Oxenbrass trades in coin and secrets, both water and blood flow through these canals. There is a wrongness about this place. Too many come in pursuit of glory and gold - never has so much greed been so concentrate. The Geminate City throws its arms wide to the masses but leave your love in your homeland - this is a city of sharp knives.. and sharper words. -  Canal Master Elias Cole, First Regent of Oxenbrass, 656-718 AE.  This is a campaign based almost entirely in one city, entirely enveloped in political feuding, criminal underworlds, self-serving factions and outcasts fleeing their home countries. It's semi-serious, but ignoring all the gloom for a second, it's standard-fantasy and very open-ended. You will arrive in the city early in the campaign and then the ball is in your court. I have 4 players ready to go and we will be doing a Session 0 on Monday 3rd June , just looking for a 5th.  We run every Monday, for 4 hours, from 19:00 GMT/14:00 EST. I love the fresh-faced enthusiasm of players. By this I mean players who are proactive in their character's actions and devour the scenery. I love characters who pursue goals, hobbies and self-made quests. New or veteran, all are welcome. The campaign is as follows : You have recently received your license from a famous, sometimes infamous, guild of heroes (think Fable). The Guild is interested in opening a new outpost in the newly-formed city-state of Oxenbrass. You have been partnered with 4 other new graduates and been given the deed to a derelict inn somewhere in the city. You must go to the city, develop the new guildhall and the Guild's reputation and navigate the complex political backstabbing and half-truths of the Oxenbrass Regency Council. All this while finding potential new members for the Guild. Most of the campaign takes place in one giant city, but you will venture beyond its walls to the outlying towns and hamlets. Think of Dragon Age 2 and how the city in itself was a world in this regard! The city is expansive and has many districts, quarters, neighbourhoods, parks, keeps, factions etc. etc. Key themes : Reputation-building, Political Intrigue, Base/Follower Management, City Quests, Fantasy Noir. Hit me up with a message here! Apologies if I don't get back to everyone, thank you so much for showing interest.

I Like the sound of this. And i'd like to get in on that! o.0 What do you need from me to write out, more than what is on my r20 profile ? Could we open a dialogue? Please ? O>O Thank you!
Hi, I like the sound of this a lot, if there is still a place open PM me and I can answer anything you need.  I know 5e pretty well, GMT timezone, I've recently had a few campaigns fall through so this would be perfect! cheers
Hi!  I'm sort of a newbie and I'd like to join your game if there is room. I can roll up a character and short backstory lickety-split. If you need any more info, PM me and I'll give you what ya need.
Interested if still looking
Name: Jeremy/Ray/Jay (what ever comes more naturally to the players and yourself) Experience: I have Nearly 6 years of D&D 5e but not any substantial time spent to lean any other system yet. Most of my time is spent as a DM but I have really been wanting to stretch ideas and play time in to game but it can be hard to find DM's that fit list. I have a plethora of ideas and concepts to roll through most fantasy settings and I tend to make big backgrounds and focus on the character as a person then his stat block or Op abilities. I Like to spend a small amount of time explaining things like spells and actions in moments of significance to try and make the battle less hack and slash and feel more like a spectacle or a show. Favorite Class and Why:  I like both Warlock and Paladin because they come packed with a purpose and drive thats soo flexible, not only in its design but it also makes it easy for people to understand while still having many layers, I agree that such a thing can be made with all characters but i think about the actually person more than the class, The warlock just happens to be one of the most customizable and builds great external conflict and the Paladin is a great character to build internal conflict around (tbh paladin can be boring without it) Fun Fact:  I am also a DM and run games on Saturdays with a Homebrew world that i made from scratch over the last 3 years and I'm running my 4th party through. It's so fun to watch the changes they make to my world and make paths for the new parties to come. Misc:  Its a huge long-shot but considering that its a home-brew world i would at least like to ask if you would be down for the Shadow Roguish archetype found in the  Dark Arts Player's Compendium   (This is purely optional and understandable if its not for your game and I would still be interested in playing) Character: I have a massive amount of characters that i would love to play each and everyone of them at some point but ill spare you the pain and name a few of my favorites Yjerro Narowiin:  A human wizard that is on the run from people who sought to use him Yjerro is a young man with short dark blond hair, dawned in light and dark colored flashy robes gilded in brass always seen with his nose stuck in a book or perusing a glowing object. His curiosity is one of his small handful of distractions he keeps himself occupied with during most waking hours, If nothing else but to keep his mind in a better place. In his hours of quiet when he feels alone or safe he tends to reflect more then one should on memories that haunt him to this day.  Adrian Moraleth:  An Shadar Kai Rogue that has made his way into life with questionable actions and is trying to get out Trying to pay his debt to save someone he cares for and to finally end his Grim Career and reset his life. Adrian has a changing composure that easily switches from intimidating to soft and kind. As an Ex-Hit man he is no stranger to having blood on his hands but he wants to stand for something more and change his ways after being convinced by an Orphaned kid that he once saved. Sticking to his hip the Orphan put themselves in danger and led them to be kidnapped and Adrian is now blackmailed and either has to come up with a Large sum of gold or collect enough enough power to stop them. Xoroc Vydendreth:  A Cursed Dragonborn Warlock that is trying to find answers to his past and to lift this pact he no longer wants Xoroc is a tall well statured Dragonborn man standing at 7 ft. 5 in. with White and grey scales. He is a harsh featured man with an aggressive looking expression pulled in by almost glowing white eyes that stare intently. His head is covered in white tendrils that fall to his shoulders that are neatly decorated by small crossing twine and light blue cloth. He wears minimal amounts of his armor and mostly drapes himself in cloth and leather, using buckles to hold the pieces together. Affixed to his back, a great-sword that he has fashioned as a more versatile weapon considering his strength and size Its a word wall I know, but hopefully you will give me a chance. I will still reply to roll20 and check regularly but it can be delayed at times as I don't get notifications but if your down to let me take a shot I can be reached much quicker on my discord.
