Is it possible for a GM to change a player's "Display Name" in the settings tab?

The use case here is setting the Display Name to match the character rather than the player's roll20 ID. I had a look around in the new player view mode, but it looks like the settings page is greyed out. Is there any way to do this directly as the GM, or is it locked to the player's control?

I simply ask my players to change their Display Name to “Character Name (Roll20 name)” and no one has ever refused.
The frustrating part is needing to always remind some players to change their "Speaking As" setting to their player so the proper avatar shows up.
