Good clarifications on the Guzarl story-lines (Co-DM) Webcamparrot . Interesting material, woven between the module, the homebrew, and the players. For the upcoming: The party plans to depart Kimba Hai fairly soon (once missions accomplished, mainly stopping Lord Harlepen & the High Priests from sending troops through Harlepen Gate), and make your way back to Ota Sura's Outpost around a planned window of time, where she promised to meet you and polymorph you back to regular form. OOC meta-terms, it's been a significant accomplishment reaching this adventure & getting through the Ota Sura module, and we are moving to the next chapter of the game within the next 3 sessions or so. Playing as Orks was something I looked forward to since conceiving and launching this campaign 2-3 years ago. I always wanted to run a group through this specific Orks module (NEVER knew how it would go, how PC's would respond, or how it would be resolved), but, I wanted it to be played by a party that was already playing as "regular PC's" for a while before the Orks, so that it would feel like a Polymorph change, and then be able to change-back. To have a reason to agree to polymorph, and a desire to want to change back after. Also we embedded relationships with the aunty Ota Sura from early in the campaign, making a longer-term story arc with her, and a legitimate trust and connection. Illustration of the party, still in the form of Ota Sura's Orks, trying to make your way back to Ota Sura's Outpost that's guarded by elves. NOTE: In this picture you are the orcs in the background!! Here is the campaign Table Of Contents so far. Resolve and recover the Bell Of Law that the party last heard was in a medusa cave? Undertake additional personal quest lines for individual PC friends in the party, for example Swargen's quest to Asgard? ... When PC's reach 9th Level you can establish individual or collective bases, keeps, territories! ... When PC's approach 10th Level, I'm planning ahead for more adventure modules spanning Level 10-11-12-13-14-15. Global and planar adventures, or a long life of retirement. The End. Start another. * 5-6 more published modules are also blended-in to the world context, I'm not naming the titles since they are still in-play and not completed yet. Unidentified to preserve mysteries for the game. Here is a link to Adventure Modules - Tile Mosaic Of Adventures in Homebrew World a fairly interesting, prescient old thread in our game forum, introducing the campaign, where I wrote about the homebrew space in-between adventure modules, and how I intended the campaign to respond to player-character development in tailored subplots. There are Questions for Players there, asking what you think about modules. The main theory is like this picture of a globe. The colorful tiles represent the adventure modules, and the grout in between is homebrew, travel, random encounters, party play, campfire time, and subplots related to individual character's backstory, relationships, quests, motives and goals. Bonez, Cat, WickedWayz, Mat, Paul, please click the link and answer the survey questions if you like! It's from the formation of the campaign, and is meant for the DM to get to know the Players in terms of the overall campaign progression and contents. It is a Player survey about opinions/history and fore-knowledge of published adventure modules (like classic AD&D, TSR, and WoTC publications). https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1573661/player-s...
