Character Sheet Loading Issues

A current game. Nothing happened during a new game (added weeks ago) yesterday with any sheets or character mancer 1 Sheet (Morgan) has a weird Passive Perception I cannot alter, 1 sheet (Bombas) cannot drag items from compendium. Chrome There is a use of Beyond20, but there are no issues with that connection, just the Roll20 sheets <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/9873951/lost-mine-of-phandelver-friday" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/9873951/lost-mine-of-phandelver-friday</a>
Playing a game with the Community Pathfinder sheet, located here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/3711546/another-time-another-place" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/3711546/another-time-another-place</a> All sheets on the table experience problems. Attempting to edit anything in the sheet, or elsewhere on the table (i.e. hp values on tokens) locks up the browser tab if a sheet is open. Extensions active on Firefox build 86.0.1 are Facebook Container and uBlock Origin. Name of an affected sheet: Lazanis

My players seem to have no issue accessing their character sheets, but I still cannot access any personally as the DM. All sheets are affected for me. I can't even open an individual character page to view bios and such. Stuck forever on loading. <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/7062122/the-night-parade-of-100-demons" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/7062122/the-night-parade-of-100-demons</a>
IDK if this is the same issue but the Monsterhearts character sheet is totally broken. There's a bunch of new options and half of them turn your sheet into a collage of all the new options lol.
My character sheet is blank in <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/7138974/seraphim-of-the-lamb" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/7138974/seraphim-of-the-lamb</a> In a different campaign a different character seems normal. I'm testing in Private window with no extensions.
i have an issue where my sheet is stuck on the charevter mancer and want let me go forward or back to charecter sheet
Still broken.&nbsp; Players do not have the token selection frame on their character sheet when editing their character. DM's can see it, but not players. Players with edit functionality also cannot set tokens to represent their characters either. Right now only me, the DM, can assign tokens to any character.&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/10099718/nexus-dungeon" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/10099718/nexus-dungeon</a>
Updates 3:55 P.M. PT Post Elizabeth said: Hey everybody, we've put out another change to help reduce confusion during the game's initial load so that entries in the journal tab will be disabled until the sheet is ready to be loaded. While disabled, the entry should be grayed out and your cursor should be loading spinner when you mouse over it. We'll be investigating the other issues over the next few days while we confirm the status of the initial problem.

The following information is helpful for us: Does this happen in any other game? What about a new game? I only play in one game. Is this happening for all sheets or only a few sheets in particular? Only mine. Other player are unaffected. Browser version (only chrome and firefox are supported) I play mostly on Safari on my IPad. But tried it on Chrome with no change. Provide extensions you have enabled, then Ensure that ALL extensions are disabled to see if the problem persists. (Incognito/Private Browsing typically by default will disable extensions in that window) &nbsp; Private Browsing and not have the same issue. Please provide a link to your game and the name of an affected sheet.&nbsp; Game:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/9471204/snohomish-peeps" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/9471204/snohomish-peeps</a> &nbsp; Character Sheet: Naria&nbsp; I noticed this when I tried updating the sheet on 18March around 0745am PDT. At least today, it has a loading loop. Yesterday was just blank.

Does this happen in any other game? This is the only game I have active at the moment that uses an integrated character sheet. Is this happening for all sheets or only a few sheets in particular? Of 6 players, it happened to 3 of them. Val said his was affected but had reverted back. Al'Vereth and Haggis are still affected. Browser version? Chrome 89.0.4389.90 64bit Provide extensions you have enabled: I don't believe that I have any additional extensions running. Have tried in Incognito and no change. <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6284876/war-for-the-crown-wednesday-knights" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6284876/war-for-the-crown-wednesday-knights</a> Al'Vereth San d'Oria I would like to say that the character sheet has zeroed my level, attribute points, skill ranks, coins, and notes within languages, senses, and things written into skills. Gear is unaffected as far as I know, except that the encumbrance has zeroed as well. When adding spells the ones I have return, but when I load the sheet, it does not normally show that I'm a caster.
If I got this problem right, it appears to me a loading problem. For me it happens in all games as DM and player. Sheets are loading endlessly: Is it that what you all mean? My way to overcome this issue is usally to close the sheet and open it again. After two or three trials it works. Loading in roll20 is sometimes awfully slow since few weeks, by the way.
Using the D&amp;D 5e by Roll20 character sheet, if I select the 'Query Advantage' option from the gear, it acts strangely. On attack rolls, I receive the query popup, but it's not changeable. I cannot select Advantage or Disadvantage. The 'Advantage?' input box is pre-populated with the text: Normal Roll,{{normal=1 On skill checks, I do not receive a query popup. All rolls are normal. Changing the sheet to use 'Advantage Toggle' puts the buttons at the top of the sheet and all rolls work correctly. Does this happen in any other game? Yes, all games tested. Is this happening for all sheets or only a few sheets in particular? All sheets tested. Browser version . Hey there, So, the issues for me cropped up late in the evening of March 18. I am running one campaign, and developing a second; in both cases, I'm using AD&amp;D 2nd edition rules without &nbsp;a character sheet template.&nbsp; While this was A Thing – roughly 11:30pm-midnight of 3-18, through 12:30pm of 3-19 (all times PST) – characters were not loading at all when you opened the character window. This happened both when opening them from the journal, as well as when opening them from tokens on the board. Pictures, text in the bio tab, nothing would load; it would just be a blank white screen. Window pop-out functionality was also gone during this time. Happily, since 12:30pm yesterday, functionality appears to be restored and everything seems to be working like normal now. Have tested in both campaigns that I'm working with, across multiple character windows.&nbsp;

Created a new npc and the query advantage option doesn't work. Existing npcs which were set to use it still work correctly, but in the settings show "Always Roll" instead of query.
Character sheets of all types are still taking a few seconds to load, no matter what game I'm in. Verified on both Chrome and Firefox. PLEASE fix.

Everyone in my campaign can access their character sheet except me. (DM can access, but I cant)I have been able to access it before. So I already had to last minute cancel a game yesterday due to this issue.&nbsp; Character sheets just sit on a purple-swirling loading bar 95% of the time, then on random occasion they'll take 5-20 seconds to load in, then take forever to actually roll anything.&nbsp; Is it possible for Roll20 to just rollback whatever this update is and stop using its customers as beta testers that pay them for bullshit updates that don't work. I've tested this on Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Edge and it's all the same.&nbsp; No extensions and on all campaigns that I DM for.&nbsp; It just loading-loops.&nbsp; I've tried loading in pop-out and all the suggested fixes throughout this thread and others.&nbsp; How about Roll20 actually does the right thing and remove this broken update, fix it on their own time, and give us the old, actually working version.&nbsp; Thanks.

The issue I'm having is in my Mythras game (linked below). If I click "edit" on the character sheet, and change the name and the journal visibility and click "save", after exiting the game and joining again the changes will not actually be saved. Does this happen in any other game? What about a new game? It does not happen in a game that has character sheet set as "none", but I get a different issue in that once I've clicked "save", the sheet pops out and fails to load like how some people are having in this thread. Though the name change and journal visibility is applied right away, and saves and loads properly when exiting and loading back in. Is this happening for all sheets or only a few sheets in particular? Please provide the names of sheets experiencing this issue. For the Mythras game, it is happening in all sheets. It sometimes doesn't happen if I edit something on the Mythras character sheet (like stats or skills), but I cannot regularly reproduce this to come up with a workaround. Browser version (only chrome and firefox are supported) Firefox 86.0.1 (64 bit) Provide extensions you have enabled, then Ensure that ALL extensions are disabled to see if the problem persists. (Incognito/Private Browsing typically by default will disable extensions in that window) Happens without extensions. Please provide a link to your game and the name of an affected sheet. Hello. I get a blank token with a blank character sheet attached to it whenever I try to drag a Hobgoblin Captain or Medusa from the compendium into my game, despite seeing its character sheet just fine in my compendium. Does this happen in any other game? What about a new game? It only happens in the one game where I need to use a Hobgoblin Captain and Medusa, sadly. I tested it with a newer game and it worked fine. Is this happening for all sheets or only a few sheets in particular? Please provide the names of sheets experiencing this issue. So far just the Hobgoblin Captain and Medusa. I downloaded firefox and I can access my character sheet again.
Yes Firefox is working for now, but Safari worked just fine for over a year until last week.&nbsp; This leads me to think that whatever went wrong is somehow reversible.&nbsp;

See here for details. Basically, you need to delete one character on your macro that calls traits.

Now you can't use roll20 with older browsers, chrome requires you to reload your sheets and suffers from lag while firefox only gets the lag.&nbsp; It works fine for certain people but I'm not one of them and neither are the other people complaining.
Still lag. Every character sheet, every time. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, ROLL20.&nbsp;

Do you have the sheet popped out into its own window? Which sheet are you using?
I have 2 games (one as GM one as a player) that are both suffering this issue.&nbsp; Running Google Chrome, have tried clearing cache but no change. Also turned off Beyond20 but no change there either. For the game I'm GMing all character sheets fail to load. It just stays at the "loading" window. This includes NPC sheets. Game I'm GMing has Curse of Saltmarsh modules installed but the game I'm a player on is raw D&amp;D 5e, no modules. For the game I'm GMing other players can load their sheets ok.

Had a character sheet fail to load during session today, but was able to eventually get it there simply by closing and re-opening it multiple times. Later in the session however I had a different issue where if I edited an NPC character sheet (e.g. by clicking "show to players," or by editing the "in players journals" to "all players"), the entire sheet would lock up full-screen on the VTT, unable to be further edited, resized, or closed, forcing me to reload the entire VTT page again. As I was playing 5e with several NPCs in the encounter, this was extremely invasive and really ruined the moment for a climatic encounter. Pretty disappointed with this service, that I'm paying for, at the moment between this and other on-going issues.
Can't level up one player fighter character using Charactermancer. It´s stuck and even "cancel" button is unresponsive. Hi. Long time listener, first time caller.&nbsp; I'm a player in a 5E game (Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, if that matters). We've been running this in Roll20 for about six months with no major issues. Last night, everyone in my group had a problem booting up the Charactermancer for leveling up. It isn't loading the attribute, class, or HP information in the first tab, and won't load the other tabs at all. I was able to get the other tabs (Features, Ability Score Increase/Feats, Spells, Review) to load after I skipped steps until I got to the end. Once they appeared, if I backed into them no information from my character sheet loaded. The most I'll get is my attributes and class loaded into the first tab, but nothing else. Even when that information loads, I can't make any changes like roll to add HP. Doing so puts a 1 into the chat log with "rolling 1undefined = 1." That's about all I can get out of it.&nbsp; None of us have had issues using the Charactermancer to create our characters or level up until last night. I'm wondering if this is related to the recent character sheet overhaul from a couple weeks ago, since we haven't had cause to use the Charactermancer since then until last night. (Apologies if this is a known issue; I've been digging around i the forums here for an hour and couldn't find this specific issue registered recently.) I can't account for the specs for the other folks in my group, but I'm using Chrome in Windows 10 (64 bit). I've cleared my cache and turned off all my extensions, per bug triage. Normally I'm using AdBlock Plus in Chrome. I have not tried Firefox yet. Not sure if it's the exact same issue, but just started playing my game, and I see this on my character sheet:&nbsp; <a href="https://imgur.com/Z9aamlg" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/Z9aamlg</a> Using Chrome, playing this:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6446799/bg-descent" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6446799/bg-descent</a> , my character is Genever. Most everyone else in the game uses the Beyond20 extension, I'm the only one that habitually uses the native Roll20 character sheet. Edit: Mel in the same game is also having the same issue.
