Monday maybe? Idk man I just make the sheet.
Got another suggestion. Under Defenses, there's a notes section that allows you to add notes about conditional modifiers for things like saving throws, would it be possible to have something similar for ability score checks? As an example, Samsaran characters get a racial bonus to constitution checks to stabilize, but there doesn't appear to be anywhere on the sheet to add this so that it shows up when you roll Con.

There won't be, that's just not necessary. If you have a situational bonus like that, make a macro that takes it into account. I don't mean to come across as rude but seriously, I don't wanna start putting in edge cases like that.
Hello all. I'm running into an interesting conundrum with one of my player's sheets. He is a level 1 half elf druid with a +3 Int modifier. Given that, his skill ranks at level 1 should be 7. However, it is showing max skill ranks 10 and total skill ranks 13. I've checked the other players' sheets, and the formulas for their skill ranks are the same. He does have Skill Focus as a bonus feat, but I didn't think that would have anything to do with it. Am I missing something?
did he put any points in to the FC skill section under his class or something?

You probably put 7 in the skills/lvl column. Change that to 4.
Aha! Yes, it was the skills/lvl. Overlooked that. Thank you!
The Stealth skill does not seem to be automatically incorporating the relevant size modifiers in the character sheet (I did not check yet for the NPC sheet). Easy enough to fix on my end by inserting the relevant modifier in the miscellaneous column, but I figured I point it out here, just in case. Cheers.

There's nowhere to show the size modifier for stealth so it's not automatically in.

I love the sheets! They are awesome. Though, there is this one "feature" recently added that is slowing down my games a ton. /em is attacking @{target|token_name} with @{name}! It is found in all the attack macros now and its breaking my game. Not only is it just extra clicking, but the target token feature kills a few of my players computers. Is there any way to make this optional or am I going to have to go remove it from every attack in every character sheet?

You'll have to either make your own macro with your own text or edit the macro text and use the buttons next to the attack entry.

If they're running IE, then they're bound to encounter problems due the fact that, well to put bluntly, IE doesn't run Roll20 very well. If they're using FireFox or Chrome, have them check their add ons. It's very possible that they may have add ons that may conflict with some of the features in the table. There's a lot of other issues that could be causing the target macro to "kill" their computers, but unless they're using a computer that was meant to run Win95, then I doubt that the target macro is the actual problem.

Sam said: You'll have to either make your own macro with your own text or edit the macro text and use the buttons next to the attack entry. Thanks for the quick reply. Though, I am sad to hear that this is the only solution. That addition to the character sheet just slows down combat too much for such little gain, in my opinion. The players should be role playing what they are doing anyways, so there should be zero confusion on what they are attacking. Having to take that extra few seconds to click the token, (if the feature works in the first place, seems to be buggy on our end) on top of all the other steps it takes to attack is tedious. It is even worse with iterative attacks. First attack, Open character sheet, move to attack tab, click the attack button, close tab, click the token. Now, repeat the entire process again for each iterative attack. Before you could just click the dice 2, 3, or even 4 times to get the proper number of attacks in. Anything that slows down combat in pathfinder is bad, as combat is super slow as it is. I will be removing this text from the macros myself. I felt that the issues of iterative attacks should be brought up. The sheets are awesome and something like that wouldnt stop me from using them. They are too good.

Anything that slows down combat in pathfinder is bad, as combat is super slow as it is. I don't really see this as an issue. You don't have to close the sheet each time, either move it over\resize to pick a target token or double-click the sheet header to minimize it. Tabs will be open to wherever they were. Rinse and repeat. If the sheet attacks seem to be slowing things down too much, make token macros for your attacks. Even my token macros use a target token. I find it solves any confusion on who is attacking whom.
If you're unsure as to how to make the token macros, if you take the time to read much, much earlier in this thread, you'll see exactly what you need to make the token macros. That way you don't have to deal with the steps list, although feel free to ignore what I say anyways because it's obviously just the character sheet that kills your player's computers. Anyways, in a somewhat hilarious way, that tip actually brings up a question I have for you Sam. What is the button name for the NPC attacks and other abilities? Like the PC side, those are the only ones that don't show a name for me, but I also see that there's no quick buttons on the NPC portion to do so. Or are we not able to link those buttons into a token macro as of right now?

Right now they share the same buttons as the PC's racial traits section. When I get a chance I'll add NPC sheet macro buttons.

So anything that's not listed at an NPC button will work as the PC when pulling abilities then? That sounds like potential headaches lol.
Im having a issue, im attempting to write in the macro field of a class ability, in this case its a Paladin's Smite Evil, but i keep getting a Syntax Error it looks right to me, but im still new to this. Anyone see what i've done wrong? /em is activating their @{class-number} ability, @{name} @{short-description} @{character_name} gains [[@{CHA-mod}]] to attack rolls and [[@{class-0-level}]] to damage towards his smite target. If the target is a Outsider with the Evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature the the damage boosts to [[(@{class-0-level}*2)]]. @{character_name} also gains a +[[{@CHA-mod}]] deflection bonus to AC. @{name} uses remaining: [[@{used}-1]]

Anyone else having issues using the sheet in FireFox? I tried using the sheet in FF 32.03 w/out extensions and it is running WAY slow and even crashes occasionally. Sheet works fine in Chrome.
Hello! I'm trying to add the KIller trait to my attacks. two-handed greatsword 2d6 +5 attack / +6 damage 19-20/x2 Crit Benefit: You deal an amount of additional damage equal to your weapon's critical hit modifier when you score a successful critical hit with a weapon; this additional damage is added to the final total, and is not multiplied by the critical hit multiple itself. This extra damage is a trait bonus . Here is the macro that is currently under the attack. I tried adding the extra x2 multiplier but not sure if I did it right. /em is attacking @{target|token_name} with @{name}! Attack Result: [[1d20 + @{total-attack}]] (Needs at least [[(@{crit-target}) + @{total-attack}]] to crit.) Damage Result: [[@{damage-dice-num}d@{damage-die} + @{total-damage}]] Crit: @{crit-target}/x@{crit-multiplier} Crit Confirm: [[1d20 + @{total-attack}]] Crit Damage: +[[((@{damage-dice-num} * (@{crit-multiplier} - 1))d@{damage-die} + (@{total-damage} * (@{crit-multiplier} - 1)) * (@{crit-multiplier} - 1))]] Type: @{type} Notes: @{notes} @{attack-notes}
I might have missed this, and if I did I am sorry, but whenever I try to attack, it is making me choose a target. It never used to make me do this. Here are some screenshots if it helps.

"@{target|token_name}" If you don't want to choose a target token, then I think you have to make your own macro and just eliminate the @{target|token_name}. Some people don't like choosing a target, but actually like using target in my macros. Good luck
Thanks for the reply, Vince. I can't get that to work for me either. Can someone at least give me an example of how to do this? That would be awesome.
Wow, I figured it out. I did miss something in an old post when it comes to making a macro. You can't used the fields with calculated values in the attack. I have been using that for my test the whole time.

The row of attack buttons on the attack tab of the sheet have macro text that has the @{target|token_name}. That script is built into those buttons and you cannot change it. If you use a macro that calls one of those attack buttons, as per your example earlier, you have to use the @{target|token_name} and you'll get prompted to choose a target. If you want, either attack from the sheet using the button next to your attack, or create a new token macro for your character. You can even copy some or all of the macro text from the sheet to create your own custom macro. Try this, click the first button on the row of attack buttons, "0", choose your target and let the macro finish. Now go to the chat window and click into the chat input and hit the "Up" arrow key. This will show you the text of the last entry entered into chat. In this case, it shows the entire macro generated from button 0. Now you'll see what is actually happening when click a button directly or call that button from you macro. Now, you can copy and modify this or other commands into your own token macro from the Attributes & Abilities tab of the character journal. Take a look at the "show macro text" on your attack for more scripting ideas. Clear as mud? Hope this helps.
I did end up with my own calculations that seemed to work before you posted this, however that is awesome to know. I might have to take another gander at this, but yes, it helps a lot. Thank you so much!

As much as I like the attack buttons inside the sheet, I usually make custom token macros for attacks, favorite spells, abilities, etc. I recommend using as many attributes from the sheet as possible when creating the custom macros so that your macro will change as the character sheet is updated\changed. Sam has already done all the work\math on the sheet so I use it. It's real easy to script /r 1d20+5 for an attack, but if you use [[1d20+@{attk-melee}]] the entire formula for a melee attack as found on the sheet is used. It still might just be a +5 mod, but now when you change something on your sheet that affects the melee attack formula (BAB+STR mod+size mod+misc) your custom macro will change with it. Very handy. Have fun.

This also works anywhere on the sheet that uses a repeating section. Spells, Feats, etc, Just hover over a button to learn the buttons attribute. Hope this helps. Cheers.

If you're getting errors, you'll need to modify all the repeating fields that're throwing the errors because that's how repeating fields work.

A way to add Sneak Attack die to an attack roll in the Character Sheet would be awesome. Trying to put " 2d6 " into the "Damage Mods" box just recognizes the input as "26" instead of a roll. adding brackets failed as well. maybe there's another way and i'm missing it, but i think there should be specific input for this, clearly marked, or should be added as a dice value (i.e. 2d6, 4d8, etc) to the "Damage Mods" field.
put it in the attack notes. Sneak attack: [[2d6]]
