I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1162652" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1162652</a> Hello there, and welcome to the guild. I cannot stress enough how highly it is recommended that you have your attack stat as your highest stat. It is one of the few things that we do try to get players to do in order to make them able to function. All of your abilities are based on STR and a 15 STR means you are going to have a rough time being able to land any of your cool abilities. Your HP appears to be off. Would you break down your calculations for me please? Weapon Expertise (Longsword) is not a feat that exists. Please check the link on the New Player Checklist for a list of expertise feats that exist. You could not have taken Armor Prof: Plate at level 1 as you would not have had 15 strength. There are rules on Thieves cant. I can't remember them and I'm tired, where did you find the language? Your attack and damage workspace are incomplete. Please fill these out. What power did you pick up with Dilettante? Bloodiron is too high of level to be purchased for a starting character, see the New Player Checklist I think you mean to have a heavy shield but dont have one listed on your sheet. I like the backstory, however it looks like you did not pick up either a background or a theme. These are not required, but they can help flesh out your character both flavorfully and mechanically. Please address these issues and repost. 1) Thank you, but I would like to keep the attribute spread that I currently have. This is a personal choice. 2) Fighter 1st Level 15 + Constitution Score (21) + 6 per Level * 4 levels = 15+21+24 = 60hp 3) I meant to put Weapon Expertise (Heavy Blade) sorry 4) Switched this feat to level 4, after my strength would have been 15 5) Unlearned, learned Orcish 6) Completed this 7) Sorry, didn't have it listed, it was Bull's Strength, it is listed now 8) Woops, you're right. Changed it to basic Magic Armor +2 9) Listed now under "Other Items" 10) Sorry, wasn't sure if I was supposed to just put it there or not. It's the Half-Elf (Cultural Half-Elf) background, and the Guardian theme, added it as bullet points in my background. There are very few requirements we have for players to be functional. Being able to hit or doing something that doesn't require hitting is actually one of them. Your prowess is not currently at the level that the guild would hire you on as a mercenary. The way the game is balanced in the guild is, typically, adding a monster or in other ways adjusting up to compensate for an additional player. From a meta perspective, in a team game such as this, it is not just your choice to contribute or not. With a +9 vs AC for negligible damage you will not count for your monster add (The average monster you will encounter will have an average AC of 21, so you miss on an 11 or lower (55% of the time). This is not fun for anyone involved. Again we don't require a crazy build, or the utmost optimization, we do require that you function on the most basic levels to be hired on with the guild. If you want a Con primary defender class, please check Battlemind or you can play as a Half-Elf Knight instead of a Half-Elf Fighter where you can make everything you do about Constitution. Cool. I wager the first time around you missed the 1 hp from leveling up your con. Heavy Blade Expertise you mean? Check Also not a language. Type in 'languages' in the glossary on the compendium to get a list of languages and who speaks them. Check Check Please list the other item you bought in your magic items. Check Theme, ideally, goes somewhere on the first page. I also don't see Guardian's Counter listed as a power. I just noticed that I do not see the level 5 skill bonuses (or your racial bonuses) to skills included in your skills. Please make sure you have the bonuses to skills in the Misc section. 1) My character is an optimized Defender. He is still capable of hitting his enemies (and as a fighter doesnt even need to hit in order to mark them.) With my Shield Feint I also get a +3 to my next strike afterwards. The character that I am playing is much stronger than I believe may come across to you. He is a self-sufficient tank that forces enemies to target him. Anything that attempts to so otherwise is at a -2 to hit his allies AND provokes another attack from him, basically doubling the damage against those targets. I am trading just a +1 or +2 for solid survivability and great protection for my allies and a double attack every single turn if they do not engage me. 2) I think so, all good now 3) Changed 4) Checked already 5) Dwarven 6) Checked 7) Checked 8) Listed Heavy Shield under magic items as well 9) Checked 10) Put it on the first page as well, and power in powers 11) My skill bonuses are showing for me, and my racial bonuses have been entered. 2-7: k 8: I meant the gloves you bought in the money section, but they aren't in your magic items 9-10: K 11: Look at Guardian Level 5 feature. On to your point about your fighter and your attack stat. In order for Shield Feint to give you an attack bonus it needs to hit in the first place. And yes, you can effectively bring a -2 to an enemy or two as your contribution to the party. But you will usually miss, and when they violate mark you will also usually miss. Double attacks that miss is not helping the case much. I've played fighters, I've written guides for fighters, He is very self-sufficient, but also the DM has no reason to attack you under most circumstances. 2-7): K 8): Added gloves 9-10): K 1) I adjusted my strength and constitution to your liking, but am a little disappointed at the inflexibility given during the creation of my character. I was under the impression that the game is more about storytelling and less about munchkin dungeon crawling, as that was how the game was presented to me.
