Hi everyone! I come with some big news…
We’re preparing to launch a subscriber beta of the Foreground Layer in the coming weeks, and have just published a blog "Behind the Roll20 Foreground Layer" co-authored by the teams working on the feature to provide some insight into our approach and what to expect (check it out for some preview videos!)
Looking forward to sharing more with you all SOON! Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us get to this point by providing your ideas so far!
Love the initial look in the blog. I actually wasn't even expecting you'd be able to have the foreground disappear when a token was moved beneath it, but I'm very glad to see it. Making buildings with roofs and caves could be very fun. (But I'm just going to be happy to play with some weather effects that look natural)
