WHERE ARE THE BACKGROUNDS? Acolyte? only one? The PHB SRD or whatever you want to call it has more than one. Staff member after staff member keeps stating that it uses the PHB - then where are all the options? If it is limited - where is that stated? So far Roll20 is a huge miss that has been glazed over by people who have too little spine to tell you that its TOO complicated. To the uninitiated this is a HUGE intimidating timesink and it is not "Easy to use" which is a terribly overly used, EXTREMELY subjective term to use. I am tech savvy and I am telling you - its NOT "easy" at all. It is hours and hours of learning, your tutorial is over an hour long and broke 3 times while I was on it, so I still do not know all the functions; and since I do not have yet another hour to pour through the tutorial, I will try to "wing it", get angry and then disappear. Sadly, you guys have a great idea. Like so many great concepts however, your execution is poor (I know its a cash thing). But stop glazing it over with marketing jargon like "easy to use" - you do not have a clue who your user is - how would you know? Second, if you are not using the complete SRD (whatever that is) - stop insinuating that you do. At the very least be truthful, don't BS your users into falsehoods. First, fix your tutorial second, explain the character creation area better (You only have one background choice). I do not know how to get the rest of the backgrounds - again not explained anywhere I can find. I assume I would have to buy something, but then again I assumed this would be "easy to use." If you cannot make an interactive tutorial that takes less than an hour - then make a VIDEO of the master developer using the system while your best "explainer" narrates. All of these little failure erode trust and they erode it with your largest market - the hesitators and the newbies; and while you may not be able to afford a fleet of coders to work for free and fix all the bugs, effort and trust building are FREE through honesty and simplicity!
