Wizards of the Coast Bug Report Megathread

Sunless Citadel Goblin, Kobold, and Bugbear attack macros are not working properly at the least. I haven't found others, but I haven't checked every creature. The dice all roll, but the d20 to hit rolls don't show up in the chat and an error comes up.  No attribute was found for @{Goblin|attack_display_flag}
Sunless citadel in the handout: The citadel #25 Empty chambers The narration is wrong it should say: This empty chamber is home only to rat droppings, crumbled flagstone, and stains.
Curse of Strahd in map: Death House - Dungeon The Shambling Mound token at the end doesn't work properly as a token. It has a health bar, but the usual token controls do not show up, and it can't be added to the turn order.

Andrew - Thank you for your report! I’ve corrected the hadrosaurus in the Roll20 compendium. Alan - Taking a quick look I think this may be related to the warlock spell level, which is currently at 7th level, despite the monster only being CR 4, which is where our sheets get their proficiency bonus from. I’m going to take this to Dev to see if we can figure out a solution. Thanks for the report! Shawn and Francis - I’ve reported this to the Production team and we’ll look into these issues in Sunless Citadel! Thank you for your reports. Bert - I’ve reported your token issue to the Production team and we’ll look into the issue in Curse of Strahd. As a note, please ensure that the token is not on the dynamic lighting or GM layer, as that would also cause this issue. D&D 5e Compendium Updates Typo corrected in Divine Soul subclass (XGE) Anchorite of Talos innate spellcasting corrected (EK) Hadrosaurus passive perception corrected (VGM) D&D Essentials Kit Patch 1.4 Revivify added to Anchorite of Talos spell list

try this The npc_hpformula is busted.&nbsp; It is showing on character sheets and token bars (when linked) as change xdy to xy.&nbsp; Example: if the monsters hit dice is 3d8 it changes it to 38.&nbsp; the monsters hp can not be rolled from here for a chance at something other than the average, that is with out looking the mob up in the compendium and rolling manually. I started two threads that i requested to be closed upon finding this thread.&nbsp; both those two threads have details and screenshots. They are: thread 1: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8648722/bug-token-bar-set-to-formula-shows-broken-results-character-sheet-shows-same-broken-formula" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8648722/bug-token-bar-set-to-formula-shows-broken-results-character-sheet-shows-same-broken-formula</a> thread 2: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8632824/npc-hpformula-vanilla-game-no-api-or-macros" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8632824/npc-hpformula-vanilla-game-no-api-or-macros</a>

I have noticed that the Spell Lists for the individual classes does not work. I just bought the Players handbook and Xanathars, but when I search the compendium tab for spell list for example the Cleric. Then I get a mixed list of all the spells in the game? I looked through the community threads saw an earlier thread from 11 months ago, that this has been a problem before. Is it something that can be fixed, or what do I do?

Commoner sheet in Monster Manual has problems There is a problem with the "Commoner" entry in the Monster Manual. I have verified in different games, created by different users. The token art does not show, and it will not accept the default token values set by the game settings for drag and drop. It can be set up manually and saved as a new default token, but the original in the Monster Manual appears to be broken.

I am running ToA and all the gmnotes that came pre-loaded in the game on&nbsp; have vanished! Such as on map marker tokens, they used to have the description from the handout of that area on the tokens gm notes. They were there just a few days ago now they are all gone.
Tyranny of Dragons - I accidentally deleted the map of the Sword Coast and I can't find it anywhere in the module. Is there any way to get it back?

In some adventures (list below), some of the NPCs have a 0 modifier for their statistics, even if said statistics should net them a bonus or malus. (e.g.: an NPC has strenght 8 and dex 12, but has a 0 bonus on both instead of a -1 malus and +1 bonus as it should be) This affects both ability checks and attacks. So far here's the ones I have found, divided by adventure: Lost Mine of Phandelver &nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/41/lost-mine-of-phandelver" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/41/lost-mine-of-phandelver</a> - Giant Spider - Goblin - Grick - Hobgoblin - Ochre Jelly - Ogre - Orc - Owlbear - Stirge - Twig Blight - Wolf The Forge Of Fury &nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/154/the-forge-of-fury-tales-from-the-yawning-portal" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/154/the-forge-of-fury-tales-from-the-yawning-portal</a> - Orc with Longbow (this is not a wotc adventure, but I'll shamelessy take advantage of Ashton reading this thread :) The master's vault &nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/40/the-masters-vault" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/40/the-masters-vault</a> - Giant Spider - Kobold Shaman --- For the Lost mine of Phandelver only, there's an additional cosmetic bug for all the aforementioned NPCs. The XP field has the letters "XP" in it, instead of just a number. So the NPC sheets display something like "(50 XP XP)" --- So far my fix has been: - removing the statistic - clicking elsewhere so it resets to 10 - modifying it again to the original value This way the correct bonus/malus is displayed and used. After I've gone through all this I realized I had a message from another user telling me I just needed to drag the correct monster from the compendium onto the NPC sheet. I cannot directly confirm it solves things, but here's for completeness' sake. (my original thread is here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8693101/npcs-have-0-modifier-on-all-statistics/?pageforid=8693507" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8693101/npcs-have-0-modifier-on-all-statistics/?pageforid=8693507</a> , I tried to copy and paste all the relevant information)

Keith - Thanks for your report! The commoner token is back where it should be. Gabriel - I’m not sure what the reason for this could be. If you’re still experiencing this problem could you please contact us via the Help Center so we can track down the nature of your issue? Frankye - We’re aware of this issue and working on it, but you pointed out additional examples we weren’t aware of that will help us track down the issue, so thank you! I hope to have an update here about the affected modules soon.

The Transmogrifier is a tool that lives on the settings tab in your game. It allows you to transfer pages, characters, handouts, tables and decks to and from any game you have created. It's a really useful tool.

Unless you turn on the option to autoroll damage, I think you need to click the weapon name in the display in chat to show the damage.

Open the settings tab of the sheet and turn on "Always roll damage". It sounds like the two characters have different settings for some reason. Alternatively, click on the name of the attack on the chat box result, and&nbsp; it will roll damage.

SRD / Player Handbook&nbsp;/ HGE the "[Class] Spells by Level" Lists are all broken both in game and out in the compendium, they show all spells and there is no way to share a link to a filtered list of spells (by class or anything else). i already posted about this here:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8704607/5e-class-spells-by-level-broken/?pageforid=8734363" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8704607/5e-class-spells-by-level-broken/?pageforid=8734363</a> looks like people have been reporting on this forever, it's been at least 1 year from what i can find, is there an actual ticket to fix this?

Lost Mines of Phandelin: extra token My DM said that in the notes for Thundertree encounters, in the southeast there is a blight twig encounter that as described(in some handout or something?) says there are 6 of them waiting, but on the map, there is 7 of them. So either the description is wrong, or there is one too many tokens in that spot.

Thank you all for your patience! Alan, Sr. K - This requires a backend fix and I have a ticket in for you! I appreciate you continuing to checking in, I'll check in about it again, and I hope to have an update for you soon. Johnny - I've submitted a ticket to the production team. Thanks for your report! Angelo - You're right that this is a known issue (Alan and Sr. K reported it above as well). I'm going to check in about this ticket again and I hope to have an update posted soon!
Ghosts of Saltmarsh Chapter 7: Tammeraut's Fate - The chapter is named chapter 6 not 7. Missing enemy tokens: - None of the tokens for the Death from the Deep scenarios are present (Ref: Death from the Deep handout) - None of the tokens for Inside the Ship are present (Ref: The Wreck handout) WotC only did a half job on a LOT of the Ghosts of Saltmarsh content so of course there is no map for the final encounter (not roll20's fault) Also: Why isn't this megathread pinned?!?!?!?
Also, none of the maps for Chapter 7 have 'Restrict Movement' enabled. I only discovered it when I was checking on the wall hack with the broken lighting system.... Also, despite an update on this thread, it still doesn't show on the main forum page, you have to click into the bugs forum to see it. <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/</a> But of course it should be PINNED!!! Sure, I could bookmark it, as was suggested to me 2 weeks ago, but then I need to search my bookmarks for something that should be obvious, and I'm not going to remember to search my bookmark anyway... And of course the search function for forums is a complete joke.

There are lots of threads that could be pinned. In particular, if you are curious about where to post an issue, this (pinned) thread in the bug forum acts as a directory. That being said, it needs to be updated more diligently.

I PRESUME this is the right place to post this bug, though if it's not please do redirect me! Whenever I drag and drop a new spell into a PC sheet (D&amp;D 5e by Roll20), the spell seems to have the correct spell school applied: "Transmutation" (uppercase) for example. However, clicking the spell to put the card in chat always results in the spell showing as "abjuration" (lowercase). Going into the editor for the spell, once you click another school, it then shows in the chara sheet and spell card as the one you clicked: ex. "transmuation" (lowercase). I mention the cases because it's completely consistent: the spells that have their spell school capitalized in the character sheet always improperly show as abjuration when put in chat, and the ones that are lowercase in the character sheet don't have this issue. And dragging and dropping a spell ALWAYS results in its school showing as capitalized in the character sheet until you edit it. So, SHIT'S WEIRD. Not unfixable by any means, but very, VERY weird. EDIT: Relocated to appropriate thread. Thank you @kiethcurtis!

Bug - Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus High Hall Catacombs Map The map has the wrong measurements for square sizes. Should be 5ft squares (when compared with the map on DDB). Not sure if this is the case for the other High Hall maps, but could be worth a check.

Confirmed. The map is indeed incorrect when referenced against the print edition. It is labeled in the book as 1 square = 10 feet. The module has the doubled the number of squares for clarity of play, but the scale was not re-set back to 5ft per square to compensate. I.e. the narrower halls should be 10 feet wide, but they measure 20. This is true of all the High Hall maps.

Marshall and Keith - Thank you for the report and for the confirmation! I'll get a ticket into the production team's hands and we'll patch this. Alan - Spellcasting on the Roll20 sheet is determined by spellcaster level and some SRD creatures (acolyte and flameskull come to mind) do not align with the system's typical number of spell slots for a creature of their spellcasting level. A workaround is to change the character sheet to a PC, edit the spell slot section to include an additional slot, and change the character sheet back to an NPC.
Pretty minor bug today. The Mummy Lord in the Roll20 SRD lists its Damage Vulnerabilities as Bludgeoning, but in both in the WotC SRD document and in the Monster Manual, its Damage Vulnerabilities is to Fire, not Bluegeoning. <a href="https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Mummy%20Lord#content" rel="nofollow">https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Mummy%20Lord#content</a>
