[LFG] Not paid, preferably a group playing a campaign

Game: D&D 5e (open to playing other systems/RP games but would be a total noob, particularly interested in Vampire the Masquerade) Experience: Have been playing with a regular group for around three years. Due to work commitments (of other players) we don't get it together as much as I'd like, so I am looking for something regular to get my fix and of course meeting new people with common interests is always fun. Location/Timezone: UK/GMT open to playing with groups out of my timezone on weekends. Availability: Every weekday from 7pm GMT or Saturday any time. Don't mind insanely early Sunday starts (insanely late on Sunday would not work for me however). Can start ASAP. Preferred role: Player Game style: Would be most interested in a long running campaign as opposed to one shots. Would like something with more of a narrative and role play focus but enjoy combat and have no issue with a tough challenge if that's the GM's style, have never been salty about a character dying (as long as I get to role a new one for the next session). Would not be interested in playing in a no magic/fully realistic setting. All of my playing experience has been in 5e so I would really be looking for a group that plays 5e, however if you use a different system that supports a fantasy or even sci-fi setting then I would be down as long as you don't mind having a noob learning the ropes (would rather not play earlier editions of dnd e.g. 3.5e or 4e). As I mentioned above I have always been particularly interested in Vampire the Masquerade. Have no issue with homebrew campaigns and settings, I have read a lot of 5e source materials but also play by the mantra that it is the DMs game and world. I do have some character's ready to go (not rolled of course) but am more than open to making something new so would not join expecting to be able to play any sort of character in particular unless you want me to present one of my existing characters for consideration, which I can do. However my view is that it's healthier to meet the DM and have a chat about the setting, whether there's anything they don't allow in terms of race/class or would rather not have before running off and making something.
I run a Classic Traveller game on Tuesday nights (PDT). If you are interested. (Nice icon of G'Kar by the way). https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/2270377/tranquility Please drop me a message if you're interested.
Yea I've always loved G'Kar so I've been using this avatar for years. Unfortunately I get up pretty early for work (Monday to Friday) and having just looked up the time difference between us which is significant, so evenings for you would be well past midnight for me. I really appreciate the offer though and the game sounds really cool so I hope you find the player you're looking for (I'm sure you will).
Text based gaming okay? Familiar with the Tal'Dorei setting from the Critical Role podcast? Available either Friday evening or Saturday morning or early afternoon? (Pacific Time!) Ever wanted to join the circus? If you answered yes to all of those, drop me a line. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/147573/the-brass-dragon-circus-and-traveling-sideshow
I'm a big critical role fan (working my way through campaign 1 now that I'm fully caught up with campaign 2) but I'm not sure I'd enjoy a text based experience. Thanks for the offer though.
