My handle is baldhermit 1) fixed 2) was an error, now it is fixed 3) great idea thanks (fixed) 4) fixed ok I can do that later today thanks. Hi Bobert, if you hit Join Game there will be a journal waiting for you to be filled out. When that is done, notify a DM (ideally on Skype chat) to look it over and make you a token.
Liviu S. said: Yes very sorry i was not sure if i had to post changes too or not...i will do it from now on. Now to see your points. i will try to confront only the ones that are not checked. Fixed...was a lil confused at first on that. Problem is that the background does not give me any bonus....in fact it only gives me a bonus skill list to choose from from what i read...but i might be wrong...if so please assist me on that one. Since it was a feat of the theme i put it in calss/path/destiny as well as smite undead and healing word.....i guess the ones from theme must be in power section? changed it anyway. Also thank you everyone for your patience and help in setting this first character...i know i am kind of a burden now but i will try to be less in the future. edit: sorry forgot the sheet link https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1128658 Made you a journal. When you Join Game you will see it. Start filling it out, when you think all your macros are set up, notify one of the DMs to check them over. If that is done a DM can make you a token

EDIT: I'm having problems accessing the game and my journal. I keep getting the red connection message box, I haven't managed to connect even once.

It states " Dagger, hand crossbow, shortsword, shuriken, sling." on the Compendium for Rogue (Scoundrel) weapon proficiency. Is this wrong? 5. Moved Theme and Mechanical background to Statistic box.

Ad 4: The rogue is proficient with all those weapon groups, and you can use the short swords you bought and equipped. Your choice is not technically wrong. I was just pointing out the benefit gained from the Scoundrel Weapon Talent. You do not have to change your choice of weapon. All we've got left to discuss is the AC.

And keep in mind that you can't use Guardian's Counter or Stalk and Strike while mounted without having Mark of Handling or Mounted Combat, which you don't seem to be planning to take soon. Other than that, everything seems to be in order. Feel free to use your pre-mulligan journal for your macros.

First character I've ever made. I think I did it all right. I'm definitely also open to any suggestions on improvements. Also, I plan on eventually drawing my own picture. The class is called Rogue, not Rouge. 2. Increased Initiative is not the name of a feat. 3. I do not understand what "Poisoned H C" means. Judging by the numbers, it is supposed to represent your long-range dagger, but the abbreviation is in no way intuitive. 4. I can't find the source for your +1 feat bonus to damage for both of your weapons. 5. Your conditional modifiers describe surprising charge, but don't mention that it requires combat advantage to function. I am pointing this out in case you might be misunderstanding how it works. Please respond after you've fixed these. As mechanical errors seem to be very minor (only the +1 feat bonus to damage that I can't find the source of), I have created a journal entry for you and you can begin working on your macros as soon as you correct these issues.

Derp... I keep doing that... 2. Improved not Increased... 3. That was just me missing replacing it. Had a poisoned hand crossbow in there before. 4. +1 feat bonus was from light blade expertise. Didn't see that it was only on combat advantage. Moved to conditional modifiers. 5. Gotcha, I'll add it in there as a reminder to myself.

I think you are meaning +2 for Iron Armbands of power, which is in addition to Enhancement bonus to damage rather than instead of it. When you do add Dragon Breath into the mix, your attack bonus is incorrectly labeled on it. You either forgot the built in scaling of the power or half level. You cannot benefit from both a magic shield and a magic arms slot. They share a slot. This means, practically speaking, you need to either have a mundane shield or not have your iron armbands. Your GP total is not correct (its 15gp too high so I think you just forgot to pay for your kit) Nearly perfect rough draft. Fix the few things I listed and repost.
To my knowledge this thread is now up to date. If anyone is still waiting on feedback for their sheet or journal entry please speak up (if your stuff is ready) as something might have fallen through the cracks.
Thanks! 1. Added it under "background" 2. Done 3. Done 4. Completely read over that haha, got it 5. Daaang, I dropped it and bought Gauntlets of Ogre Power +1 & Casque of Tactics +1 instead 6. Fixed

Daaang, I dropped it and bought Gauntlets of Ogre Power +1 & Casque of Tactics +1 instead 6. Fixed Try to quote a DM's reply when you can. I appreciate you responding in list form, but having a good chunk of the conversation together speeds up the process. Check Check Check Check The only items with scaling enhancement bonuses are weapons, implements, armor and necklaces. You will want to take the +1 label off of the Gauntlets as it does not scale at all. You will also want to denote the tiered scaling of the helm like so: Casque of Tactics (Heroic). Check The only things left to do are minor text fixes, so I'll toss you a journal entry. Log into the game and get started on your macros.

Hi, i've finished my journal in the game, it's under "Rhogar Myastan"
I am in need of a token for Alban Eilir. His journal has already been approved by Blooper. Thanks.

Richard I. said: Hi, i've finished my journal in the game, it's under "Rhogar Myastan" Corrections for your Journal: 1. Why is your initiative rolling at +6 when your init on your sheet is +3? 2. Where are the rest of your skill macros? 3. You do not have an RBA macro finished 4. Why is your bonus with Virtuous Strike +12 to hit and your MBA (which should be just Virtuous Strike) say +11? 5. You skipped the Special line for Ardent Strike. You could instead make a macro for charging with Ardent Strike but you should do one or the other. 6. Valorous Smite's secondary effect has to hit to work so it should not be on a separate line. 7. Avenging STrike does not have a trigger or proper target line. Also the immobilize is on hit only. 8. Virtue: /me spends a healing surge but regains no hit points. I instead gain [[@{Surge Value}]] Temporary hit points. 9. Things like Frenzying Smite will sound much less wierd if you use active voice. "If it hits I deal [[]] damage, push the target up to 2 squares and I shift up to 3 squares to square adjacent to the target". This goes for all of your abilities. It is a suggestion not a requirement. 10. You should mark on Lay on Hands how often per day you can use it. 11. Divine Challenge does not need to have the extra wording in it for each use, but please be aware that the mark ends if you do not engage the target. 12. For Dragon's Breath you will want to specify "Lightning damage" as well as include more than 1 attack roll. I find that 4 tends to be a good number for Breath. 13. Refer to your Charisma Modifier in Divine Mettle Macro 14. Refer to your Strength Modifier in Divine Strength Macro 15. You are missing all the macros for your equipement 16. You need to have prompts or some way of adding to your damage and hit in your macros. +?{Attack Bonus|0} on each attack roll in a macro and +?{Damage Bonus|0} on each damage roll in a macro would allow you to add situational bonuses into the macros. 17. You need critical damage somewhere. You can either make a separate macro for critical hitting based on the power or you can include crit damage in each macro. Something like "If it hits, it deals [[1d10+5]] damage (crit: [[1d8+15]] Fire and Radiant damage) and the target is subjected to my Divine Sanction until the end of my next turn." 18. You need to have a reminder Macro for Devout Protector's Expertise.

You need to list your Array, Racial bonuses and level 4 stat increase choices. You seem to be missing a point. No Theme or Mechanical Background selected. While optional you might want to look into something that would add to the feel you are going for with this character. Your Hit points are off (So your bloodied and surge value are off). Break down how you get to your HP total for me. Note in particular that level 1 HP is based on con SCORE not con MOD. You appear to be missing a skill. Rangers get 5, you have 4 currently. Twin Strike does not get ability to damage. So your bonus to damage with Twin Strike should be +2 and not +6. Your defenses are correct, however it is important to label the defense bonus you get from your feat correctly. You want to put the shield bonus to the right of where the armor bonus is on the sheet. If you put a '1' in there it will add to the appropriate defenses. It is important to note that it is a shield bonus so it won't stack with other shield bonuses (most notably Devout Protectors Expertise is common in parties) and will stack if you decide to take Improved Defenses later. Your Acrobatics skill is incorrect (look at your feet!) When you get a minute try to flesh out your personality on the character a little more. How does the character act, what does the character care about etc etc. Post the corrections and we can go from there.

Hope y'all can help! :D 1. As a Bladesinger, you use Intelligence rather than Strength for your Melee Basic Attack, thanks to the Instinctive Attack class feature. Please adjust your workspaces and quick lookup for that. 2. You do not need to have two different Expertise Feats to cover your different attacks, in case there is misunderstanding. You technically can, but there's not much reason to. I also don't see how are you getting a +2 feat bonus to attack on your melee basic attacks. I see only a source of +1 bonus on your sheet. Perhaps you thought that expertise feats stack, but bonuses of the same type never stack in D&D. 3. Have you bought all 3 of your items through the thread? The costs seem to suggest that, but that isn't marked down anywhere on your sheet. 4. As you have to select your prepared powers before adventures begin and without knowing what the adventure is about, your sheet has to have marked which powers you have prepared. Because of this, in Guild setting, it's generally recommended for wizards to ignore the spellbook feature. 5. You should have level 1 Daily Bladesinger powers selected. 6. Your level 5 Bladesinger powers are Daily, not Encounter. 7. Dazzling Sunray is not an attack against AC and doesn't have a damage roll. 8. Your Quick lookup should include a power with meaningfully different statistics from your Melee Basic, such as, say, Colour Spray. 9. You should mark down which kind of weapon are you using. Longsword? Rapier? Dagger? Shortsword? Something else? 10. You should mark down which kind of armor are you wearing. Cloth? Leather? Hide? 11. You should mark down the bonus to AC from Guarded Flourish. 12. The +1 bonus to AC from Shielding Blade doesn't stack with Guarded Flourish. Regardless, it shouldn't be put in the Shield Bonus field, as the sheet automatically applies that field to both AC and Reflex, while Shielding Blade provides only AC. Please reply once you have fixed these issues. 13. You should mark down theme features and powers.

17. From what i understand Crit is based off my weapon, but i'm not using my melee weapon for either of those attacks. 18. Fixed 1-15 and 18 I'll check once you get the other 2 sorted. 16. What this does is give you a prompt. So [[1d10+5+?{Attack Bonus|0}]] in a macro will make a popup show up every time you use the macro. It sets the default amount to 0, so it assumes you don't have any bonuses. If you have, for example, combat advantage you can type 2 in there when the prompt pops up and it will give the value for that attack bonus to 2 so your total attack shows correctly. The goal of doing it like this is so the number that pops out of the other side doesn't need a lot of extra explanation. "23 vs AC, but I have CA so 25 and the warlord gave me a +1 so 26" is way easier if your macro just has the ability for you to type in '3' as a bonus and the output becomes 26. 17. Crits get extra damage based on your magic weapon or implement. If the attack doesn't have a weapon or implement associated with it, then it is just max damage for the power.

Hey there. Lets get this character situated. Excellent job showing your work with stuff. This sort of stuff makes it easy for me to check. Dex/Wis is not an option for Half-Elves. Con/Wis is, but Dex is not a half-elf racial option. You will want to put things you will actually use in your Attack Workspace. I'd recommend Overwhelming Strike and MBA. Also you get a +2 feat bonus from your feat, so it should be included in your calcs under feat bonuses. Adept Dilettante counts as [MC Ranger] for you, so you want to denote that. Armor Prof: Scale requires that you have prof in chain. As an avenger you only have prof in cloth. I know you haven't taken this yet, but it looks like you are planning on taking it at 6 and I want to be clear that you cannot do that. You did not purchase your big three. Please do that. Your character is going to be a lot less fun while it is bleeding out on the ground. There is a reason we tell people to buy weapon/armor/neck first. You need Languages. Your sheet says your theme is wilder. It also shows you have a were-theme. Which is it? Also keep in mind that the powers from a theme (excluding the entry feat if any) are options and not taken in addition to what you already have. So you won't have both Resonant Escape and Wolf's Vitality but a choice of one or the other. Also keep in mind if you get minor bonuses from your theme/background/etc you should include it on your sheet. The HP from auspicious birth is well done, but if you are a were-theme you need to denote the +2 power bonus to intimidate etc. Post your sheet once you get done with corrections and we can keep on keepin on.

There we go, i've finished 16 and 17

Check You really want to combine some of those. "Athletics/Dungeoneering/Heal/Insight/Nature/Perception/History: +3" will keep the whole cheat from getting flooded. Check Check. Check K Needs to be on same line (more later) check Check Check The wording is still quite off on Challenge. You don't need a very detailed macro for challenge, but I'm primarily worried that there is confusion on how it actually works. We should take a minute to talk on skype in guild chat or through PMs. You need more attack rolls, not more damage rolls. With a burst or blast it all does the same damage roll, but has multiple attack rolls. So 1 damage roll, 4 attack rolls. Check Check Check Check Check So I'm making this a separate thing so I can better explain what I mean. When you have a power that has a specific effect on a hit, you need to have that on the same line and not separate. For example the way Frenzying Smite is done is the way it should be for everything. Don't put a new line that says "If hit, effect". Instead fold that into the power. If you separate them it looks like an effect rather than on-hit and/or will get ignored because players and DMs generally follow a rule of looking at the on hit line for hit effects.

I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1137148 Welcome to the Guild Living! 1. Array str:16, con: 10, dex: 12, Int: 8, wis: 16, Chr: 12 Racials Str. +2, Chr:+2 level 4 stat increase Str, Dex 2 Did not really understand the whole Mechanical Background thing, but have read it a few times, and think I got it. I picked Cursed do to her being born with Vampire blood. Added Bluff to my skill list. 3 fixed. Have been playing way to much 5e which uses mod. at level 1. 12+10+5+5+5+5+5=47 (have an extra 5 hp due to toughness) 4 Fixed 5 fixed 6 Fixed. Thought that Two-weapon Defense was a feat bonus due to it being a feat. Till I reread it. How do I add a shield bonus to Reflex? (I put it in Misc. for now) 7 fixed (mainly took them for the at-will, and forgot the bonus.) 8 I tried to add more. Always do better at making characters personalities as I play them. You need to update your sheet with stuff so I can see if things are still a bit off. You need to put this on your sheet. Also, if you switch that up just slightly, you end up with another point. Starting with 16/10/13/8/15/12 and giving +1 STR and +1 Wisdom leaves you with an additional point to spend in something. Thats fine, again put it on your sheet with the benefit you took. Check Check Check If you put a 1 in the shield bonus area it already gives you +1 to reflex. So take the Misc bonus out of Reflex. Check Thats fine. Mostly just want to get you thinking about stuff. Still need a few things added, but you are basically on the right track. Should be able to toss you a journal entry when you add the few missing things and fix your stats. 1 fixed I think. 2 fixed 6 fixed 1. Put your array on your sheet. Look at one of my characters as an example: https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=968468.... Don't just correct things, correct it and put it on the sheet. From what I can guess (and if you keep not putting up your array I can only guess) you are 1 point over budget now instead of 1 under budget. 2. Would much prefer it was on Pg1, but that's fine 1 I'm getting really confused. I originally used the array that was recommended in the video. Instead I will just use the one in the PHB. I did put it on the character sheet for you. 2.done

Post your sheet once you get done with corrections and we can keep on keepin on.. 1. Fixed Dex/Wis to Con/Wis, changed AC, array is now 10, 11, 16, 10, 17, 8 2. Changed Attack work space show Overwhelming Strike and MBA. Added +2 to attack from feat from Mighty Crusader Expertise? 3. added to denote MC Ranger in box and in Class as Avenger/Ranger 4. Removed Armor Prof. Scale and replaced it with Martial Dilattente 5. Replaced Armbands of Power with +1 Cloth of Sudden Recovery and +1 Amulet of Physical Resolved. Added bonuses from +1 Cloth Repulsion Armor and +1 amulet of physical resolve, Added Repulsion Armor Item power and denoted item from amulet of physical resolve bonus in text box 6. added common, elven, and giant to languages 7. Fixed theme from Wilder to Werewolf, removed wolf's vitality 8. added werewolf bonuses in text box regarding intimidate skill bonus
