The more a character has, the more difficult it is to read the list and make sure it is correct. I just recently made a long statement about the confusing and useless nature of Spellbook, and that seems to apply here too. Please correct your items to include a type. - Githyanki Silver Weapon +2 is not a weapon - Stonemeld Armor +2 is not an armor I would suggest, but that is purely a suggestion, that you look into spending some of the left over cash on damage boosters like armbands and/or a shard. Added levels and power type (Labeled the ones I got from Bladesinger as Features) Items are appropriately labeled Purchased those items as per your suggestion, seeing the difference.
Do you need another journal, or can you rework the one you have ?
First character made for 4e and for this game, any help appreciated if there are mistakes I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. Because 18, 14, 11, 11, 12, 12 cannot be it. 2) Your HP calculation is incorrect (low) 3) Your attack and damage work space are not correct. Please go through each check box and figure out what if anything needs to be filled out there. 4) Assuming you took Skill Training as your racial bonus feat, I am not sure how you got yourself Action Surge feat as a free feat. Please explain. 5) There is a expertise feat missing from your list. Step 8 of the New Player Checklist 6) I do not know what FWT as Class feature means. A bonus to attack with a one handed weapon does not seem to work well with two feats you took for wielding two weapons. 7) I do not know what a light burst trident is While not mandatory, you can select a theme and the mechanical benefit of a background. Both of those can give your character flavor and power.

There seems to have been some confusion. The Hunter class is a subclass of the Ranger Class, but does not get Ranger powers. In the compendium it is fairly precisely described what features the Hunter gets instead of those Ranger powers. So your character do not get access to Nimble Strike, Throw and Stab, Split the Tree and all the others, and instead gets Archery Style, the Wilderness Knacks, Aimed Shot, Rapid Shot, Disruptive Shot and the rest as described for this specific class. It is entirely possible to either make a Hunter with the prescribed features, or a Ranger with a bow and those powers, but not both at the same time. If you want to talk about this, or any other 4e subject, feel free to contact one of the DMs to get added to the Guild Skype chat. My handle is baldhermit.

Bonuses of the same type never stack. For example Dragonic Spellcaster gives a Feat Bonus to attack and damage rolls. Staff Expertise also gives a feat bonus to attack rolls. You would not get a total of +2 to attacks for things that both feats apply to as you take the highest value and don't add them together. If you want a bonus to hit that does stack, consider picking up Superior Implement Training (Accurate Staff) Your AC needs your Sorcerer feature added to it. You can add a +3 (the difference between your dex and str) into either Misc or in the area where your armor normally goes. Would you break down your attack and damage bonuses for the two spells you picked? It might actually be a better idea to do Burning Spray and Melee Basic Attack as the two things in there as the numbers for Acid Orb and Burning Spray will be nearly identical. I think you added your bonus for your class feature to Spray, but not to orb, and didn't put your bonus from spellcaster in the damage of spray. I noticed that you also did not take a theme. You are not required to have a Character theme, so don't feel you are pressured to do so, but it is a thing that can be freely added to your character and does come with some benefits. Address those few things and repost when you are ready for another review.

Polearm Momentum requires Dex 15 AND Wis 15, not either. I think this might torpedo what you are going for out of the gate, so lets get that out of the way first. You spent all your money on Gauntlets of the Ram. The reason the rule exists where you can't buy a level 8 item is actually specifically so you aren't mostly naked with a really nice pair of gloves. (Check the restrictions on starting items on the New Player Checklist) Might just be blind, but what is your mechanical background? So... I feel like changing the first two might cause a ton of trickle-down changes and I'll have to redo the review anyway, so just repost when you fix these.

Ok fixed, I didn't know that, out of curiosity where is this rule mentioned? so i know if its something I've read and accidentally missed or just haven't read yet? 2. Fixed, just didn't know where exactly i was supposed to put that, probably should have asked :P. 3. Ok so, from what i found in the compendium the reason the damage on spray and orb is different is because a. Draconic Spellcaster only adds +1 etc if the power cast is an arcane power with the same damage type as dragon breath in this case fire, acid orb not being fire doesn't get that +1 from what i looked up. b. I thought that Draconic Power worked the same way but it seems it takes affect on any arcane power so that is added. Therefore orb should be 4(cha)+4(str)+2(enh)? either way i will change that to a Melee Basic Attack. 4. I didn't choose a theme because I couldn't find one that fit exactly what I wanted. https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1122018

Yeah, everyone does it a little different since you can't just tell it "use my STR damn it." You are in the right ballpark Draconic spellcaster would give you +1 to damage rolls with fire attacks, effectively, in this case. It would also give you a bonus to your breath as you took Ancient Soul to make your breath also arcane. Dragonic Power does in point of fact work with ALL your powers. So you get +STR mod damage on everything that is arcane (including breath, including acid orb). +10 is correct for Acid Orb. You Are free to not choose a theme if you do not want to do so. Firecrafter I think works pretty well with what you are going for, but you are welcome to not take anything. Everything else Looks fixed. I'll toss you a journal entry in game. Log in and start making your journal. Be sure to add yourself to the census at the bottom of the basic rules (or there should be a link on the checklist).

Changed my stat array to account for Polearm Momentum in the future. Its a tight fit, I just don't get to pad CON as I would have liked. Tending Strike At-Will changed to Grasping Tide. Took Melee Training (Wisdom) to buff my MBA, planning to take Polearm Momentum at a later level. 2. Bought a +1 Neck, +1 Weapon/Implement, and a +2 Armor. 3. While there is not anything actually wrong that I see on your character sheet, I would like to bring your attention to the note from the Checklist about not matching race with attack stat. If you are attacking with STR and you have a 17 STR with a Greataxe you are going to be a good bit behind the curve of someone with an 18 and a Greatsword. Not saying you can't but for most characters hitting is very important and you might find that a lot of your powers miss which makes things a bit less fun. That being said, if you find you want to change, you have a lot of time to mulligan if you find it is less fun. Your journal is waiting for you in game. Please list all the features you get from your race, class, theme, and PP. Please list the level 12 utility power you get from your paragon path. There seems to be an errant +1 to Acrobatics that I can't find the source of. Otherwise everything seems right. You know what to do. The +1 acrobatics was me accidentally forgetting to adjust acrobatic while working with item selection and changing items. All done now.

Earth-wrought Hammer needs to be labeled for what it is. I assume it is a Craghammer maybe? Your Amulet of Warding is not included in your defenses on your sheet. If you have power of skill, that will be your Valiant Strike all of the time. Check What this means is that you will never use Melee Basic Attack for anything. Power of Skill allows Valiant Strike to be used as a Melee Basic Attack and Valiant Strike is the same as Melee Basic Attack, but it has the added hit bonus for when people are around you (and since it is melee range, at least the guy you are smacking is next to you, so +1 to hit over Melee Basic Attack). That being the case, don't even put MBA on your sheet, just put Valiant Strike and Virtuous Strike as your two workspaces. When you get into game you also will need to have your Melee Basic Attack to always use Valiant (although you could also use Virtuous, but there are times it won't be better). Gotcha, theme is in there. Remember as a Guardian you get the theme power (which should be added to your list of powers at the bottom) but do not get the optional powers unless you take them INSTEAD of your normal powers. You have a good backstory (the explanation of your character's history) but you don't have a mechanical background associated with your character yet. Take a look at some of the backgrounds that exist and see if any of them appeal to you. Foe Killer or Goblin Foe will give you a small bonus to skills or access to the Goblin Language. Crusading Zealot would also fit the story and the paladin background as would Last of the Breed. Regardless it looks like you are pretty much set. I'll give you a journal entry. Make sure to join Guild Chat at some point on Skype. If you haven't talked to another DM you can send me a contact request at Gravymattingly and I can add you into chat.

Please mark down your current exp. 2. Your attack and damage workspaces aren't filled out. If you need help with doing them, refer to pages 274-276 of the PHB. 3. Please mark down which proficiency you're acquiring through White Lotus Dueling Expertise. If you aren't interested in any, consider War Wizard's Expertise instead as a direct upgrade to it. 4. Please fill out your maximum number of surges. 5. It is strongly not recommended to start play without a magic weapon. Your character's agency in combat depends on whether you can hit, and magic weapons are a significant contributor to accuracy. 6. Please mark down your class features. 7. Please mark down your languages spoken. 8. It is strongly recommended that characters have a backstory and personality of some sort. If you have one, please mark it down on the sheet. If not, it is recommended that you come up with one so as to make your character more than just a stat stick. 9. What kind of armour are you using? To my knowledge there is none with an armour bonus of +1 in heroic tier, so that can't be correct. 10. Your ability scores seem to be incorrect. Your array has only one 10, which is presumably your Charisma. But then it's denoted that you applied a total of +3 to Dexterity and ended up with 13 Dexterity, which is a contradiction. Similarly, your sheet says you have only one 15, but your Intelligence implies a 15 before additions. Please write back once you fix all these. Your Soul Eater attack and damage bonuses are incorrect - you are still benefitting from enhancement bonus of your implement on it. 2. You forgot that you have a class bonus to Non-AC Defences. 3. Changed feat from White Lotus Dueling Expertise, to White Lotus Riposte, which does not have any optional proficiency. 4. Filled out number of maximum Surges. 5. Replaced original weapon with a magic one. 6. Marked down Class Features 7. Spoken Languages are under 'Known Languages'. 8. The basic of my Characters background, appearance, and attitude is filled in. I wish to slowly create him during games from the skeleton of sorts that I can work off of. 9. Now equipped Agile Resolve Vestments for armor. 10. The Array I used was 16/15/12/11/11/10. I also have a racial bonus with +2INT and +2DEX. With my abilities arranged like so: STR/CON/DEX/INT/WIS/CHA, I matched up my score like so: 11/12/11/16/15/10. Adding my racial bonus, my score for INT is 18, and my DEX is 13.

My misinterpretation of expertise feats caused me to make the mistake of stacking the bonuses. 6. I recalculated my surges per day. It is now 9 rather than 8 from before. 7. I recalculated my maximum hit points. It is now 48 rather than 47 from before. Hopefully I correctly made the fixes. Thank you for your feedback! 1. This seems correct. 2. This seems correct. 3. Ok. 4. You still have redundancy between White Lotus Dueling Expertise and Rod Expertise. White Lotus Dueling Expertise doesn't give you anything whatsoever that Rod Expertise wouldn't give you - just in case, the Rod Expertise applies to your pact weapon as the pact weapon copies all properties of your implement, and everything that applies to your implement also applies to your pact weapon. 5. Ok. 6. Ok. 7. Ok. 8. Additionally, Rod Expertise should give you a +1 shield bonus. Please mark that down. After you fix those, you can proceed to writing your macros in the journal that I just made for you since you're close to completion.

Been reading and watching the video, but there may be some things namely attack and damage workspaces. I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1120338 1. 1. The current Exp, I don't know how to fill, the video did not explain that part, I did however enter the level and it automatically filled in what it could. 2. Filled out Attack/Damage Workspaces. Adding my racial bonus, my score for INT is 18, and my DEX is 13. 1. See page 29 of PHB. 2. They are incorrect. You should get proficiency bonus to attack on both your MBA and your greenflame blade. Intelligent blademaster lets you use INT for melee basic attacks, therefore you should mark down INT to attack and damage for melee basic attacks. I do not understand where are you getting feat bonuses. You should add enhancement bonuses to attack and damage. 3. White Lotus Riposte is not an Expertise feat and thus not a legal choice for your free Expertise feat. 4. Ok. 5. Ok, however you haven't adjusted numbers for it. 6. Ok. 7. Ok. 8. Ok. 9. But what kind of armour is it? Cloth? Leather? Hide? Chain? Scale? Plate? None of those gives +1 armour bonus to AC, instead they are 0/2/3/6/7/8 respectively. 10. You get +1 to two ability scores of your choice at level 4. It is even written on your sheet: "Level 4: +1 Int/+1 Dex", so it surprises me that you missed that. Please write back after you correct these issues.

Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1123944 Welcome to the Guild Living. I would like for you to take a minute and check the New Player Checklist again. There are a lot of basic things that are missing from this entry. If you don't know how to do something, it is ok to read up and give it your best shot, but we need to see where you are getting numbers from. You need to put your array, racials and level bumps somewhere easy to see (the video shows you where to put them) Your attack and damage workspace need to be filled out You have a cloak, but no enhancement bonus listed (I assume it is +1). Please write out on your sheet what enhancement bonus your cloak is and put that number in the Enh column for your non-armor defenses. You are wearing non-magic leather as a class who can wear chain and hide and also magic armor is one of the three 'must purchase' items. Please refer to the New Player Checklist. Label your powers as described in the video, also I don't see your Kalashtar racial power listed. Resonating Covenant gives you a feat bonus to attack rolls that will not stack with the feat bonus to attack rolls you get from Staff Expertise. I do not normally offer feedback on taking legal feats, however this feat literally does nothing for you. Avandra's Covenant as a feat is not a legal feat. In order to take that feat you have to worship Avandra and you worship Corellon. You selected the Devil's Pawn theme but did not list what you get from that theme in the powers section or in your features section. Where did you get those languages from? Kalashtar get common and Telepathy only. Your surges per day are incorrect Thusfar you do not have either a backstory or a mechanical background picked. While the mechanical background can be skipped, you do need to flesh out your character a little bit. Who is he? Where is he from? What is he like? Placed all necessary stats in the video's suggested area Filled out attack and damage spaces Changed Cloak to Amulet of Elegy and added enhancements Purchased Hide Bloodcut Armor Labelled powers as described in video Removed Resounding Covenant and added Group Mindlink Changed worshiped deity to Avandra (forgot to change on the top originally due to changing many times) Added Devil's Pawn Feats and Powers Languages corrected, elven added to languages through background Corrected Surges Added mechanical backstory and added flavor to character's history. Also, started from ground up so link is different. CORRECT LINK HERE: https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1124468 Your stats do not line up. For example your Wisdom is 19. Your highest stat on your array is 16 and you gave your level 4 bump to Con/Int. While it is a better idea to give your level 4 stat bump to your attack stat (wisdom) it does not look like that is what you did on your sheet. Take a minute and make sure the stats you have for your array match your stats for your character. Your attack workspace appears to be done correctly, however you only added +1 for enhancement on your damage workspace for some reason. You get full enhancement bonus to both attack and damage with those powers. Also, when selecting what to use as your two powers, you should pick things that are different. For you that should be Hand of Radiance and Melee Basic Attack. Check You are welcome to wear Hide, keep in mind your AC will be lagging behind a normal invoker for your level as you are able to take Chain but choosing not to. If you find that you are being mangled by combat you might want to look into getting heavier armor at a later date. It won't make a huge difference at +1 (Hide: 3(armor) + 2 (int) = +5, Chain: +6) it will start to increase as you continue to level up (+2 Hide offers 5 still, while Chain increases to 7). Again, not a huge deal but something to consider. Excellent Check Check Check When your background says "Perception added to class skill list" it means it adds it as an option, but does not provide training. As an invoker you get Religion +3 skills of your choice. Perception is not normally an option to take for one of those choices, but since your background allows it to be one, you can use one of your 3 trained skills on Perception. So you should end up with 4 trained skills and not 5. Check Looks good While it is not at all required, I would highly recommend checking out the guild New Items For Sale thread. Your weapon doesn't really do anything for you, but something like a Flaming Weapon would be really appropriate for your character and there is a +2 Flaming Weapon (Which you can make a staff) currently for sale that is less money than what you are currently spending on your weapon and will have a greater impact on your character. I wanted to make sure you knew you had access to items in that thread for your character and that the normal 'can only buy level 7 or lower' does not apply when you purchase items from guild mates. Almost there, fix those things and get back to me.

Yes we need you to actually fill everything out. "I built it on the builder" is not a substitute. Sorry I did not mean to imply that I didn't put everything on the sheet. Just said if their needed to be discussion about it I would be more then happy to go over it.
