Map distance is confusing me

I just bought a one shot by DM Dave called "Creed of iron". The sizing of the map is confusing. I'm used to one square being 5 feet but it seems like a token is 4 squares. I also measured it and 2 squares is 5 feet. How come it's like this? Also when I move the token it doesn't snap to a grid. How can I make this more user friendly for my players? If a character had a movement of 30 feet then I know it would be 6 squares but in this case it's 12? This is a little confusing I find.

Judging by the size of the doors, and the fact that the programmatic Roll20 grid is not shown, I think this is likely a case of 2.5 foot floor tiles. I.e. cosmetic only, the floor pattern only looks like it is supposed to be a grid. Try turning up the opacity of the grid, and maybe make it a lighter color if you want it to be more obvious to the eye.

My guess is the grid might even be set to transparent on that page.

I noticed after that they were smaller squares. I try turning up the opacity of the grid. I also made grid enabled thanks guys!
