?/?, 5 days after initiation WHO : Zara, Prescott Zara softly grabbed Prescott's arm. "If you have time now, I have your answer. I would have no problem, nor do I think any other member of our party would, with the erection of a Church to the Silver Flame. We may be away rather often, so you may want to write to your Order to see if a full-time priest can come to our settlement, or perhaps a layperson who is able to meet the needs of the congregation. We vassals of the Host will gladly integrate the Church into our community. However, I expect the Cyrans culture to be respected as we respect Thrane's culture. Persuasion is always welcome, but we will have to have another conversation if I see any coercion taking place." Zara extends her hand to the cleric. "Are we in agreement?"
LOCATION : The Great Hall Date/Time : ?/?/?, 5 days after initiation WHO : Zara, Prescott Prescott was surprised by the quickness of Zara's response, and he was certain it showed.  He gathered his composure "I would never consider coercion, I believe the message of The Silver Flame, as delivered by Tira Miron, to be all that is required to make true converts.  I thank you for your response to my request.  We are in agreement"  He shook Zara's hand with vigor "M ay the Silver Flame guide you, scholar of Aureon."
LOCATION : The Clearing Date/Time : ?/?/?, 7 or so days after initiation WHO : Serendipity, Kittree, Trea, Prescott, Allithea Prescott walked among the refugees not only offering aid, but encouraged them to attend a church service he had begun to organize the previous day. On the morning of Sul, Prescott arrived at the designated clearing and lit a fire. He meditated for a few moments, embraced the warm light of the fire growing before him. The heat, the enveloping warmth. He opened his eyes, took a step back from the fire and checked his vestments. No scorching, that's good. He sometimes forgot himself and would get too close, he'd caught fire more than once. This was not the time or place for such frivolity, he could not easily replace his vestments in a timely manner, and there would be questions. Prescott moved a safe distance from the seductive blaze and waited for people to arrive. It was a short while before he gathered some ten or twelve souls. Prescott began his sermon in a calm measured tone, he was a teacher now, imparting knowledge to those desiring it. "Good morning, may the light of The Silver Flame guide you. I am Prescott Albright, all of you know that, though. What, perhaps, some of you do not know is I am a Purified cleric of the Order of the Silver Flame. Today is Sul, the first day of the week, The Day of Cleansing Fire. A day of fasting and prayer." Prescott put on his best look of concern "I do not expect, nor want any of you to participate in fasting. You have recently been through a terrible ordeal, and still require mending. You need to eat, to stay strong and healthy so you can help the others, that require more healing than yourselves. As far as prayer, unless you are a member of The Church of the Silver Flame, today's devotion will seem foreign. If you are curious I will happily answer any and all questions either after this service, or anytime you see me. I will keep today's devotion brief, as we all have many tasks to tend to." No one had left yet, so Prescott felt pleased. He saw his fellow companions and smiled. "The main doctrine of the Tenet of Purity reads 'Burn the corruption and taint of evil from all Eberron. Other gods have begun the creation, but it is the Silver Flame, by searing wickedness and darkness from their imperfect world, that must complete it.'   The Order of the Silver Flame confronts evil in the world, that is our main objective. It is expected that, as followers we will do what we can to combat evil in all its forms. That's the important part 'we do what we can' . You aren't expected to, let's say, hunt down a vampire and destroy it. No one is asking you to put your life at risk. The Church simply asks you to fight evil, at the very least, by being a better person. If you defeat the corruption inside you, that's a victory. If you have more than you need, share a little with someone who doesn't have enough. If you have a skill, offer it voluntarily on occasion to someone who could benefit from it. If we cleanse corruption from ourselves, it frees us to help others, and in turn perhaps they follow suit. In time corruption, greed, and graft have no place in a community. That's how you purge evil from the world. The Order of the Silver Flame recognize the other gods and religions, we acknowledge and honor them for their contribution to the world. "We cannot hear the words of The Silver Flame directly, because we are flawed and not pure. During the Age of Demons a Paladin of Dol Arrah, Tira Miron, fought alongside a Great Couatl to fell the fiendish Overlord Bel Shanor beneath below where Flamekeep now stands. It was her sacrifice along with the couatls that opened the way for The Silver Flame to access our world. Tira Miron could understand The Silver Flame and became a prophet of The Church that heeds its word. It was the teachings of The Silver Flame, as spoken through Tira Miron, that provided the doctrine we follow today. "We will now recite The Nine Miracles of The Silver Flame. This is traditionally done in Draconic and goes dronilnrir mitne ekess wer treskri, siteli kothar, majak sepa ro putole Dolurrh, fehlim sunathear arcaniss, tonoparir mrith Tira Miron, thirkuir Thrane sari vi ioth thaczil, vivex svern kiveki, vivex persvek wer annyo aryte. For those unfamiliar with The Nine Miracles, or who do not speak Draconic The Nine Miracles of the Silver Flame are recited as bringing light to the world, imprisoning demons, offering souls an afterlife beyond Dolurrh, granting clerics magic, bonding with Tira Miron, transforming Thrane into a holy nation, victory over lycanthropes, victory in the Last War, and the promise of the end of evil, and the creation of a better world to come. "With that I will end for today, I'm happy to answer any questions anyone may have. If you think of something later, feel free to ask, I'll be making my rounds through the camp shortly." Prescott approached his friends with a broad smile "This was an unexpected surprise, thank you for coming".

LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 2nd day after the group's formation, only a few minutes before dawn. Who : Trea and Allithea <it's nice having someone to talk to in my native language. So much as common brings all of our races together, there is nothing better than the language of my native land> Trea had smiled and it made Thea feel glad, she had hoped to make him feel more comfortable by speaking in elvish rather than common after all! He'd stated that with just a little lift , the monk would be able to get to the roof of the small cabin with no problem, and the strong Allithea was more than happy to oblige.  "<It's not been long that I realised I could do good, I'm happy to help whenever I think I'm able to.>" Thea admitted, perhaps speaking on something more specific than she made out to... Ah but it was almost dawn, and the paladin of light wanted to share with Trea a little experience. The elf of course seemed to have his own plan though. As Thea lifted herself up onto the roof of the little cabin also Trea drew out his saw and with a handsome smile, spoke the words  <I think it is time we let the grace of the sun flow into this place! > in elvish Allithea brightly LAUGHED! "<Well I have absolutely NO problem with that idea!>" she assured him in a language the both of them cherished "<I don't know how our allies will feel about it however, and you may feel free to check with them first, but I would very much like to enjoy the rising sun with you.>" Allithea said, sobering only slightly, once more. "<I feel like it is almost time. You feel that, don't you?>" Thea looked out over the treetops, down the gentle slope of the land they were on, just past the rising trees to where she thought east must be. "<It's starting to get a little warm.>" The paladin sat atop the log cabin and crossed her legs, much as Trea often did whenever he meditated or entered a trance; Though Thea's arms were placed in a pose that was far from perfect, the paladin not an elf herself and having fought and lived in the human-populated Cyre, it was clear. Clear as day one would say, that Thea was taking up the same pose that eves did whenever they would enter their meditative Trance!  She closed her amber eyes, breathing the brisk morning in with no fear of cold or of darkness; as the sun began to rise after what felt like far too long. The first faint signs of the sunrise would appear over the horizon. The darkness would begin to melt away, the colour of day offering warmth as Trea and Thea - as they sat atop the cabin, would be two of the first living things in the haven of the Bracers to be washed with the light of day.  Allithea breathed it in, reveling in the sun's rays as her hair and armour became wreathed in the day's light, Thea happy to sit there for quite a while without saying a word. As it turned out, (After she'd retrieved a little yellow-tinged turtle from an inner pocket beneath her armour), that all Allithea had wanted Trea for was to share in the morning with him. He could cut a hole in the cabin's roof, the paladin of sunlight would not stop him! But really, all she'd wanted was to greet the morning as she always had, this time perhaps? With a friend.
LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 4th week after the group's formation, early morning Who : Serendipity, Allithea  It was after her morning devotion, Thea having greeted the sun and praised silently her goddess, Dol Arrah. She would continue to greet the morning with the Sand Elf if Trea was happy to do so, Allithea seeming her happiest when the light of the sun BROKE over the horizon and banished the darkness, like a perfect show of the might of the gods and the hope for a new day with each moment they worked to help the less fortunate people from Cyre... but that morning Thea looked troubled.  The meditation had gone well enough, Thea and her pet turtle soaking up the sun's rays with thanks and appreciation but, as the paladin returned to the main floor of their base, she looked troubled... With worried eyes Allithea went to find her sister, it still being quite early so she believed Serendipity might be resting; though of course she did not think for a moment that her little sister would hold it against her if Allithea woke her. Having tried to keep her worries to herself, at least until having the chance to speak with Serendipity for her opinion, Allithea knocked gently as she was able on the bedroom door before entering Serendipity's room. "Heey." It was a simple word, but Serendipity knew Thea better than anyone else, probably already feeling her big sister's worries even though only one word was said; Thea sat beside her little sis where she'd been trying to sleep, fussing over the younger lady as she brushed the hair colour they shared out of Serendipity's pretty face. Truth be told, Thea had to struggle against herself not to baby Seren from time to time, not wanting her sister to be coddled but wanting terribly to just- keep everything from harming her, knowing it was impossible but all the same wanting to try! "Sis, I've been kinda... Thinking. Crazy I know." She joked, her expression warm despite the troubled thoughts she housed.  "So, we've been with these junior Bracers for a little while, and I really like well, everyone! They seem great, and we, all of us, we seem to be getting along, right?" Allithea would wait for her sister to respond, wanting her opinion and wanting to make sure that Serendipity was, indeed, awake for the conversation. Thea despite her patience, was not interested in talking to herself; not right then. Allithea wanted to find a solution to whatever it was she was currently verbally getting to.  "I like them, and Host help me, whether it's wise or not-" she shrugged those tall shoulders of hers "I trust them." At that Thea let out a huff. She looked at the floor of the room her sister chose, her arms at her sides and her pose most un-lady like where she sat on the very edge of her sister's bed, not wanting to actually invade her space. The two of them had usually shared a room when they travelled, but since coming to that base Seren had voiced her desire to keep her own space. Allithea didn't mind! It was just, she may have missed her sister a bit more because of all the work everyone had been diligently doing and so the small bit of distance, it had seemed greater... Perhaps Allithea was overthinking it! "So, they might also trust me, and so for a few days I've been thinking...No, I decided. I will tell everyone today." She nodded to herself and turned to her sister again. Serendipity would see that the bright smile of Allithea was not faded, no matter what she spoke about, her shining optimism was nearly impossible to squash. Despite circumstances! She could understand that there was pain, that there were those who needed their help desperately  and that darkness was still hiding in the corners of the world, without letting it swallow her up whole.  "I'm going to let everyone know that I'm not human, I don't think I owe it to them or whatever, but I want to. Even if it's our right to keep that to ourselves, I want to be completely up front with them all. What if they think I don't trust em because of this, that would be awful, you know?" She smiled. "But don't worry," Thea grinned wide, a big goofy smile that her sister would have seen many times before! "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to, kiddo!" Allithea reached out then and with a heavy gauntlet, ruffled her little sister's beautiful and silky hair, making Serendipity look even MORE cute than she usually did, since her big sister had messed up her hair!  "It's not like whole generations get affected! It could be easy to believe that You're still human, even though I'm not. It's up to you, I won't be taking the decision away from you; Just think about it a little bit, maybe?" Thea would let out a breath, seeming relieved that after a few days of deliberation, speaking with Serendipity had helped the older sister to make up her own mind on the delicate matter. "You tell me what you decide, and I'll let the others know the truth - at least about me. I won't want to prolong this any more though, I'll tell our new allies when everyone is awake, alright lil sis?"  There was absolute trust in Serendipity, Thea never once questioning the younger of the two and always staying near her the paladin always putting herself in front of anything that would threaten her sister, even before awakening into her true powers. Allithea would do just about anything for the younger Seren, even if the two sisters didn't always agree on absolutely everything. They could always come to terms and respect each other, and for Allithea? That was more important than anything that might have between other siblings brought malice or caused squabbles.
LOCATION: Base Date/Time: ??? , after the introductions and tour of the base Who: Trea & Kit Kit blushed again when Trea wiped the tears from her face. His words sank into her like a soothing song and she sighed deeply and smiled. Trea what right Kittree did now and moving forward was what was important and she was determined to do everything in her power to assist the refugees and her friends. Kittree smiled brightly while wiping away that last bit of her tears. She wrapped her arms around Trea shoulders and held him in a tight embrace as she often did with many of her friends, the only difference being the thumping of her heartbeat quickening when she did so. "Thank you Trea. I'm really happy you are here." She reluctantly withdrew from the hug and smiled warmly at Trea before taking her meditation position next to him. She took a deep breath to relax and let her mind fall into the void of relaxation and understanding. Resting up her body for the coming long work-filled days.

LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 3rd week after the group's formation, early morning Who : Kittree Kittree woke up at her usual time. Early in the morning before dawn and began to prepare the morning meal for everyone. During the past few weeks, Kittree had developed a routine to best optimize her skills in assisting her friends and the refugees. And the start of her day consisted of making breakfast for everyone. During the process of making food Kittree had burnt her hands a few times not paying attention to how close she was to the fire. This lack of focus came from the exhaustion she began to feel from her constant days of work. The nighttime meditations with Trea helped to fend off the full weight of her exhaustion but now on the 3rd week of her full day's work she began to feel the exhaustion set in. Kittree shook her head and smack the sides of her cheeks with her two hands to wake herself up. "Come on Kittree! Snap out of it. You have a full day ahead and people are counting on you!" she said to herself then finished up making breakfast. She set up a few plates of food and began to walk to everyone's door knocking on it loudly "Time to get up breakfast is ready!" After making her rounds she made her way to Allithea room but as always she wasn't there. She had already been awake meditating with Trea. Kittree sighed deeply and began to walk towards where she knew Allithea and Trea would be. Although the little halfling had been alive for many years she was unfamiliar with the feeling of jealousy but knew that it was what she was feeling. Allithea and Trea had spent every morning together since the second day they made it to the base. It made sense to Kittree, they were both from the Elvish nation so it must have been nice being able to talk to someone in their language and the meditation did help. But the logical side of Kittree was not the side that was feeling this unfamiliar emotion. This made her feel extremely guilty. She loved Allithea very much and feeling anything at all negative towards her no matter how small made Kittree feel like a terrible person.  Kittree found Allithea and Trea meditating under the sunlight and took one more deep sigh before smiling half-heartedly to hide her exhaustion and the twisted feeling in her stomach "Good Morning Big Red! Trea! Sorry to interrupt you two but I just wanted you both to know that breakfast is ready before I headed out to start my day." Kittree walked over and picked up Solaire always happy to see his little face in the moring. "Morning Solaire. Hows my favorite little turtle," she said then gave a little kiss on top of Solaire head before placing her gently back down. Kittree looked back towards Trea and Allithea " I'll see you at the clearing" Kittree waved at both of them before turning away and heading towards the trail that leads to the every expanding campsite for the refugees. When she made her way to the clearing she greeted many of the refugees that she had gotten to know throughout the weeks. Strangely though she noticed the past week some of the people that would usually greet her in the morning seem to be missing. "Maybe they are getting an earlier start." Kit thought. She made a note to mention it to her companions if it continued. Kittree made her way to her first task. Tending to the fields. She checked to make sure the harvest was growing in properly and planted more as she helped the new farmers that started to work the fields as well. After tending to the fields she assisted Prescott and Allithea with any sick refugees using natural herb remedies and her magic to heal any wounds or sickness she could. Then during the afternoon, she would assist Trea and the refugees with making the housing. Using different wild shapes to help with any heavy lifting or any other assistance needed. Late in the afternoon, Kittree would often meet up with Serendipity and they would play music to help lift the spirits of the newer refugees that made their way to the camp and properly greet them. In the evening Kittree would make her way back to the keep and continue excavating the tunnels in the base. By now she was able to clear out one of the tunnels and worked diligently the rest of the night to clear the other tunnels. After she pushed herself past the point of exhaustion Kittree made her way back to the entrance of the tunnel she was working on and slumped to the ground. She leaned her body against the wall and sighed smiling to herself. Feeling accomplished that she was able to achieve a lot today. But also feeling her body ache for rest and relaxation. She looked over towards Trea's door as if her body as telling her this would be a good time for meditation and rest. But her mind thought about the feeling she felt earlier in the morning. At that moment Kittree still felt too guilty to meditate with Trea so she closed her eyes where she was and tried her best to meditate on the hall floor by herself.
LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 2 weeks after the group's formation, evening WHO : Allithea, Kittree The wind was knocked out of Kit when Allithea gave Kittree her signature bear hug. " You give the best hugs" Kit said chuckling out of breath. "Of course can't have a celebration without good food and fine wine!" Kittree noticed Allithea serious look and she tilted her head as Allithea asked her opinion about their new companions. Well new for Allithea. Kittree giggled when Allithea spun her around. When Allithea seemed to try to change the subject Kittree smiled "Yes I spent time with all of them. From my experience, they are all wonderful people who have open their arms to me and let me into their lives. Even Stain" Kittree chuckled "They have all taught me something. In these difficult times, it's good to find people to trust and to lean on when you need help. I trust them and I feel like the more you get to know them you will trust them to." Kittree placed her hands gently on Allithea cheeks. "I really hope for a day where you feel like you don't have the hide such a beautiful part of you. Who you really are. The person you hide behind this kind human face. Beautiful scarlet angel." Kittree kissed Allithea on the forhead and smiled warmly at her. "Ok! let's go find Duncan to see if he will get up some supplies for a future celebration!" Kittree said excitingly

LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 2 weeks after the group's formation, evening WHO : Kittree, Allithea "The best hugs? I'll wear my title with pride!" the paladin said - choosing to be a little silly. She would give Kit another tight hug, just for the complement, then letting Kit ride on her shoulders or her back and lifted her gauntlets in a way that said 'I, am a bear!'  Kit was a long-lost sibling as far as she was concerned, and Thea did her best to entertain him. It was good that Kit had travelled, Allithea believed also that everyone one came across had a lesson to teach, but she had missed Kit; It was good -she thought- that they now had the chance to be living together. When Kit next spoke Thea turned with a "Hm?", ready to say "I do trust th-" just as the halfling's little hands were placed on her cheeks. "I, I do trust them." She assured, smiling so that her cheeks puffed under Kit's tender hands "I do! I'm so happy that I've met all your friends now, and more  that we're all working so well together! Getting all this help and making a difference for people. Heheh, I couldn't be MORE proud. I get to pitch in a little bit, with everyone here, it's wonderful." she promised, with complete honesty. "I really hope for a day where you feel like you don't have the hide such a beautiful part of you. Who you really are. The person you hide behind this kind human face. Beautiful scarlet angel."  Oh, kind words. It brought warmth to her face and a pretty red to Allithea's cheeks, the woman taking Kit's words in seriously.  "Yes, I think I should start getting a little bit organised... Maybe you'd be so kind as to walk me to the town and back again..." _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 3rd week after the group's formation, night time Who : Kittree, Allithea "Kit?" Thea had been moving some of the bigger pieces of ruined furniture from one of the furthers away rooms, not knowing that Kit had been excavating the tunnels on the main floor in the mean time, having thought that the druid was resting already! "What are you doing sitting out here on the floor kiddo." Her fiery eyes focused on the burns Kit had speckled across his fingers and palms then, the tired look he was wearing, posing as though she was going to be able to meditate in her exhausted state!!! "Kit your hands." Thea sighed, irritated with the halfling for not asking for help before, bending down to the ground (without waiting for permission!) and taking Kit's hands in hers slowly. As her gauntlets grew warm with the flow of divine magic, Thea's amber eyes were frowning right at Kit.  "What's wrong?" the tall warrior asked, a simple braid falling forward since she had practically sat down herself, not quite the same height with the little Kit while he was seated. "And don't say "nothing". " Allithea said in a more serious tone, one which would not accept having her allies' needs being deflected when Kit was hurt, and exhausted...

LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 3rd week after the group's formation, morning WHO : Allithea, Prescott, Manneo, Zara, Stain, Kittree, Trea, Serendipity Prescott shuffled from the residence hall towards the table where his friends were gathering for the morning meal. "Good morning, friends, I have created two more magical flaming ropes.  Well, one rope and one symbol of Dol Arrah, which had been requested" He placed the length of fiery cord on the table. The magical fire danced and shifted before him. Prescott stared for a brief moment, then attempted to fix his wild hair in a startled manner.  He then slid the fiery symbol of Dol Arrah toward Allithea. "I located the holy symbol in Sharavacion, I hope it's acceptable.  I realize it's possible your own symbol may have sentimental value, which would have made it difficult to part with for the enchantment process, or perhaps this new symbol may be considered an intruder upon your beliefs"  Prescott smiled and shrugged "After some contemplation I decided to take the chance."  Allithea approached him happily  "...Thank you very much Prescott" she said as he was engulfed in a friendly hug, her gauntlets clasping against his back.  Prescott winced and inhaled sharply, breathing easily when Allithea released him.  He smiled  "You are most welcome".  He addressed the group "I don't believe I've mentioned this, but I do enjoy our morning meal together; and thank you Kittree, for keeping us nourished." Prescott mumbled under his breath "May the Silver Flame light our way, I seek your glory in The Fire".

LOCATION : On the way back to the base from the village of new Cyre Date/Time : ?/?/?, 5 days after the group's formation, evening WHO : Allithea, Prescott Though Allithea and Prescott had found themselves walking back after dark, at Prescott's guidance, the two were able to make it back without further worry. Thea would spend pretty much the whole way apologising of course, not accepting her fumble after nearly a week of walking the same way through the forest. "Really," she'd say "I'm so so sorry, I just- I find it hard to find my way through this forest!" The paladin assured Prescott, occasionally glancing again at his ever flaming rope. The red light of the flame was reflecting off of the amber eyes of the tall woman, her grin at the continual flame showing how she quite liked the fire. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 6 days after the group's formation, morning WHO : Allithea, Prescott, Manneo, Zara, Stain, Kittree, Trea, Serendipity The next day as Prescott had presented two continually flaming ropes upon the common room table, the enthusiasm from Kittree was as adorable for Allithea as ever, the woman laughing at the halfling who jumped up onto the table without a thought and spoke ever so cheerfully.  "I agree, the ropes look pretty cool." She said casually, Kit having already said something akin to the statement, Prescott agreeing that it was "most beautiful" as he seemed to get lost in the dance of the fire. "There's appropriate scripture regarding these; 'Ever burning fire, light my way through darkness', I don't mean to bore most of you with that piece of information. Anyway..." Prescott smoothed his wild hair and was grumbling something when Allithea frowned lightly to him.  "Oh come on, don't apologise!" She urged "I don't think it's boring, I like to hear what I can about the Silver Flame" said the faithful follower of the goddess, Dol Arrah. She'd clap Prescott on the back and look to Kit who had climbed up on the table, smiling as warmly as she usually did. "I think a few of us could find a use for this. Prescott, do you think you could make more? Are they very expensive?" Allithea said to the Cleric. "We could each wear a sign of this flame, we're united, after all? A pendant shaped like the sun with this flame would be very useful to me, and I think Trea would like one too!" She laughed. "It might be nice, for us all to be united by such a common symbol. Or, does that sound somewhat silly to you?" Allithea asked for the others' opinion, looking about the room at those present.  __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ LOCATION : Base Date/Time : ?/?/?, 3rd week after the group's formation, morning WHO : Allithea, Prescott, Manneo, Zara, Stain, Kittree, Trea, Serendipity A fighter as active in her work as the red-haired warrior of the sun, didn't need to be told to gather for food twice. Once Kit found Allithea and mentioned that food was going to be served the Paladin wasted no time in scooping up Solaire and heading for the large common room where the trainee Bracers always gathered up, the turtle could have some of the vegetables they would be eating anyway! Allithea was thinking about what food Kit had kindly prepared for everyone that day, trying not to dwell on the burned supplies she had tried to cook in secret once in order to give Kit a break. After nearly setting the base on fire in the early hours before dawn, the sun paladin had quietly sworn to never attempt to cook any more.  "Good morning, friends, I have created two more magical flaming ropes. Well, one rope and one symbol of Dol Arrah, which had been requested"  Prescott had said as he himself approached the table, placing down the items he had created and it just, put a SMILE on Allithea's face! He stared at the flames but the red-haired woman had looked from him, to the symbol and back at him again.  "I located the holy symbol in Sharavacion, I hope it's acceptable."  The Cleric fretted over the symbol being offensive in some way, but the fact was that Allithea loved it. "Oh you've made me happy!" Thea stated, placing the pendant around her neck and looking at it a moment, flames that did not burn surrounding the emblem of the sun. Ah, she loved it. It just reminded the warrior of the rising sun and of the tenants she'd sworn to uphold, the embers dancing against amber irises in an enchanting way, fire suiting the paladin dressed in red! "This, is something I will cherish, honestly. Thank you very much Prescott!" The paladin reached out and put the cleric of a different faith, in a very friendly hug. Her gauntlets clasped his back briefly before the older Tromeri sister would pull away once again, dressed in a beaming smile that suited her just  as much as the continually burning pendant in which she was now adorned!
LOCATION : The Clearing Date/Time : ?/?/?, 7 or so days after initiation WHO : Serendipity, Kittree, Trea, Prescott, Allithea The tall woman had crossed her arms as the small part of their group had happened across the Silver Flame priest's sermon, Allithea listening in intrigue as Prescott spoke with PASSION about his beliefs, bearing what he saw as truth to the people in this, the little new Cyre. She'd stand with a smile pointed his direction as her eyebrows were raised up towards that bright long red hair.  "Hello! I didn't realised you were speaking today?" She laughed, a rich sort of chiming sound from the cheery woman.  "I didn't know that this was a fasting day for the Silver Flame, cool huh?" Allithea asked her sister, who had always been more curious over the lore pertaining to the religion, rather than the way of living it from day-to-day. But that was no matter to Allithea, the two sisters always able to have in-depth discussions on their different faiths in a way that was most respectful and friendly. But she would turn back to Prescott. "I don't know if you've had the chance to talk to followers of the Host much Prescott, but you and I actually have several tenants in common; "Burn the corruption and taint of evil from all Eberron."? That is something that as a paladin, I strive for." She wore a beaming smile that was not exactly 'zealous', as it was more apt to call it warm, passionate!   "Banishing darkness? Confronting evil? Bettering yourself? Cleansing corruption?" Thea once more laughed with joy, she was rather happy to have caught the talk from Prescott! "You are practically reading my Paladin oaths you know. It is interesting though, as you have brought up Tira Miron also. The paladin is a topic of discussion for me and Serendipity quite often." She smirked "Better discussed with a hot meal though, I reckon! It doesn't do for us to be standing on empty stomachs. Come on." Allithea waved to Prescott and the others  "We were going to distribute food anyway, why don't we do it while we talk? It might get some of the people more comfortable talking about their own ideas and faiths with us also, I think it can sometimes be a topic that people, find difficult talking to me over... It's the tabard." Allithea smiled wide, aware of her self and of how many people saw clerics or Paladins. There were extremes to any one thing, she thought, and it was important for her to stay well anchored and remember, well; "The best way to show others what you believe, is to first follow your own words yourself. Do you agree my good cleric?" Thea asked, curious over The silver flame cleric's thoughts, rather than feeling judgemental or any other such petty emotions; the servant of Dol Arrah believed that there was room for understanding for the honest beliefs of all.

When she arrived she greeted the survivors and looked for Manneo and Trea. Zara brought Stephen a leather ball she created with her magic. “Stephen I have a present for you.” She placed the ball on the ground and kicked it toward him. “Mommy is going to be busy for a long time. Go play with some of the other children here.” Stephen smiled and quickly said, “Thanks mommy!” and then ran off, kicking the ball. The wizard looked to Gerta and said, “It’s important he blend in with the other children. If you see anything improper happening come get me, I’ll be here.” After she found her two compatriots, she spoke to both of them. “So it’s up to us to get this settlement built. Thank you Manneo for your and Cole’s efforts to fell the trees. I’ve been processing the logs into planks and I turned some of the iron I bought in town into brackets and nails. Trea has started erecting buildings with the help of some of the villagers. What I’d like to do is make us more efficient. Trea, I’ve been turning the logs into 10 foot long planks but I see you and the others often have to cut the planks shorter, and from time to time you may want planks that are longer. What I’d like to do is design a standard housing unit that we will build repeatedly so that I can create planks of specific lengths in a specific proportion. The house doesn’t have to be able to withstand hell or high water, but I’d like it to be sturdy enough to last the seasons. Would the two of you help me mark up a blueprint?” [Barring anyone’s refusal, the three will spend some hours developing the blueprint. I assume Manneo will draw the sketch on some of Zara’s parchment.] After the three of them had finished their task Zara exhaled a sigh of relief. “Thank you for the help with this my friends.” Both of them started to move to go to their tasks, but Zara interuptted the goliath. “Manneo, if you have time I’d like to make a request. I need help planning for this camp. I have some knowledge of how to do things but it is no match for your technical expertise. If you can meet me here for an hour or two a day to help me make sure we are doing everything correctly I’d appreciate it. Does after lunch work for you?”
LOCATION : Camp Date/Time : ?/?/?, 2nd through 4th week after the group's formation WHO : Prescott Prescott spent his time among the refugees feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and ministering to the suffering. He spent hours conversing with the Cyrans, getting to know them individually as people. This was how he handled his duties as a City Guard in Flamekeep. The friendly conversations that took place over days or weeks, that were really slow interrogations. There was no criminal activity to root out here, no informants to recruit; just backgrounds to learn, and moral codes to measure. A week passed and he had found three men and three women that met his standards to patrol the refugee camp. He took time out of his already full schedule to train them and teach them the finer points of police work. Aziz Youcef, Amin Khalif, Bertram LeGroix, Rachel Baro, Irene Laurisden, and Malene Wulf were taught how to watch people, how to talk to them, how to defend against their attacks, and how to take them into custody. Prescott trained the new recruits with emphasis to do all these things with the least amount of disruption to the community they served. Prescott also located a priest errant who had been attached to an Order of Friars from Metrol. His name was Hugh Feld, and he had traveled from Metrol to the smaller surrounding towns to minister to those outside The City. He wasn't a zealot, and had a working knowledge of the tenets. Prescott felt comfortable leaving the everyday ministering to Hugh, and began to let him assist, and then take over many of those duties. He slowly let Hugh grow into his own, always watching from afar. Prescott was pleased with this development, and he was certain Zara would be pleased also; it was the head of his order, Sir Tycho Borel, he had concerns about.

LOCATION : Aruldusk Date/Time : 4th of Aryth approximately 7:45 PM WHO : Prescott The church was a subtle piece of architecture, compared to The Grand Cathedral in Flamekeep, but it had all the required trappings. Prescott discovered one unfortunate thing, however, the Silverburn Flame was elevated in a great polished brazier. He preferred The Great Fire to be at floor level, where worshipers could feel it's radiance. Prescott sighed, and found a quiet spot, where he kneeled on the stone floor.  He mumbled under his breath repeatedly "dronilnrir mitne ekess wer treskri, siteli kothar, majak sepa ro putole Dolurrh, fehlim sunathear arcaniss, tonoparir mrith Tira Miron, thirkuir Thrane sari vi ioth thaczil, vivex svern kiveki, vivex persvek wer annyo aryte" . Prescott was ravaged by guilt. This was a charade. This disgusted him, the empty words. He needed to stare into the fire, listen to it's sweet song. Tonight he would repent for this blasphemous action. A tear rolled down his cheek through tightly clenched eyes. "Excuse me Sir" it was the Priest "I'm sorry to interrupt your devotion, but you've been at it for some time now. The arrangements for your lodging have been made at The Inn of the Burning Candles. You've been registered as The Pilgrim and Company." Prescott nodded acknowledgment as he finished muttering the final lines of his prayer. He then stood, and turned to face the Priest giving a slight bow and quietly responding "Thank you, Father. May The Silver Flame guide your way". Prescott walked past the Priest to find his companions "I seek your glory in The Fire".

She might remember him as Puff , the small companion of Nala Delmirev , with whom she had previously met at the library. Wrapped up by Puff's tail is a small letter, addressed to Zara . It reads; My dear friend Zara, Hello! This is Nala , though I'm quite positive you have already figured that out. I was writing to tell you that I have managed to find a few interesting friends in Taer Valestas . Included is one gargoyle named Lupin - truly an incredible being! The craftsmanship is astounding! You would also enjoy his company - he is a kindred soul, and we've exchanged a few books. I have learned that he is searching for information about golems; their creation, their strengths and weaknesses, etc. I told him that I would ask a few friends if they had any information, or at least knew where to get it, hence this letter. Please do not trouble yourself, but if you know anything off the top of your head then it would be greatly appreciated. Puff will wait for your response unless you tell him otherwise. Thank you in advance. Also, please do tell me what you've been up to these days! I'm on my way to a small city to overthrow a cultist, and I might stick around with this group of people for a while. I could use some time socializing!  Best of wishes, Nala Delmirev

LOCATION : Aruldusk Date/Time : 4th of Aryth approximately 6:30 PM WHO : Zara, Puff Zara was pleasantly surprised when a pseudodragon poofed into view while she was enjoying a glass of wine at the same cafe she had been all day. The wizard noticed a letter on the tail, opened the letter and read it. When Zara read that Nala was in Taer Valestas she nearly fell out of her chair. Zara quickly took out her pack of supplies and got the attention of the waiter. “Excuse me dear, I need a light.” , as she held a red candle out to him. The waiter looked confused but he brought back another candle and lit Zara’s. As the candle melted and wax built up, the wizard wrote two letters and wrapped each of them in an envelope. On one envelope was written Nala/Lupin while on the other was only a wax print of the seal of House ir’Bonnert. First Letter: Dear Nala, Thank you for sending Puff to brighten my day with his presence and your words. I’m glad to hear you are finding a place for yourself in the world. It would be interesting to meet this Lupin; I’ve only ever read of gargoyles. The most common book that I have read about golems is 'Arcane Constructs: Golems in the World' which gives a very simple overview of what golems are, how they are made in the most basic terms, and different varieties of them. If Lupin would like to learn about their creation with any specificity he would need to gain access to the libraries of the Magus Society. There he could gain access to Aesefeus’s volumes, 'Principles of Golemancy V I-IX'. That is as far as I have read on the topic. Additionally, if you come across an artificer they may know a thing or two about a golem’s strengths and weaknesses. House Cannith in Eston had been tinkering with golems for some time. [Arcana Roll 19] As for me, two months ago I was evicted from my home by the Day of Mourning. I was separated from my eldest son and husband, watched my daughter die to some ghoul, and escaped with my other son. I have found myself a group of other capable survivors along with some of my countrymen. Right now I am trying to set up a safe haven for other refugees of Western Cyre. It is hard work, but it is revitalizing to put my effort into fixing what went wrong on that fateful day. You would be doing Cyre a great if you can please hand my other letter to an officer of the military in Taer Valestas or a guard captain and tell them it is from the family of the Duke of Eston. The letter bears the mark of my house. I’m overjoyed to hear you are safe and in good company. Should you ever require any more book recommendations you know who to write. Once again, please hand the other letter to a Cyran official, it is of vital importance. Best Regards, Zara ir’Bonnert Second Letter: To the King of Cyre, or any of his loyal officials, This letter comes to you from the other side of the disaster that has scarred our nation. If you have not yet heard news, the great city of Eston has fallen as well as Kalazart. They are claimed by the forces of undeath. Scores of survivors wander Breland and Thrane in the hope of food, water, and shelter. Myself and some very capable warriors are trying to establish a settlement for refugees near a small town in Thrane called Sharavacion. I’m not sure what aid you can render from Taer Valestas in our plight, perhaps an agent of yours can visit us to give you a full report. Right now we are still licking our wounds but once we have regained our strength we will strike back at the undead. We are cooperating with our host nation, Thrane, with the hope that they will continue treating us with humanity and that they may one day journey south to aid us in our crusade. If you have any directions or orders for us please contact us as you can. For the glory of Cyre. Marchioness Zara ir’Bonnert of Eston Zara stamped her signet ring in the red wax and placed it near her name at the bottom of the second letter. After the seal dried the scholar rolled up both letters and placed them on Puff's tail. The pseudodragon coiled its tail close to its body and blinked twice at Zara. She thought she saw a smile cross the fey creatures mouth before it blinked away. The theurgist gathered up her things and went off to find her comrades.
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of Burning Candles Date/Time : 4th of Aryth, 7:58 PM WHO : Everyone It was getting later and Zara hadn’t found any of her comrades. The wizard took out the flaming rope Prescott had given her back at the Bracers headquarters and she began to swing it as she walked. Eventually she was accosted by Trea who had come to collect her and bring her to the nn where the party was staying. In the Inn of the Burning Candles Zara found the rest of her band in one of the rooms that had been rented for the party, apparently. The theurgist’s compatriots hailed her and she reported her findings. “So I spent my afternoon at a cafe outside of the council building, nearby the home of the Father. I didn’t see much of interest truthfully; some council members coming and going, guards passing by, commoners going about their business. However, an old friend of ours paid me a visit. Kowolski had a drink with me and he talked to me about an interesting possibility. If we were to pose as potential buyers that wanted to purchase a significant number of slaves we would be able to get an audience with the Father himself. Kowolski has offered that he can put in a good word for us and to help us in taking out the Don. However, Baby Legs wants to take over the operation with the promise that he leave the refugees alone while continue to oversee the criminal organization the Father built. Sometimes you can trust a rogue to pursue his own best interest; perhaps Baby Legs would help us. However, I am not in favor of letting this organization continue to exist. If the community we are building near Sharavacion is to become a part of Thrane’s society then I think it would be a token of good will to remove this source of corruption from their polity. Does anyone have anything to report of their findings, or have recommendations on how we should proceed?”

"I spoke with my contact and learned the guard captain, Gizel Godwin isn't necessarily corrupt. It seems our crimelord is holding something over him. If we can simply free Captain Godwin from this restraint, we have a useful ally. We can speak with him tomorrow to see what assistance we can offer.  I'm hopeful Captain Godwin can provide additional information concerning other members of the city guard, and maybe some members of the city council."

As Prescott finished began to share his side of what was gathered.  "Well, I guess I should share some information now. Kittree, Trea, and I went to the records building. I wanted to see if there was any public records kept that can prove that The Father has been bribing, or funding the campaigns of the council." Stain turned to Prescott, "I learned that your church has funded the funded Captain Godwin's campaign. I'm not sure if that means anything to you, I'd just though you'd like to know." Stain turned back towards the rest of the group. "As for the funding of the council, there were no public records available for me. Either the Father donated under the donation threshold, or paid them under the table, so to say." Stain began to flip through his notes as he tried to find the names he needed to share. "The clerk suggested to look under properties bought, to see if there's any strange dealings going on their. I got information on our good friend 'Baby Legs'," Stain paused as he suppressed a giggle, " He seemed to buy properties across the city. Couldn't get any information on which ones, being private and all, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing this information the next time we see him." Stained turned a page and glanced over it real quick. " There was also information on these Kluski fellows buying warehouses on 'Seafront' property, although I sure that's a clerk error, and they meant riverfront. There was also information on them buying similar properties over an 'Eston'. I'm not too familiar with that city if anyone has information on that." Stain turned his journal to a blank page and waited for the rest of the information to be shared.

I know, I can use magic to move things around! I feel like it would bring in some income, maybe even pay for our um, room fees.  She put a finger to her lip in contemplation. "I feel like working with Babylegs might work. We can always give him the business, and then arrest him afterwards like you said, Zara. And if you need to Prescott, you can be a lookout while we do the deal, or. . .what does Babylegs want us to do exactly? Tripping on her own thoughts, she fell silent for a moment before speaking again. "And you said we could help the captain of the guard? That would be great! Maybe that should be our first step, since we actually can't do anything until they lose their protection."

Some of the ideas had merit, while others did not sit well with the Goliath. Not necessarily for ethical reasons, but rather because the plans seemed dubious and error prone at best. "Ms. ir'Bonnert... Zara... we've known each other for a while now and you know that I am not one to mince words. Your plan sounds atrocious to me."  Manneo stood from his sit as he began to speak, slightly pacing on his side of the table while sharing his thoughts. His pacing was not in a menacing or aggressive way by any means, but more of a casual stroll. Manneo never felt comfortable being completely stationary while at thought or addressing a room, the movement of his body taking up some of the excess brain power to keep him on track and avoid tangents of too winding a route. "We are dealing with, from what we can tell, an incredibly well connected and well entrenched society. Regardless of their nefarious actions, their is a status quo evolved around their continued actions in this region. Furthermore, making plans with one duplicitous individual who stole our countrymen in the first place to combat another duplicitous individual who we do not have much information about... then throwing in the idea of double crossing whoever comes out of it?"  Manneo's brow began to furrow a bit, as he raised one hand briefly against his head, his fingertips against either side of the bridge of his nose. "Scheming, double-crossing, and generally seedy behavior is literally what these men and their associates do for a living. Do you really believe that we have any chance of beating them at their own game on their own turf?" Manneo's voice had risen slightly, mild frustration coming through in his tone. Manneo was not one for scheming and looking at the room around him, he didn't know how many of the others were up to such a task either. He looked over at Zara, and for a moment felt a sense of unease. With each action, the noble woman appeared to be acting in line with her own choices first and informing the party after events were set in motion. First with the invitation of many to the settlement, now with the meeting and initial planning with the insufferable dwarf. Maybe he did not know her as well as he thought over all of those years in Eston. Or maybe the tragedy she felt on that fateful day changed her forever. Manneo would just have to wait and see how she progressed. He began to speak once again, after having taken a moment to recollect himself, regaining a firm but reasonable tone. "Our biggest weakness coming into this is our lack of knowledge. We do not know the extent of the operations runs by this 'Boss', or the length of his reach over those in this community and others."  Manneo turned to the flame-enthused cleric. "As Prescott mentioned, it appears as though something is being held over the Guard Captain to force his cooperation. Seeking out what this may be could help us greatly. Prescott: Do you believe it possible to speak with this Captain as an emissary of the Church of the Silver Flame in the hopes of gathering any information possible about what binds him. I presume he will not be able to speak freely, but any hints could be of great assistance." Manneo then turned and gestured towards Stain. "The organization obviously isn't running a charity, so any means of tracking the flow of currency is a lead worth pursuing in my mind. Perhaps this money from the church could be a talking point for Prescott with Captain Godwin - a missionary sent to this town from Flamekeep to make note of how money is being spent by the Silver Flame in accordance with its greater goals."  Manneo thought back on the other pieces of information that had been unearthed by the Tabaxi at the Records Hall. "Zara and I both hail from Eston, but with the city in shambles, it may be hard to follow any leads along that line. It is interesting that the Kluski individuals you mentioned ran into Allithea and Serendipity, however. Maybe it is worth trying to meet with them on a more formal basis." "As for what I have been up to since we arrived in this city, I made my way to the library. I believe that information will be an invaluable tool in addressing the matters that lie before us, so I found some details about our new surroundings." Manneo paused as he began to rummage through his bag until he pulled out some poorly folded pieces of parchment. The first two he pulled out were with respect to other areas of research, but eventually he found the papers of interest. "So as we've more or less established, the city is run - at least in theory - by the Council, with input from the head of the merchants and the guard captain, in addition to the church unofficially, albeit with less sway in recent years." Manneo took a moment to squint at his parchment. He always wrote smaller than he should in an attempt to get more use out of each page, but the small text combined with wrinkles in the paper from his poor organization occasionally strained his vision. He decoded his own script and continued reading his notes to the others. "There was also information about Council elections, and while most things seem on the up-and-up, there was one that stood out as peculiar. In the elections 10 years ago, a man by the name of Salvatore won in a landslide victory after being mainly an unknown figure in the race. When I tried to follow up with some others at the library about these findings, and there appears to be some controversy surrounding this, though no additional mention or concern ever came up in the texts I was reading. It also appeared that after this election is when several policies of the city began to adjust - mainly focusing their trade on import over internal supply and development. In line with other events, the voice of the Merchant's Guild seemed to diminish around this same time." Manneo replaced the scribbled notes back into his bag and returned his eyes to the others in the room, having not lifted his gaze from the paper at all while reading from it. "It seems in my opinion that our best possible sources of information are from those that seem to be the most displaced by the current system. As I said before, the Guard Captain may be of interest, but I think taking a step back and speaking with the Silver Flame may be a worthwhile pursuit. Similarly, the mercantile systems of this city flipped at the same time that the merchants were given less of a voice in governing matters for Aruldusk."  Manneo straightened himself up, proud of what he had dug up in his research. "I would happily take time to speak with those at the Merchant's Guild in the hopes that some resentment on their part might lead to loose lips in our quest for additional knowledge here."  Readdressing what he had set out initially to find in his literature review: "I also believe that there is great power in a name. As our enemy works in the murkiest of shadows, we must cast light upon it to dispel it. I do not know enough to say that 'Salvatore' might be the identity of this shady 'boss' character, but at the very least appears to be an accomplice in his efforts to gain a prominence in this city." Having shared everything he had gathered and babbling long enough, Manneo sat back down in his seat. "I would love to hear all of your thoughts on how best to move forth."
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 4th of Aryth, 8:15 PM WHO : Everyone Prescott was surprised by Manneo's reflections on the subject at hand. He knew he hadn't spent much time around Manneo, but even their brief encounters provided no indication that the goliath would produce such pronouncements. By all Prescott's measures, Manneo had either kept to himself or spoken mostly to Cole. He removed the stupid look from his face and fixed his hair while he listened. Prescott responded to Manneo concerning Captain Godwin when he had finished. "Yes, Manneo, I am hopeful Captain Godwin will speak with me. If not because I am a priest of The Silver Flame, then because we share an occupation. Guards are not unlike soldiers in this manner, we love to speak of our 'war stories'. I will make an effort to determine the purpose of The Church funds as well. That is a most interesting piece of information". Prescott nodded towards Stain to acknowledge his part in discovering the financial transactions. "Allow me to gather information from Captain Godwin. I can then speak with The Church and see how their story matches up concerning the transactions."  Prescott smiled at Manneo "I especially liked the part where you mention we must 'cast light' on the 'murkiest shadows'.  May The Silver Flame guide our way".
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth,  Afternoon WHO : Everyone After the companions exchanged information from their endeavors, Prescott fixed his hair and announced, in an apologetic tone "I'm sorry. I need to head to the church and perform my devotionals. I will try to make it short". He looked down at his discolored vestment "I'll need to change into my last clean vestment first." His eyes returned to his companions "When I return I will have to launder my robes. If anyone else requires laundering, just pile it in my room." Prescott smiled "I really don't mind, the mundane tasks give me time to meditate. May The Silver Flame guide us". Prescott nodded to his companions and walked back to his room. Prescott returned from the church unsatisfied. He needed to see the inferno before him, hear its hunger, feel its power. He required salvation. He returned to his room and collected the laundry. A quick word with the Inn's proprietor and he found himself in the back with the wash cauldrons and fires. A smile crawled across Prescott's lips and his eyes lost their frantic glare. He poured hot water into the wash basin and began scrubbing the clothes. His eyes transfixed on the fires below the great cauldrons before him. Prescott began to mumble under his breath repeatedly "dronilnrir mitne ekess wer treskri, siteli kothar, majak sepa ro putole Dolurrh, fehlim sunathear arcaniss, tonoparir mrith Tira Miron, thirkuir Thrane sari vi ioth thaczil, vivex svern kiveki, vivex persvek wer annyo aryte".  May I find glory in the fire.

"I think our friend Prescott has the right idea. It is getting late and no good plans are ever created from a tired mind, my mentor used to tell me" Trea cracks his neck and stretches out his arms, and makes his way to the bedrooms. He opens the door and makes his way into the room there are two beds, he walks over to the nightstand shared between the two beds. He cast produce flame, and light the small wax candle standing on the table. He throws his backpack on the bed and removes his small meditation rug out of his bag and rolls it out on to the floor. Trea grabs the candle stands at the edge of the rug, Trea sits down with his legs crossed and closes his eyes to mediate. Whispering to himself, "Montain I fear I am not strong enough to make the change that is needed in a world that is obsessed with darkness. May the sun give me strength and guide me, on my journey"
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth, Late Afternoon WHO : Prescott Prescott walked through the business district of Aruldusk, first purchasing an embarrassingly large wicker basket. He then spent time gathering various exotic fruits from the vendors as well as a collection of teas. This was not about collecting the finest, simply the most ridiculously large and ornate. Prescott finished when the basket could hardly contain his harvest. At this point he wrote a simple note: Captain Godwin, I apologize for such an abrupt intrusion of your beliefs. I hope this goodwill basket will serve its purpose in helping to mend our friendship. Your Servant Prescott Albright Prescott laughed to himself as he carried the absurd basket to the Guard Barracks. When he arrived he happened to run into Myles Hodge, his acquaintance from the previous day. "Good afternoon, Mr Hodge" Myles cheered in response "Prescott! What brings you back so soon? You know, The Captain's still grumbling a bit". "I suspected as much" was Prescott's happy response. "I have brought him this FABULOUS basket, hoping it would make him feel better" He couldn't contain the mischievous grin. "I don't suppose you would have the opportunity to run it up to him. I wouldn't want to make things worse by showing my face just yet". "WOULD I?! Oh, PLEASE...THANK YOU, YES!" Myles couldn't contain his joy of being included in Prescott's joke. "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere" . Myles took several deep breaths to control his laughter and regain a neutral facial expression. He then took the basket from Prescott, with some difficulty, and began to maneuver up the stairs with the unruly bundle. Myles appeared after a few moments gingerly running down the stairs laughing. "He had no words, Prescott. He literally stared at the basket. He read the note, looked at me and pointed to the door." Myles was having difficulty containing his laughter "You should have seen it, I thought the basket was big, but I sat it on his desk...it was...it might as well have been a CHAIR. It DWARFED everything around it, just this GIANT basket of fruit on his desk. It was glorious." Prescott found himself fully laughing along with Myles at the telling of the story. "Let's have that drink tonight, if you're able. We can catch up."

I have, unfortunately, grown accustomed to performing my devotional ceremony alone. Is it possible for me to have about an hour undisturbed in the room for my devotions in the evening? I'll come down to tell you when I'm finished." He paused for a moment, concerned "Of course, it's possible for me to sometimes lose track of time. If I'm not down within an hour, please let me know. Just knock on the door, if you wouldn't mind." Prescott stared off into the distance "I've been out of sorts the last few days, I haven't been afforded the luxury of my meditation with our travel arrangements." He blinked hard and returned his focus to Trea with a smile "I'm not complaining, I enjoy everyone's company. I simply require that bit of time alone with The Silver Flame". Prescott switched to elvish < Do you find this acceptable?>

I will make my way downstairs to the bar and see if there is an open table I can do some of my small woodworking. “ Trea grabs his small wood carving kit out of his bag and makes his way downstairs. He had a small left over piece of oak, he was hoping to carve some new beads for his hair. “Enjoy my friend I will see you soon”
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth, Early Evening WHO : Prescott, Trea Prescott bowed his head to Trea as he left the room "Thank you, my friend. May The Silver Flame light your way". He closed the door and stared at Trea's meditation rug it is a nice rug, maybe I'll use it tomorrow . Prescott folded the rug neatly, set it aside, and performed his devotions comfortably for the first time in several days. When Prescott had completed his prayers, he placed the meditation rug back as it had been, so Trea could return to his contemplations without additional disruption, if he chose to. Prescott took a few moments to organize his things and collect his thoughts before returning to the dining room. Prescott approached Trea with a fatigued smile and spoke in Elvish < Mountain is wise, my friend, thank you. >
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth, Late Afternoon WHO : Prescott, Trea “ahh my friend he is wise, I think he would have gotten along with everyone in the group. Montain would have been impressed with everyone’s mental strength.” Trea looks down at his hands and rubs the wood scrapings onto his Cloth pants, he holds the small wooden bead to his mouth and blows the saw dust off of it, he brings it up to the eye and he can make out the small flame that he carved into the small Bead. He stands up and pushes his tools to the center of the table and walks over to Prescott. “I don’t know much about the Silver Flame my friend. But I made you this small bead if you would like you can’t wear it in your hair like I do. “ He holds up his hair shows Prescott. “ Or perhaps you can make a necklace either way I would like you to have it. “ Trea hands Prescott the small half inch bead. He puts the other hand on his shoulder. “ I cant say I know the future but I have a feeling we have a great Challenge ahead of us. We have to one top of our game both mental and physically. I will be In our room meditating if you need me, my friend”
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth, Early Evening WHO : Prescott, Trea Prescott sat and inspected the wooden bead. He was impressed with the precision with which Trea had crafted the trinket, and laughed quietly when he noticed the flame carved into its surface. Prescott rose from the table and walked out to the market district. He would find a length of thin leather, turning the gifted bead, from Trea, into a necklace. Prescott returned to the inn and later found Trea. "I want to thank you for the bead you carved." He revealed it hanging around his neck beneath his vestment along with a symbol of The Silver Flame. "I wear it around my neck, beneath my robes. I personally follow a strict tenet that states vanity can lead to the greater sin of pride. This is why I do not cut my hair or shave, unless such growth inhibits my ability to perform my duties. I fear wearing it in my hair, such as you do, would be the same as adorning myself and violate my tenet." Prescott smiled "I am proud to wear it in this fashion, however. May The Silver Flame guide your way".

I think it very interesting that a lot of our friends in our group have a connection to either the sun or fire. Not all of us but a few of us. I bet there is a lot we can learn from each other.” Trea stands up from his chair with this small wood working kit in his hands. “I hope we can help assist your friend the guard captain. He seems like a decent person, I would love to help save his son so he can be free of the binds that hold him and force him to take a blind eye. I was forced to leave my parents at an early age and it is not easy. “ Trea fidgets playing with the small wood carving knife in his hands, turning it his hand. “I just hope there is a chance we can solve this peacefully, Montain told me that nothing good can ever come from a fight. However I am not sure he has ever heard anything as evil as what Kit saw on that ship.”
LOCATION : Aruldusk, Inn of the Burning Candles Date/Time : 5th of Aryth, Early Evening WHO : Prescott, Trea Prescott listened to Trea and nodded in agreement concerning the slave ship "I agree that what Kittree discovered on that ship was horrible. It is a terrible evil to enslave your fellow. I believe, however, people who choose to do evil can just as easily be placed back on the path of righteousness.  My tenets teach patience when dealing with this type of evil" Prescott's face grew serious "With that said, there are some evils in this world that have no place. They simply must be felled, for their entire purpose is to mar and corrupt. My tenets give no quarter for these creatures, and I am sworn to destroy them wherever they are discovered. The undead scourge that roams your homeland is an example of such foulness." His expression lightened "I am certain we shall succeed in our endeavor to free the local Law, and Aruldusk will be free of its corruption. It would please me to help my old friend, he is a good man." Prescott's face showed concern "You mentioned you were taken from your family as a child, please tell me what happened Trea, if you're comfortable doing so".

I was very young, I’m not sure what are actually memories and what my mind has made up overtime. “ Trea plays with this thin goatee as he continues the story. “I do remember my mom was very nervous when she gave me up, to Montain. Unfortunately I don’t know why, I was told my mentor Montain, that she did it for my own good. So I would like to thank her reasons were just. I often wonder how her and my father are. I also remember running around our small farm with all the animals.” Trea sighs before he continues on, “I wish I knew more my friend I was very young, perhaps one day I will see them again and they can tell me why. It hurt for me years that they gave up on me. But I was told to never hold grudges. Perhaps I am nervous to truly find out why, and that’s why I never sort them out. Heck I don’t even know if they survived the day of mourning, I wouldn’t even know where to look. But you are all my family now my friend. “
