Which might be relevant later as you gain access to other means of getting an enhancement bonus. Same type bonuses do not stack. new 6 : what feat did you take that gives you a bonus to reflex ? 4) Moved the bonus to the appropriate box. 6) Looked into it and I'm not sure where it came from, so I removed it. When you hit Join Game, in the top right corner you will find a Journal to be filled out. The video #2 posted in the New Player Checklist will probably be useful for this. In the mean time, if you want to talk about D&D, ask questions, or hear about impromptu games, ask one of our DMs to add you to our Skype Chat. My handle is baldhermit. Once you're done with the journal, ask one of the DMs to check it. They can then make you a token.

Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1411385" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1411385</a> Hello and welcome to the Guild 1. LV4 and all further stat bumps should always go to your two highest stats or you should pick another array because that way you get more in the remaining stats (if I remember correctly, 17/15/13/10/10/8 and 17/15/12/11/10/8 are two legal options that you are probably most interested in).&nbsp; Here 's a post explaining why 2. You have too few skills trained 3. Yes, please list the Guardian Might choice under race features and not powers 4. Fix the typo on&nbsp;Rampant Fo r rest 5. Check Penalty box should not be empty. If you don't have one, put zero 6. Dwarvish is not a language. You are looking for Dwarven 7. Optional &nbsp; While not mandatory, you are allowed to take one character theme, and the benefit of one&nbsp; background . Backgrounds is a big list with Auspicious Birth and Arcane Student Who Saw Too Much as two common choices. These could give your character more flavor and/or power. Note that the powers with level numbers on them in theme are options to your choices at those levels. The ones without numbers are usually gained by taking the theme (which is usually also listed under Theme features that you gain them) A journal is waiting for you in the top right after you hit Join Game. Please post a response as to what new choices you made as part of 1., 2. and optionally 7. Fill that out, and when you're done, contact one of the DMs to get that checked out. Either by leaving a message in this forum or (ideally) via Skype chat. They can then make you a token. If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, please contact one of the DMs to get added. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1411385" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1411385</a> 1. Changed to 17/15/13/10/10/8 array 2. Trained athletics (dunno how I forgot to do that) 3. Fixed 4. Fixed (no longer Rampant Forrest (Gump)) 5. Fixed 6. Fixed (Isn't it called dwarvish in other fantasy or is that just an adjective to describe things that are dwarf-ish? idk) 7. I added the Guardian Theme into the class features box and the Theme Power: Guardian's Counter. 7.1. Decided not to do a Background Thank you so much for your help :) 1. through 7. Thanks 6. Even within D&D it depends on the edition, some editions call it dwarvish and some dwarven Next step is filling out the journal and have that checked, since all points were minor corrections I gave the journal at the previous step. I just wanted a response here to check that the new choices were all legal
Hey there! I gotta say, I'm really excited to join the guild. I did not think it would be this easy to jump online and find such a huge community to play with. I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1414012" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1414012</a> I'd love some feedback on the build too. I think Xude&nbsp;Scaleborn the Dragonborn Paladin is looking pretty deadly, but I picked a lot of new powers, armor, and feats I'd never heard of before.

Not critical, but you're missing your current HP 2. In your HP calculation, please add your stat (Intelligence) and do some minor readability cleanup (throw a linebreak between your HP and surge calc) 3. In your Class Features, please shorten your entries to the names and relevant choices (like Bastard Sword for Blade Magic) 4. Also, please add the level the Theme features are unlocked at 5. Please add to your powers their level and source, for example "Magic Missile (Wizard At-Will 1)" 6. In your expenditures, please include your starting gold (at the point of the mulligan) and any discounts (from buying from the thread, for example), as well as items you got from item drops in the calculation, since it otherwise looks like you're exceedingly wealthy for a level 6 character

Normally you are added to the player list when you accept the invite that is sent as a response to your post describing your interest to join the Guild (so even before you post here). Maybe the screen name was different for some weird reason which would make you show under that name in our list. Tl;dr I had mechanical difficulties, you or hermit solved them

Hi Dylan, welcome to the Guild Living campaign 1) Please fill out your current XP 2) there is no point in doing the same calculation twice. I would recommend you do the attack and damage math for a melee basic and a ranged basic. 3) at least 2 feats missing from your list 4) Please reread step 9 of the New Player Checklist 5) while not mandatory, you could select the mechanical benefit of a background, and choose a character theme. Either / both of those could give your character more flavor and or power. Once you're done reviewing this, and please take your time, please repost using the quote function and indicate with the same numbers I used to let us know what (if anything) you changed. In the mean time, you can contact one of the DMs to get added to the Guild Skype chat. My handle is baldhermit.

I just wanted to get one done for future events.&nbsp; Anyway thank you for the advice At 1 : my bad, i guess we do not explicitly say anywhere that level 5 characters have 5500XP At 2a : I figured you wanted to do the math on a melee basic because you got yourself those 14 points in Strength. A Wyrmtooth Dagger can be used to make a melee attack with, but on the top right of page 2 you did not list an enhancement bonus for the dagger you bought. I doubt however you'd get a Wyrmtooth dagger with a +2 enhancement bonus for 520 gp At 2b : The attack calculation for Preparatory Shot leaves me questioning some things. What weapon are you making this attack with? Because I would like for you to show me an attack calculation with the crossbow, using the crossbows proficiency bonus and the crossbow expertise feat. At 3 : check At 4 : While you are certainly free to buy more weapon, the critical bit from Step 9 I wanted you to read I will now quote : "You need to buy these things first (Yes you need magic items of all big 3 before any DM will approve your character): 1) Weapon or Implement 2) Neck Item 3) Armor " As it stands, you have made a character wearing mundane armor. Please address that. At 5 : check

Make sure to test your macros using /talktomyself before asking a gm to review them.
I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1414503" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1414503</a> First time really making a character so my apologize for any goofs. All i got left I believe is to make macros. Hello Matthew, and welcome to the Guild. I've looked over your sheet and got a few pointers and suggestions for you: 1. While not wrong, your attributes are a bit all over the place. It is highly recommended to start with at least an 18 in your main attribute (in your case Wisdom). You can find the reasoning behind this as well as some sample arrays here 2. Some of your defense entries are wrong: - Improved Armor of Faith increases the bonus your class grants by 1, it is not a Feat bonus - You're either missing your neck slot or your class bonuses, but you do not have a +1 Misc bonus to all NADs, you should have +1 to all under Class and +1 to all under Enh. 3.&nbsp; Please enter your base array, as well as your racial and level increases to attributes in the Statistic Block 4. Similarly, please enter your HP calculation (can be as simple as Base HP+Attribute+HP per Level) 5. Under Quick Look-Up, the damage for Fury's Advance is incorrect and should only be +1, as you're not adding any attribute to it 6. Again, not wrong, but you can choose a mechanical Background and a Theme to give your character a bit more flavour and/or power 7. Your attack calculation is wrong, as both Master at Arms and Mighty Crusader Expertise grant you a Feat bonus to attack rolls which does not stack 8. Please note the level you gained each feat at in the Loc. column 9. Also, please rework your powers to include their source and level (for example "Overwhelming Strike, Avenger At-Will 1" 10. You're missing entries for your various item powers 11. Please include a detailed breakdown of your expenses Once you've reviewed your sheet, please reply to this post using the quote function. While you're doing that, contact a DM to get added to the Skype chat. You can find me under Saladful.

You also have the level 5 feature of your Theme, please add that. Other than that, sheet looks alright to me.

Hello, just to be entirely clear, is this a mulligan or a second character? Either way, I've looked over your sheet and got a few pointers and suggestions: 1. By my calculations, you have only spent 12 out of 22 points on your attributes 2. Also, please add your basic array as well as racial and level increases to attributes to the Statistic Block 3. Your HP are wrong, please add your HP calculation (can be as simple as Base HP + Attribute + HP per Level) to the Statistic Block 4. Please add your Surges under HP 5. Your defenses are incorrect: - What is the Misc. bonus to AC? I assume it is your armour, please add it to the Quick Look Up-section - Same as above, what is your Misc. bonus to NADs? The bonus from your Healer's Brooch is an Enhancement bonus, please move it to the correct column - Firesoul grants you a +1 bonus to Reflex (under Misc.) - Warlord grants you a +1 bonus to Fortitude and Will (under Class) 6. Please add your Armor and Shield bonuses to the Quick Look Up section, and tag the "Armor is Heavy" checkbox 7. You still have to fulfill any prerequisites for your free Expertise feat, since Warlord isn't proficient with Holy Symbols, you can not take Devout Protector Expertise 8. Please note the level at which you gained each feat under the Loc. column 9. Technically not wrong, but keep in mind that your Improved Inspiring Word feat scales with your Charisma modifier, of which you have none. However, since you still have a lot of points left to spend on attributes, you might want to invest there 10. Similarly, your Insightful Presence scales with Wisdom and Charisma modifiers, both of which are at 0 11. You're missing a class feature, as you can choose between Battlefront Leader, Canny Leader and Combat Leader 12. +6 AC from chainmail is not an item, as mentioned above, note your armor values under Quick Look Up 13. Your attack rolls under Quick Look Up are wrong. 3[W] means you roll your weapon's damage dice three times, not the attack roll. Also, whether or not they are vs. AC is irrelevant unless you gain bonuses when attacking specific defenses 14. In the same vein, your damage rolls are wrong, please fix accordingly 15. Please note the source and level of each of your powers, for example "Intuitive Strike, Warlord At-Will 1" 16. As with 9. and 10., some of your powers' effects scale with charisma, of which you have none 17. You're missing some of your item powers, namely your shield and gauntlets 18. As with 15., please accurately name your item powers, "Daily Power From Armor" is not sufficient. You could, for example, name it something like "Armor of Dwarven Vigor, Item Daily" 19. Please note the enhancement bonus for each of your items in the Magic Items & Equipment Section 20. Also, please add a detailed breakdown of your expenses under Coins and Other Wealth 21. Please add a short description of your character under Traits or Mannerisms, to give him a bit of personality. It doesn't need to be much, but a few sentences are welcome 22. While not wrong, you can choose a mechanical Background and/or a Theme for your character to give him a bit more flavour or power Once you've fixed the mentioned issues, please reply to this post using the quote function. Cheers

Warpriest said: Second leader character. Before we continue on then, I must inform you that your second character must be of a different role than the first, meaning you can not have a second Leader. I didn't mention it before as I wasn't sure whether this was to be a replacement or a new one. You can find the rules regarding alts here under Alts Whether you decide to completely change your second character or mulligan your first (who going by his XP has zero games under his belt) into a different role is up to you, but one of them will have to be changed.

Your number of Healing Surges per day seems off, can you show me the math below your math for HP 4. What weapon are you using? Farbond Spellblade is the enhancement, but what's the mundane weapon it's applied to? Longsword is a common option. Same question about armor, Flowform is the enhancement 5. Aegis doesn't technically have a level, it's just a class feature 6. Optional There are two options to your Expertise Feat choice:&nbsp;War Wizard's Expertise and&nbsp;White Lotus Dueling Expertise. Backgrounds is a big list with Auspicious Birth (not really the background for you since you are CON-based) and Arcane Student Who Saw Too Much as two common choices. This could give your character more flavor and/or power. Please post a response as to what choices you made as part of 3., 4., 6. and 7. A journal is waiting for you in the top right after you hit Join Game. Fill that out, and when you're done, contact one of the DMs to get that checked out. Either by leaving a message in this forum or (ideally) via Skype chat. They can then make you a token. If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, please contact one of the DMs to get added.

If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, contact one of our DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit 1) For your HP, you get to use you _current_ constitution score 2) For your surge count, I am not sure how you got to your listed number. Could you show the math on that? 3) it seems your ability score got lost in the calculation of your will defense 4) you do not need mundane versions of the magic gear you possess, unless you enjoy carrying doubles around. 5) while not wrong, why did you buy a craghammer? Between it, the throwing hammer and the bracers, you might have the cash for Iron Armbands. 6) could you indicate levels of the powers chosen on page 2, that would make it easier to understand at a glance. See also step 7 of the New Player Checklist 7) the prices listed in the Coins and Other Wealth (thanks for that breakdown) all seem off. Please note you do not have to purchase the mundane version of gear first. The price of a magic item include the cost of mundane. So 680gp gets you Stoneborn Plate armor, both the armor and the enhancement. 8) As a Dwarf your character speaks the language named Dwarven Please take your time to review above. When you are done, please repost using the quote function, and indicate per number what - if any - changes you made.

My handle is baldhermit 1) please indicate with your starting array in the statistic block where you placed your racial bonuses, and your level 4 boosts. 2) under Quick lookup please fill out the check penalty. Even if the value that you enter is zero, please let us know what the value is for your character. 3) your attack calculation seems to be missing. Please try to fill out each box as appropriate for your chosen character. I would recommend Staggering Note and Aggravating Force as powers to do this math on. 4) your damage calculation seems to be missing. Please try to fill out each box as appropriate for your chosen character. Please do this for the same powers as in point 3 5) you seem to not have selected an expertise feat as indicated by Step 8 of the new Player Checklist. Also, per that same step, indicate at what level you got each feat please. 6) please read and follow step 9 of the New Player Checklist 7) For your chosen powers on page 2, please indicate their level and use as per instructions of step 7 of the New Player Checklist. This all seem nitpicky, but the idea is that some DM midgame can glance at your sheet and understand it. 8) leather armor is not heavy (boxed check under quick lookup) and does not give an armor bonus of 5 While not mandatory, you are free to select the mechanical benefit of a background, and select a character theme. Both of those can give your character flavor and power. If you do select one or both of these, please list them under your class features. Please take your time to review above. When you reply, please use the quote function, and indicate per number what - if anything - you changed.

But that does not change the overall static damage score. When you hit Join Game, in the top right corner you will find a journal to fill out. Once that is done contact one of the DMs either by leaving a message on this here forum, or (ideally) via Skype so that can then make you a token.

There are some cheap Iron Armbands on the sale thread, to save you some cash
