Print Character Sheets

Score + 835
+1 this should be standard option? My group does a mixture of online/offline (with roll 20 used) and being able to update the character sheets on rol20 and print off for our in person sessions would be amazing.

Andrew N. said: The following javascript will produce a decently printable version of the main page, some areas of the character bio and info page will be truncated, however. To use it, open the character sheet in a separate window, open the developers console, copy/paste this code, and then press enter. After that, you should be able to print a decent copy of the main page. var cssText = ' body {height:11.1in; width:8.5in;} .ui-dialog {position:relative!important;} .nav.nav-tabs,.sheet-footer,.sheet-tab-button {display:none;}' var styleTags = document.getElementsByTagName('style') var lastStyleTag = styleTags[styleTags.length-1] lastStyleTag.append(cssText) document.getElementById('editobject').remove() Updated version that will print on multiple pages, I note it only really works on the first tab, for the bio and spells maximise the window and use the snipping tool, you can print from the snipping tool var cssText = ' body {height:24.1in; width:8.5in;} .ui-dialog {position:relative!important;} .nav.nav-tabs,.sheet-footer,.sheet-tab-button {display:none;}' var styleTags = document.getElementsByTagName('style') var lastStyleTag = styleTags[styleTags.length-1] lastStyleTag.append(cssText) document.getElementById('macrobar').remove() document.getElementById('edit-button').remove()

+1. This would make it actually useful to me as a complete replacement for mythweavers.

Even if it wasn’t a direct export to PDF, having a live updated pdf linked to it or similar would be great.
INDEED! +1 , and how!

Baffled that this simple feature hasn't been implemented in over six years. Please add.

It has been added to the character sheet framework.&nbsp; But every character sheet needs to be edited to enable print media layout.&nbsp; The last dev post explained that.&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/10277985/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/10277985/</a>

That said it really should have been something that was included earlier so that less changes have to be made now.

Seven years of comments so far. I guess this will never happen.

+1 for this feature. Wow, Roll 20 still charges a fee for their "tools" and doesn't give two wet farts about 7-year old player feedback eh? Probably the most basic feature anyone could imagine since the invention of dot matrix printers. I can't believe I paid a subscription fee for this. Will be canceling before renewal.&nbsp; It's probably drug-dealer business model. Keep your customers dependent upon your product so they don't stop using.
It doesn't take months of dev time and QA to make something print to a PDF. Stop dragging your feet.
Also, see the how-to posted 9-years ago for beginning javascript programmers:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20dev.net/forum/post/655/pdf-support-for-handouts" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20dev.net/forum/post/655/pdf-support-for-handouts</a> The link actually still works, you just might need to update the code a bit since 9 years is a long time.
Oh yeah, also check out your competitor who has this feature:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/55693-how-do-you-print-character-sheets" rel="nofollow">https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/55693-how-do-you-print-character-sheets</a>
