I am a law school student who is also helping in the planning of my wedding, so my schedule is both busy and can be somewhat irregular. This makes it hard for me to find a group to meet on a regular basis to run campaigns, so I am hoping to take advantage of the one-shots, and if I end up liking Dnd like I think I will, then try to find a schedule that works for me to do campaigns.

Also played a handful of sessions of Dnd 5e and Shadowdark • Anything else about yourself (Optional): Recently finished a PF2e campaign as a player and now looking for a new one. I might also have a go at GMing something once I have a campaign as a player sorted. I prefer a strong focus on exploration and combat, social encounters are enjoyable as long as they don't drag on for a long time (was recently in a game where we'd often wind up with only 1 combat encounter in a 5 hour session due to drawn out social encounters, and I got frustrated by the slow progress). I also have a tendency to play characters who are at least amoral if not immoral, which can make finding a suitable group difficult

Ive put off learning it because frankly the rules seemed super daunting. But, after realising some of my favourite content creators (viva la dirt league) had an entire DnD dedicated channel, ive been binge watching that, and a few other beginners guides, and now im hooked and want to play!  Long term, I'd love to master the game and become a DM, but for now I just want to play with some like minded newbies, and patient older heads to guide us. Notes: I would love to play Rifts instead of just reading the books, but I know it isn't common or well liked, I have horrible dice luck so I tend to focus on passive abilities and area effects you don't have to roll for.

Have been a DM and a player, but with a group where rules are loosely interpreted and enforced. I enjoyed the Fallout games as well, am curious to try a ttrpg in this universe Thx again!

Though I wouldn't at all fit a group mostly doing dungeon delving. I like both low and high fantasy, medieval settings, and while I have little experience with sci-fi, I am not opposed to trying most things out! ^^
