Currently seeking one more player who likes a balance of Roleplay, combat
and exploration, with a bit more emphasis on Roleplay. In fact, you will
be expected to Roleplay (i.e. get in character) but that does not mean you have to be a voice actor. Ability to separate player knowledge from
character knowledge is a must. House rules are kept to a bare minimum.
You will be expected to know your character's abilities and all the
rules around such as well as the basic rules. We are not excluding new
players but this is not a teaching game. If you are a power gamer who plays to 'win' at D&D, this is not the game for you. The campaign can get very dark or emotionally intense and can push personal boundaries which is
why we are looking for mature players, but mostly we are a
light-hearted bunch who enjoy just gaming together so there are a lot of
lighter moments, kidding around, etc. Party is 10th level. You
will start with 60,000XPs (not quite 10th level). I'll work with you in tying your PC with the party and the campaign but feel free to explore ideas. Experience is handed
out for roleplaying as well as defeating foes. Campaign is
home brew but utilizes a fantasy/medieval/celtic version of Earth. A few
published modules (adjusted to fit the campaign storyarch) are mixed
in. The PCs are heroes in the campaign, trying to save the world and
getting embroiled in side-quests and discovering layers of intrigue and
background, like layers of an onion. We use Discord for audio and no video. Tell me about yourself, what you expect from a game and what race/class you'd like to bring to the table. Some races/classes are not allowed or are restricted (or there will be racism towards certain races) so we'd discuss.
