Oxenbrass trades in coin and secrets, both water and blood flow through these canals. There is a wrongness about this place. Too many come in pursuit of glory and gold - never has so much greed been so concentrate. The Geminate City throws its arms wide to the masses but leave your love in your homeland - this is a city of sharp knives.. and sharper words. - Canal Master Elias Cole, First Regent of Oxenbrass, 656-718 AE. This is a campaign based almost entirely in one city, entirely enveloped in political feuding, criminal underworlds, self-serving factions and outcasts fleeing their home countries. It's semi-serious, but ignoring all the gloom for a second, it's standard-fantasy and very open-ended. You will arrive in the city early in the campaign and then the ball is in your court. I have 4 players ready to go and we will be doing a Session 0 on Monday 3rd June , just looking for a 5th. We run every Monday, for 4 hours, from 19:00 GMT/14:00 EST. I love the fresh-faced enthusiasm of players. By this I mean players who are proactive in their character's actions and devour the scenery. I love characters who pursue goals, hobbies and self-made quests. New or veteran, all are welcome. The campaign is as follows : You have recently received your license from a famous, sometimes infamous, guild of heroes (think Fable). The Guild is interested in opening a new outpost in the newly-formed city-state of Oxenbrass. You have been partnered with 4 other new graduates and been given the deed to a derelict inn somewhere in the city. You must go to the city, develop the new guildhall and the Guild's reputation and navigate the complex political backstabbing and half-truths of the Oxenbrass Regency Council. All this while finding potential new members for the Guild. Most of the campaign takes place in one giant city, but you will venture beyond its walls to the outlying towns and hamlets. Think of Dragon Age 2 and how the city in itself was a world in this regard! The city is expansive and has many districts, quarters, neighbourhoods, parks, keeps, factions etc. etc. Key themes : Reputation-building, Political Intrigue, Base/Follower Management, City Quests, Fantasy Noir. Hit me up with a message here! Apologies if I don't get back to everyone, thank you so much for showing interest.
