Hello everyone, thanks for checking out the Warhammer Fantasy 4e sheet by Cubicle 7. As you can imagine, a system and sheet of this complexity is going to have some teething issues; there's so much we wanted to cram into the first release that there's bound to be some things that have been missed or overlooked. So, I hope you will bear with us! Thanks for all your feedback and help! Warhammer Fantasy 4e (Official) Sheet Version 1.0.0 Player Character support. Non-Player Character support. Compendium Drag & Drop for Items, Traits, Conditions, Careers, Monsters, etc. In Development An unordered list of features that are currently in development. Sheet documentation Enhanced NPC skill support (grouped skills) Enhanced NPC talent support (allowing for NPCs to be built with talents) Species Advances (a dedicated section for talents from Species at character creation) Various XP spend improvements (adding starting Characteristic advances, calculating XP values for out-of-career advances, etc.) Critical Hit drag and drop Critical Hit, Fumble & Miscast Support Default Sheet Setting Support Known Issues A list of known issues and (where applicable) their anticipated fix version. Translations not imported correctly from CrowdIn Various XP Spend Bugs - 1.0.3 NPC Talent Support - 1.0.3 Species Advancement Section - 1.0.3 Initial Characteristic Advancement - 1.0.3 Sheet.JSON improvements - 1.0.3 Resolved Issues A list of issues that have already been resolved, and their fix version (where applicable) Language (Magick) unrollable - 1.0.1 Personal and party goals overwrite each other - 1.0.1 NPC attacks incorrectly calculating target number - 1.0.1 NPC bonuses not calculating - 1.0.1 "Pole-arm" vs. "Polearm" discrepancy causing issues on sheet - 1.0.1 Various Encumbrance Issues ("Worn" not working, Encumbrance mod not being applied, etc.) - 1.0.1 Report Issue Sheet Issues Template Description of issue : Try being as detailed as possible when writing a description. Documenting the exact steps you've taken will let us follow the same path in trying to replicate & test the issue. Screenshots: A picture is worth a 1,000 words and a Gif 10,000. References : Page numbers always help! Feature Request We tried to include as much as possible in the original sheet, but something of this scale is all but required to be an iterative process. Let us know what other game rules the sheet could support better. If you think another post has a good idea reference that idea and give it a +1. We cannot guarantee every idea will be implemented but we will evaluate each of them. Feature Request Template One-liner Title : Brief Description : Try to keep this to a few paragraphs by describing a use case. We'll get more details later. References : Page numbers always help!

Responding to the posts in the previous thread : Thank you all for your great feedback, I'm going to try and provide clarity on as many points raised as possible. Arioch1973 1. (Advanced skills not displaying) The advanced skills should be available, but grouped skills won't be. Support for combat skills on the NPC sheet is our very next feature to be added, and will be followed by the rest of the grouped skills. 2. (Career "Levels") This was an oversight on our part, and will be resolved in our first bug fix! 3. (XP spends) The initial column should offset this for skills and talents for your first career, but this issue persists for Characteristics and for Species advances. For now, you could put these into the 'settings' section (the cogwheel), but better support will be coming soon! 4. (Stealth specialisations) I haven't been able to duplicate this issue. Could you perhaps take me a screenshot of the issue? 5. (Animal training) Which element of this isn't working? Again, a screenshot would be incredible. 6. (Language Magick) This is definitely a bug, and one that we already have a fix in the works for! Hart N : 1. (Personal/Party Goals) I don't know how this slipped through QA, but a fix for this is coming in 1.0.1. 2. (NPC Attacks) This is definitely a bug, a fix will be coming in 1.0.1 (along with an expansion of options in this area) 3. (NPC Talents) This is an intended feature, but our focus was on supporting the Core book first. Definitely keep your eyes out for this! 4. (Species skills & Talents) See my response to Arioch above, but be sure that we're going to resolve this ASAP. We're glad to see it supported too! 😂 ᐰndreas J : 1. Getting documentation on the zendesk is a huge priority! Sorry to have launched without it. Kevin M. : 1. (Language Magick) This is definitely a bug, and one that we already have a fix in the works for! Robert B. : 1. (Critical Hits, Miscast, etc.) This is something we're hoping to add support for as a priority. 2. (NPCs can be overtyped) I'm not quite sure what this means, could you expound for me? Hainen : 1. (Autocalculated values) All of the autocalcuated values should have modification fields (either in the settings tab, or in the settings panel for the individual item). In the case of wounds, you should be able to modify that from the settings tab. Another option would be, in the settings panel for Hardy, write "Wounds +4" (no quotation marks), and this will also adjust, allowing you to track where the modification is being made. LongShadow : 1. (Second sight wrong description) I will put a ticket in to get this resolved ASAP. 2. (Existing Advances) This is a very suprising bug! This was verified to be working repeatedly as we developed the sheet, I'll investigate this immediately. Apologies for this! 3. (Changing career XP cost) This is, honestly, just something that's very hard to track with the sheet. We will be adding some extra functionality to the sheet to make this easier, but for now I would recommend using the XP tracker (it will take negative values, i.e. '-100'. 4. (Tests line on talent drop) This is a great idea, and I will add it to the roadmap!

ᐰndreas J : I don't particularly want to commit to a timeline, because no matter what date I estimate, something will arrive to delay it (on our end, or Roll20's). But with as much haste as we possibly can.

Description of issue : XP calculations reset between careers. If I add the Pit Fighter career and put 5 points into Perception it costs me 50 XP (as per the Advancement section on Pg 43 of the core rulebook). However, if I then switch to the Artisan career and put 5 points into Perception this is calculated as 50 XP (for a 0 to 5 advance) whereas I believe it should be 75 XP (6 to 10 advance). I appreciate I could work around this by putting Perception 10 into Pit Fighter (which calculates correctly as 125 XP) - however I would like to record which career the advance was taken in for future reference. I should add that the same thing occurs with Characteristics and Talents. I tested this with Toughness for Pit Fighter / Artisan and Reversal for Pit Fighter / Duellist.

Feature Request Pre-fill talent modification field It would help a lot when dragging and dropping talents onto the sheet if the modification field was already filled where appropriate. For example, the Coolheaded talent adds +5 Willpower and could be pre-filled easily. Additionally, it would be even more amazing if the modification field accepted formulae so that mods can scale with the number of levels and is able to reference different characteristics, skills and talent level. For example, Hardy adds Toughness Bonus Wounds for each level. Having to manually type Wounds +3 for 1 rank and Wounds +6 for rank 2 (etc) is annoying, plus it needs to be updated if Toughness Bonus increases, making upkeep of the character more of a chore. Feature request Auto calculate Max Advantage Currently the Max Advantage field only accepts a number, but a lot of games use Initiative Bonus. If the field accepted values other than just numbers, this would help. Compedium corrections Item Traits should be Item Qualities Both Arm and Leg Critical Wounds are listed under Items, when they should be under Rules. See screenshot.

Hi. Thanks for creating this sheet. So far it looks very nice. I think there is an issue when calculating characteristic and skill advances costs. The 6th advance should be cheaper (and 11th, 16th, etc.). The cost depends on the advances you have already taken, so the 6th skill advance should still be 10xp (because you still have only 5 advances). That's why the "Characteristic and Skill Improvement XP Costs" tables (pages 43 and 47) were changed to read 0-5 in the first line. Also, the Experience Mod doesn't seem to work at all (but the XP tracker can be used for this, so it isn't a big issue).

Is the sheet not accounting for free advances at generation in its xp expenditure and future XP costs something that's a known issue? Also if you add a advance to non career skill advances then delete it it doesn't remove it from the backend numbers thus requiring manual deletion. Additionally I personally agree with Txus with regards to the 6th advance being 10xp for the reasons they stated. Though I do want to point out that the book disagrees with itself in this regard as it states 6th onwards being more expensive. If anything I've listed is already known and listed then I apologise for my misunderstanding of the written text.
One-liner Title : Item Traits Brief Description : When you drag Item Traits to the sheet, where do they go and how do you connect them to an item? For example lightweight, I have dragged it to the sheet and I get the "Accepting Compendium drop" but after that I cannot find anywhere. If this is a bug or needs a different implementation, would it be possible to be able to drag it to the item you want it to be associated with?
Description of issue : Trappings improvements? Would it be possible to have an "In Container" tick box which would then have either an "^", "|" or indent to show that it is in something like a backpack, this way we would be able to show where the item is stored.for example I took the "Cart" and named it "home" to represent items my character has but are not on him. This would require a format change as well so the it is left justified rather than centered so that things would line up correctly.

Say you put 5 in charm or something from that step and then spend xp on more if you put the free advances from page 36 into initial (assuming that's where its intended I haven't seen any documentation if it is available yet) then the next advances you buy are counted from 0 on the cost table. So, initial 5, advance 7 costs 80xp. If this is my misunderstanding of what the initial box is for then please do let me know. Thank you.

Let's clear up the XP costs for number of advances. From the core rule book there is this example. To summarise: 1 through to 5 is 10XP per advance. 6 through to 10 is 15XP per advance. Your 6th advance in a skill is therefore not 10XP. Advances you gained from character generation for either species or your starting career skills count toward this.
Hello ! Nice character, however some of the combat skills do not work correctly, namely Basic Melee, Parry and Cavalry. 'Attribute has not been found' Screenshot proof:

Phew, I'm glad to see an official sheet! It looks neat and functional and I'm looking forward to seeing it continue to solidify :)
Feature Request Feature Request Template One-liner Title : Initial Characteristic Advance tracking section Brief Description : When creating a character you are given 5 characteristic advances that do not cost XP, but count toward the total number of Characteristic Advances taken (similarly to the 40 initial skill advances) - please add a section similar to the Initial column on the First Tier of Career Skills. References : WFRP 4th ed Core Rulebook, p35 "Advance Characteristics" Heading
Is the sheet meant to auto-calculate for talents such as Hardy? I see there is a space to adjust HP, so am I meant to calculate that by hand or is this a missing feature at the moment? Feature Request Have a place to input starting background and racial skills, and talents. I've figured out how to work around it, but if I had players with little experience with WFRP, and Roll20 this would be a confusing 15 minute conversation with all the players to get them to put the points in the correct place so it doesn't count against their XP.
Hi and thanks for the new sheets! I also have an issue with weapon tests not finding their attributes. In this case it is Polearm that is messing up. Polearm shows up in red and in brackets for some reason. I can still get skill bonuses to count from Career sheet with simple "Melee (Polearm)". Here the weird stuff starts, as you can see the brackets show when selecting polearm as a weapon group and it refuses to calculate "Total" on the sheet. Rolling it as a weapon just brings up the error "No attribute was found for @(Charactername|[polearm])". Rolling it as a skill from the first page of the sheet works, just not as a weapon. Good luck with resolving this! :D
Hi, thank you for the sheets!! Couple of errors I've seen that I haven't seen posted: Channeling has 7 of the Winds and Dhar, so Heavens (Azyr) seems to be missing (Along with a Custom option dedicated to Hedgecraft and other spells); Channeling in general appears to be broken in NPC sheets, with all types being bracketed and in red; Critical Wounds seem to have a typo where the "Wounds" section ought to refer to "Days" (of Recovery) A Couple of Feature Requests, in no particular order of relevancy: - Corruption could do with a calculated cap (WPB+TB) to be present in the sheet - Documentation on how to colour code Career Characteristics for Custom Careers - Automatic calculation of Encumbrance changes to Movement and Agility (And an option to disable) - Wealth could appear both in Main and Combat tabs (Plenty of space under Ambitions and ease of management) - Automatic calculation for Hardy in Wounds count. Good job with the first release, eagerly awaiting updates and fixes!!

Feature Request One-liner Title : Enable setting allowing to use Fast SL Brief Description : Currently clicking on the attributes or skills triggers roll and SL is calculated. It would be nice to be able to set an option on the card to Use Optional Fast SL rules: When you pass a Test, use the result of the tens die as your SL. So, if you passed a Test with a roll of 36, you score +3 SL. With this optional rule, the closer you roll to your tested Skill, the better, rather than rolling low being best. If a Test fails, you calculate SL as normal, taking your rolled tens die from your tested Skill to determine your negative SL. References : Options: Fast SL, p152, main rule book

Hi John, Thanks for the report, we caught this issue introduced in the most recent and submitted a PR , but apparently not soon enough to make the merge. I will see if it is possible to merge this in sooner. Best, Nic
Report Issue Description of issue : Cannot drag and drop the Herbalist career into either a brand new sheet or an existing sheet. I just wanted to add congratulations and thanks for this, we have played for a couple of weeks with the new sheet and whilst the old community sheet was excellent the ability to drag and drop is brilliant. Feature Requests Character Notes Field It would be really handy to have some where to keep notes as a player, my players are currently doing the Enemy Within and could do with keeping names in their sheet. A Doomed Field It would be nice to keep the Doomed tag line for a character somewhere (Page 136 in rulebook). Advances Tab It would be really handy to be able to see what altering a skill advance does to the skill, especially in NPC or character creation. NPC Spells I can't seem to be able to add spells to an NPC sheet. Please keep up the good work, do you know if there are plans to release more content such as the Enemy Within campaign or some of the other adventures? Thank you in advance, having already seen some of the fixes and requests above already on the sheet I am impressed.

Sheet (Compendium) Issues Template Description of issue : This is really a compendium issue - but figured this may be the place for this. The map of Reikland is much trumpeted in the description of the WFRP package. It is there - buried in the compendium - but you do not seem to be able to do anything with it. I can't drag it to the roll20 tabletop in any way. I can drag it to my own computer desktop, but not within the VTT itself. Also - it really isn't very high res. When you zoom right in the names of individual settlements are only just read-able. Can we please have a higher res image that integrates into the VTT in a way that allows annotation. Thanks

just realised this and thought it best to point out and ask, sheet is missing gnomes atm, will those be added or be left to the custom race option as they aren't core book?

AMAZING!!! What a great community. Thanks everyone. I have just started and LOVE all of this. There is but ONE thing making me really anxious to introduce this sheet to my party: Difficulty modifier. REPORT ISSUE Specifically, choosing a difficulty modifier from the dropdown menu prompted upon any roll, is simply not calculated. Did I miss a step? What am I doing wrong? The other details of the roll are well portrayed (SL, original value, roll #, etc.), but this rather crucial part seems ignored. I didn't notice this covered in the above. Thanks so much in advance. Cheers, Jonathan

Text Area Expand, Constraints A note about layout, could you restrict the text-areas to be only expandable vertically? Report Issue Compendium Issue Description of issue : When I drag and drop the Herbalist Career from the Compendium it doesn't work. The sheet itself says "Accepting Compendium Drop", but dropping does nothing. All other Careers work fine. I noticed that part of the Herbalist entry in the compendium looks a little funny - maybe it's related? (See screenshot below, note that the tier 2 of the herbalist profession is prefixed with "###" - no other career I saw has that). Screenshots: References : N/A
Report Issue Sheet Issue Description of issue : Global Modifier from Conditions not applying to rolls. If I have a condition that gives a penalty of -10 and I roll a skill test it doesn't appear to modify the difficulty appropriately. Wasn't able to post a screenshot - something's up with Roll20 forums and it kept giving me a "page not found". To replicate the issue just create a char, add a condition (I dropped mine from the Compendium) and make any skill roll.

Hi, i just bought the compendium and went through the "translation" of my characters' sheet (18 players in 3 groups...). I 've found this topic, and went through it, looking for some informations. I'm not sure all the issues I've found have been already pointed out. Report Issue Sheet Issues Description of issue : 1- Even if i checked the "query on" option, the skill checks in the main page are done without the difficulty modifier query. It works only through the "combat page" for the six actions. 2- Somehow, the same check, with same modifier works for one pc and doesn't work for another pc.(see last two pictures) 3- blessings' text is always "0". 4- when creating pnc, some (basic) skills receive their value, others don't (see first picture: for example, gamble and gossip) Thanks for your attention

Hello, Read through these issues and I see what I think my issue is listed as "Resolved". DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE : 1. When attempting to modify NPC rolls with the difficulty factor input, (Creature stunned -10 as an example), it is not being captured by the difficulty input. I can tinker with the advantage, but why is the difficulty input feature not being added or subtracted from target roll. For normal character sheets, it is working fine. These are not custom creatures, they are right out of the monster section of the compendium.
Does anyone know if the it is possible to roll a magic language test for an NPC. I have put a skill figure into expanded skills section. However it isnt copying down to skills on the main part of the NPC block. Some skills are, cool etc.
