Not sure what the devs are doing that is so much more important or influential compared to this, but maybe they should reconsider their priorities? +1

They are making a start towards it with the custom classes and species, but they need to allow us to save these and not have to re-enter them every damn time. I have a HUGE amount of homebrew in my campaign (a 238 page guide worth).  I've had to make separate template character sheets  for the various species and the various spellcasting classes, and if I want to combine them, I have to fill in all the info and turn that into a template. I have like 30 ethnic types for humans. It's a massive amount of work. Then there are the 50 or so feats that I have in addition to the normal ones, the weapons and armour reinforcements that my players rarely use because they don't want to enter the info and set up the features, plus the adventuring equipment and magic items. It can take me a long time to prepare for a game.

Being able to drag it straight from the Compendium to their character sheet would be SO much easier.

+1, it's incredibly frustrating to mass-add custom spells (especially since I have to use existing cantrips to get proper cantrip progression, and they seemingly at random shift back to being Fire Bolt with the element changed). Alternatively, something as simple as CTRL + Click/Drag on elements of sheets would be a HUGE improvement. That plus cantrip progression working properly on the 2025 sheet would immediately solve the bulk of my problem.
When using an existing spell as a template for a new one, make sure to change the spell's name. This keeps the customized spell from being over-written by spells from the compendium. How is this still not a thing? I want to be able to create a custom compendium and be able to share it with my players for custom charactermancer options.
10 years??? its been 10 years and this is still not a thing???? Might as well jump ship to Foundry VTT

+1 Being able to create custom homebrew content outside a character sheet would be great and allow a drag and drop to the character sheet would be wonderful.
I wonder if the dev are having a scope creep on this one. Personally I'd like to have a custom compedium created and used by my account only. First step I think should be to make it account restricted first and then enhanced in the future. I feel from the comments that people only want this for themselves. Also what I'm baffled with is that some 3rd party can create compendium and sell them the people (for 5e, think Kobold Press for example or WoTC). Why can't we have access to the tools they have access to but usage is restricted to individual accounts only?

They need to safe the compendium from accidental and nefarious screwups first, which apparently requires an entire redesign of the engine. They are supposedly working on this. Who knows.
I would love to see this happen

Bumping this, pls
+1 this seems like a dead thread but if it ever happens i was here XD :P
