Really sad to hear this Peter... You've done a fantastic job - I just wish I could have created somethig as good as you have.  I, too, started the RPGMaster suite in 2020 in response to my AD&D2e group being forced to play remotely, and I know how much work goes into keeping a massive piece of quality code like your sheet.  FYI, I have just uploaded v4.0.1 of RPGMaster Suite to be released, with Drag & Drop  NPCs of mutiple classes & races, to compliment the Drag & Drop  creatures.  I'll never complete all the creatures in the Monsterous Compendium - though the information is there for others to add their own databases of creatures ... and then share them! (hint, hint) Enjoy a break (?) and World of Warcraft (Classic or Retail?) and thanks for all your hard work which I am sure is appreciated by many.
This is a monumental effort and I'm sure we all thank you greatly for it. Would love to see your new 2e sheet if it comes together. Good luck with your other ventures and thanks again!

Enjoy your well deserved focus-shift Peter. Your efforts on the 2e sheet are surely appreciated and I for one can absolutely understand dealing with the constraints of legacy code and the nearly constant coding churn needed to keep a sheet abreast with the latest vtt changes.  Cheers to you and your valiant accomplishments and efforts in our little corner of the world!
I'm sorry to hear you're not going to be updating this sheet - we still play 2e, though we may be part of the few. Best of luck with your next project.
Peter, Thanks for all your hard work on this character sheet. It has made our games over the last 4 years highly enjoyable. Ironically I came onto this forum to say goodbye myself as we are moving to Fantasy Grounds as we are now finding the yearly subscription too expensive, plus many of my players have been having issues with Roll20 over the last few months (massive 'lag', 3D dice not working, animations only working half the time etc etc) with little or no help from R20 support. So once again a BIG thank you for keeping 2E alive and kicking on Roll20 and long may it continue :)

I am also having issues with 3D dice only working somtimes, and animiations working for some players but not others, depending on if they can see the token when it is started. Best if luck on Fantasy Grounds. I have been looking a bit at Foundry myself, and someone gifted me license some years ago, but never followed up on it. It will probably be a long time before I have the time to dive into that. Maybe in a another life! xD Lexin said: I'm sorry to hear you're not going to be updating this sheet - we still play 2e, though we may be part of the few. Best of luck with your next project. No need to be sorry. I am still playing myself, and going through the ups and downs with Roll20. I am still around, just not actively developing anymore. :)

Cheers Peter!  The final update on this Sheet looks detailed and amazingly documented as ever. Thanks again for all your hard work here.  I hope to see what you create in the future, and if that can be a whole new 2E Sheet in Roll20 that would be something I'd look forward to trying. In the meantime I think THIS sheet will continue to get a lot of use.  Good luck and happy adventuring.  Let's try to keep this thread around for all the tips & tricks & advice & documentation.

I know that this sheet will continue to see use from me, as I do not trust anyone else on their calculations for anything. I am the kind of person that needs the math to be right :D. I will try to keep this thread alive. It will need a post every 2 months to not be archived, but even if it is archived, Roll20 can open it up again, which they have done for me once before. So hopefully it will stay a live for quite a while.
Thank you for all the unpaid labor! Your sheet is awesome for the mutant 2e game I want to run.
My God this Character Sheet has made my decade! I'm 57 years old and have been playing AD&D since 1979. I refused to ever "upgrade" to 3.0 or beyond, believing that the "upgrades" ruined the game, and if it wasn't broke why fix it. So I have happily been a DM for 2nd Edition AD&D for the past 35 years. Sadly, time has taken from my game the last of my players and the younger generation isn't interested in 2nd edition. Imagine my surprise when I discovered virtual table top games, but I doubted it would include something as old and specific as AD&D 2nd edition. It is so nice to be wrong! ...And then to find a Character Sheet as detailed and complete as yours has warmed this old man's heart. Thank you from the bottom of my wrinkled soul. There of course will be a steep learning curve ahead in learning to properly utilize Roll20, but the reward is well worth the challenge!  Long Live the once and future king... Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition!
Just want to chime in with a huge "Thank you!" to Peter B.!  You have made this sheet so much better and easier to use, and I really appreciate it! Best of luck in your DMing and gaming in the future!

It is truly heartwarming to hear all your positivity and praise on the sheet when I tend to only see the flaws. It reminds me that despite the many hick ups the overall product is better than my perception tells me. Maybe the features really do outweigh all the jank. It gives me hope that it will live on for long time! I will let you know that my DMing is going fine. I am still getting used to being "on the other side of the table", but I am getting the hang of it :)
The work you put into it was phenomenal... and many thanks for all the upgrades.. It has helped out peeps see things in a better light.. Especially the spell work you put into it... I have seen PC's rejuvenated lightly used spells, just by reading the pop up desc... And actually knowing what the spell does... that was huge...
