Thanks for the followup Jason.
I'm not certain if þis is þe correct þread, however, I've been having a problem wiþ þe Roll20 sheet: It's all in a single column and I can't figure out how to fix it. Þe legacy and community sheets don't do þis, but I can't add more spots for skills on þe legacy sheet and I can't figure out how þe community sheet works.

I'm really not sure what's going on with the PF Official by Roll20 sheet in your screen shot.  Can I assume this is not a custom game using raw html, css, and translation files?  If it is, I might suggest checking to see if the Legacy Sanitization box is erroneously checked in the game settings.  What browser are you using? Side note: Curious, what part of the PF Community sheet can't you figure out?  Understandably it's a complex sheet, but there are lot's of users to help explain things if needed. Cheers

I really have no idea what's going on wiþ it. You most certainly can assume þat it's not using any raw code. My browser is WaterFox, which is based on FireFox and should act þe no differently. What I couldn't figure out is where to go to actually make a character. Turns out þe solution was to click on þe gear. If it's not supposed to be on þe options menu by default, perhaps þat needs to be checked? It would also be nice if þe tab you're in were highlighted, but I've figured it out now. Þough, can I add more MISC skills þan 10 somehow?

Hi Kir Volkov,  Please try one of the official browsers, Chrome or Firefox. See if the problem persists in one of those browsers.

Community sheet: Settings; new sheets open to the settings page by default (mainly to encourage people to see the different options available).  Either you are on the settings page, or not, but I could see how that could be confusing.  The Settings Gear/Cog does change it's background when toggled, but I agree that clicking the Settings Cog to toggle isn't very intuitive.  Maybe I can toggle the text as well ie "Settings" or "Sheet" depending on the state.  I'll give it some more thought. Skills; Artistry, Craft, Lore, Perform, Profession, Misc. are all hard coded to 10.  There was some consideration years ago at simply making all skills a repeating section, but alas, that never happened.  Not sure if I should ask... ;-) but what's the use case for more than 10 Misc. skills?  I don't think anyone has ever requested more than 10.

I'm trying to make my own system and I'm using Paþfinder as a loose base for now until I get more done for character creation. I'm having each weapon be its own skill, as well as having Block and Perry as skills, so while 10 (under normal circumstances) should be more þan enough, as players rarely will care about more þan 8 weapons, let alone put points into þat many, I'd still like to let þem to have þe option of keeping track of as many as þey could possibly want to have.

See if the problem persists in one of those browsers.  It does indeed work in regular Firefox, which I find strange as Waterfox should be no different in how it interacts wiþ anyþing. There could be a number of reasons it is different ranging from an extension on one browser that is not on the other, different updates (Waterfox is a fork from an older version of Firefox), etc. For example, an update in Firefox can break things, Roll20 then goes in and fixes  Roll20 to work with Firefox again. If that happens in Waterfox Roll20 is not going to go in and fix it since it is not a supported browser.  It is worth noting that whatever is under the hood of the browser may be the same as another browser, but that does not make the browser the same. All sorts of things get packaged around that "engine" that can impact your experience. Roll20 is an extremely complex website with a lot of interactions. It pushes browser tech pretty close to the limit. As a result they have to limit which browsers they test or they would be doing nothing but browser compatibility coding.
Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to write a buff to add 1d6 damage to damage attacks and I can't figure out the syntax. Specifically the Warpriests Holy Strike (for Reference)
For reasons I can't seems to figure out or even google when I try to use the sheet macro provided on the community FAQ i:e   %{selected|repeating_spell-0_$id_spell} it keeps throwing the error, "You tried to use the repeating section row at index NaN for repeating_spell-0, but there doesn't seem to be a row at that index.".  I'm selecting the casters when using it so it's not trying to find the barbarain's spell list or something simple like that. I am just stumped.

BTW It's always best to use the actual rowID vs a raw row #&nbsp; Row's can be rearranged, but a rowID is a "permanent" address. ie If I wanted a&nbsp; spell's name from a given row; @{repeating_spells_$X_name} is what I see when I hover over the field, so I can substitute the actual row's ID like so @{selected|repeating_spells_-kkm0semykxye94ejtcq_name}

They are looking to build a macro based spell list instead of keeping the sheet open.

Not as granular as only show me level 0 spells(do you have a macro example?), but the sheet includes chat menus for spells as well as many other sections found on the sheet.&nbsp; You can drag/drop those buttons to the macro quickbar, rename, colorize, "emojifi"... This works for all button rolls on the sheet as well.&nbsp; Or make a macro that calls those buttons from any selected token. No need to keep the sheet open. chat menus drag buttons to the quickbar and send to chat without opening the sheet. example of using a macro to open a selected token's chat menu /w "@{selected|character_name}" @{selected|allmenus_macro} Change "allmenus" to whatever menu you would like to open. (hover over a button to learn the attribute name and append "_macro" to the end of it.) Bonus tip: If you make a roll, you can see what was sent to chat by clicking in the chat input window and hitting the UP arrow. This is useful when making custom macros. Cheers
Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but the automatic macro for mythic powers seems to default to {{description=@{short-description}}} rather than {{shortdesc=@{short-description}}} {{description=@{description}}} which makes them not show up properly when called in chat?
my DM for our new Pathfinder campaign is using your sheet, unfortunately, I can't make heads or tails of it and the manual inputs and macros are personally frustrating, is there a link to a tutorial video or site I can use to make heads or tails of this?

Hi Vox, AFAIK, no one has ever created a video "walk-though". It's a complex sheet which allows for lot's of customization/flexibility but has a steep learning curve and is definitely less intuitive than it should be. Reasons are manifold, but primarily this sheet has gone through every one of roll20's sheet/vtt code feature changes/additions and did so years before any of the official roll20 sheets were created… While the sheet autocalcs many fields it’s not going to handle everything (ie herolab/charactermancer). You can usually fiddle with fields to see how they effect things to get an idea what is happening. Not "my sheet" btw. I'm only one of the persons that have worked on it. Here's some " Suggested Steps " for new characters (refer to the sheet's wiki for more details); &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1. Settings &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ make any changes necessary for your sheet and/or game. (most defaults are fine) &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ If the sheet is an npc/monster check the “Is NPC or Monster” to display NPC/Monster tab. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Caster's need to check "Uses Spells" to see spells tab. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ If you want to see more editable fields (macro-text) check the display boxes under Advanced. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2. Core &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Fill in Details &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Ability Scores – fill in Base Scores (include any racial adj) The “adjusted” ability scores will affect everything on the sheet. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3. Class &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Fill out the row according to the appropriate class table. These scores will affect everything on the sheet. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 4. Skills &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Mark Class Skills (CS column) &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Add Ranks to chosen skills &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 5. Abilities &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ add Traits (don’t forget to make adjustments to other areas) &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ FYI: you can drag/drop SRD feats from the compendium. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ add Feats &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ probably do not need to add every class feature... &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 6. Equipment &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Add gear and fill out the details to get appropriate encumbrance and categorization. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ FYI: you can drag/drop SRD equipment from the compendium. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ IMPORTANT: add your weapons as equipment before creating attacks. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ use the “Create Attack” button from the Weapon Attributes sub-section &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ add armor/shield then; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ use the “Set Armor” button from the Armor Attributes sub-section. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 7. Attacks &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ IMPORTANT: add your weapons as equipment before creating attacks. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Adjust each attack row as needed. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 8. Spells &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Caster's need to check "Uses Spells" from Settings to see spells tab. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ If PC has multiple spell classes check “Has multiple spellcasting classes” at the top of the Spell page. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Fill out the Spellcasting class and level completely. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Fill out Spells/Day info &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Add spells &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ FYI: you can drag/drop SRD spells from the compendium &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 9. Other Suggestions &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ you can drag/drop all buttons from the sheet to the vtt’s bottom macrobar (rename, colorize, customize) &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This includes the sheet’s built-in chat menu buttons. Eliminates having to constantly open and roll from the sheet. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Create/Add common buffs to effect multiple attributes and toggle as needed. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Use Conditions to make sheet-wide adjustments accordingly. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ◦ Use editable macro-text fields to fine tune rolls. IF you mess up a field, just delete it and it will fallback to it’s default macro. Hope this helps. Cheers p { line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.1in; background: transparent }
Is there a way to see and use each individual skill by itself, rather than having them all grouped together?&nbsp; When I hover over them, I noticed there are some skills missing, namely: Appriase, Craft skills (Even tho there is a dropdown menu that apparently is supposed to add more craft skills, they don't show up, however the Misc. ones do), Knowledge Engineering, Different Perform skills, and the Profession skills.
Also, it kind of makes it difficult to differentiate between the skills when assigning ranks.&nbsp; Do you put 2 ranks into Athletics if you want both climb AND swim?

You can only hide/show all Knowledge skills.&nbsp; You can adjust the number of "name-fillable" ie Misc, Craft, Profession, etc. from Skill Options sections.

Wait, nevermind.&nbsp; I experimented with some options and turned off Unchained skills.&nbsp; My GM told me to turn it on because we use the Unchained skills rules.&nbsp; We can still do skill unlocks and things without that checked, right?

Gotcha.&nbsp; If you want to use Unchained Skills ie Adventure/Background or Consolidated, you really only pick one option.&nbsp; Not really a mix and match choice.&nbsp; But, yes, everything should work as expected depending on the Skill system you are using.
with these settings on, this is what I saw under skills: But when I turned those settings off, I got the normal skill list.

Sorry.&nbsp; Not sure I follow.&nbsp; That's what should happen.&nbsp; Either you use the normal PF skill system or use one of the unchained options.&nbsp; Are you having an issue with the Consolidated Skills specifically?
Hey,&nbsp; vÍnce I was curious if I'm doing something wrong or if it's possible to enable bolding/italicizing in the notes fields of the sheet? It helps me correctly track the source of certain buffs or passive effects, but the lack of bolding for some reason makes it harder for me to read the text. I suppose the bolding makes it a more clear header and draws my eyes to the effects. Below is an example of the effects I was trying to bold through the use of asterisks, and some part of me distinctly remembers the sheet permitting it at one point, but it might just be a Mandela Effect I'm being slapped upside the head with.

AFAIK, formatting within the textarea field (ie markdown) gets sanitized by the vtt when it's sent to chat through a roll template. ;-( You'll need to come up with another method to make the text standout.&nbsp; (maybe use All Caps, leading dash, quote, etc.)
Huh, I had all the sheet macros in my campaign set up specifically to take advantage of being able to bold stuff, and if you look at older screenshots in the thread they definitely had bolded sections that now aren't showing up anymore, s o that's definitely new, probably on roll20's part I'm assuming? &nbsp;

You can also include Markdown formatting in the values you pass to Roll Templates and it should work fine. For example: {{attack= [[1d20]] vs **AC**}} According to the wiki, markdown should work.&nbsp; I found this suggestion though; Character Sheet Development Textarea - Visual Markdown Editor Option which leads me to think that perhaps something's changed. I'll have to do a little experimenting.

This should be live now.&nbsp; You can always grab code from the repo and run a custom game but you will not automatically get sheet updates.
If it is, then unfortunately it is not working with my games yet. Is there something I can do to make sure my sheets are up to date?&nbsp;

The updates happen automatically.&nbsp; See if you can change anything by using the font options in the sheet's settings.&nbsp; Try picking another font family from the dropdown and use the checkbox to use in chat.&nbsp; <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Pathfinder_Community_Sheet#Font.2FBackground" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Pathfinder_Community_Sheet#Font.2FBackground</a> Fyi: wiki is a little outdated.&nbsp; There is an option that lets the font change affect at least some of the roll template. I assume you are using markdown syntax for bold text? Ie **bold** On my phone right now, I will test on my pc later.
Correct. In fact, it filters out the syntax despite it having been used. I've left it in there in the hopes it'll eventually kick in, but no dice. I've gone ahead and played a bit with the font families, but none seem to be responsive, unfortunately. I'm sure there's something I'm doing wrong.

You are not doing anything wrong S.&nbsp; There appears to be in issue with yesterday's update cycle.&nbsp; I can see that the updated code was accepted and merged yesterday, but when I check the code on the production servers, it has not been updated.&nbsp; So my fix isn't actually live yet.&nbsp; I've posted the issue to the repo #12149 and hopefully the Dev's will get it sorted out.&nbsp; Please stand by. ;-)
I appreciate your responses, honestly. The transparency is super kind of you, despite the sheet being what I can only imagine is something of a side-project out of passion or desire. Please, keep up the good work!
Hi Vince, First of all: What a fantastic character sheet! I'm deeply impressed! A while ago (a couple of months?) something happened with one of the fonts in the chat window: The size is reduced when the chat window is displayed in an external window. As you can see it's not all text, just some. The screenshots are from Firefox, but it's the same in Chrome. All players in the group experience the same problem. We are all using Windows 10. Also, we have two separate campaigns and it's the same problem in both.

Thanks Linus.&nbsp; I'll do some investigating.&nbsp; FYI:&nbsp; I'm still waiting on the markdown fix to be fully implemented.&nbsp; For some reason, roll20 merged my update Thursday, merges go live 99.9% of the time, but it did not work for the PF Community sheet last week.&nbsp; The devs manually "re-merged" my update this morning,&nbsp; BUT only the HTML was updated and the CSS changes (the actual fix for missing bold and italic) was not updated.&nbsp;;-( I communicated this and my frustration once I got home from work today. I think we're dealing with a time difference though, so the fix is coming just a little delayed.

Add the extra attack(s) using the Iterative Attacks sub-section of the attack you are editing.&nbsp; fyi: you do not have to use the 2nd iterative row.&nbsp; You might assign the extra attack(s) at the end of the iterative list in order to keep the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. iterative rows open for higher BAB/multi-attacks.&nbsp; Regardless of which iterative row you chose, change the Attack Mod field to "0" to match the primary attack's total attack mod. The -2 is already accounted for.
Thanks for the help! I'll do that. Just to be clear, there's no pre-made flurry of blows attack tab right?
&nbsp; So I'm back with another question. It's nothing important, just a pet peeve... So here goes: I added two different types of extra damage in the extra damage tab and everything's working out fine. But, would you have an idea about why the first "Elemental fury (fire)" damage roll isn't highlighted in a colored square and just has the value sitting around normally? Especially since in theory it uses the exact same macro as the second "Elemental fury (fire)" damage roll. Again, not really a problem. Mainly curious about what could cause this. PS: Apologies for the mixture of French and English in the screenshot XD. If need be I can quickly switch to full english and put a "translated" screenshot
