While not wrong, it would appear you choose neither a theme nor the mechanical benefit of a background. Those can add both flavor and power to a character.&nbsp;Once you have addressed the two points above (and perhaps the theme/background, your choice on that) please repost. In the mean time if you wish to be part of the Skype Guild chat, contact one of the DMs to be added. My handle is baldhermit. 1) This has been added to the statistics block 2) It is from the knights Level 5 "Weapon Mastery" as it's not actually a feat bonus I've moved it into misc section, was just placed wrongly As for the Background bonus and theme the are the Background: Channeled Fury (+2) intimidate and the Character Theme: Mercenary. I had placed them into the "other notes" section as they are not race features or class/path/destiny features so I placed them into that section. If you can tell me where to apply these I will rectify this and then that should be everything. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1152801" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1152801</a>

new alt. Jozan Nalth. Praise the sun! I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Give it a shot, you might like it. Regarding this one: 1) please know you took two channel divinity feats. You cannot use both in the same encounter. Not technically wrong, but perhaps something you want to think over. 2) No such thing as a large shield. How are you proficient in a shield, any shield? Your defenses seem to indicate you are wielding a heavy shield. So those are wrong. 3) Your armor has an enhancement bonus not listed in your defenses. 4) page 3 is entirely bare, please give us some indication as to the character you are intending to play, particularly as I currently feel all my time on the previous incarnation was time wasted.

Oh my bad, Nevan Zigarot, the recently made character is now my main PC. Soz Ticonderoga, the first PC became my Alt PC. After a game or two, I realized that Nevan can do what Soz can and still be able to adapt to situations that Soz wouldn't be able to.&nbsp;Jozan&nbsp;is replacing Soz. I plan on getting Nevan to high paragon and, if luck lets it, possibly epic. 1) I planned to buy Symbol of Divinity and poach an Invoker utility(at a later level) to be able to regain the use of Channel Divinity for a total of 3 times in one encounter. I was about to edit my feat and replace it with a heavy shield prof. but it seems I lack the str to do that. I am trying to make a crit-fishing/vuln PC who supports as a healer but I think I will need to re-think this PC. As now I am wondering if I need the shield or just want the shield as a thematic component.
I'm a new player, and this is my first character following the rules given in the creation thread and other rules threads. Hope it's good! I have also, most definitely, read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have also gone ahead and read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium AND have access to the Online Compendium. The attack and damage calcs were in the die-button link on orokos. This won't be an issue with a mythweavers sheet. 3) I've added some background into the new sheet.&nbsp; As to the Bag of Holding, I've sold it as per your advice, and have bought a set of Resplendent gloves instead.&nbsp; <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1154429" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1154429</a>

This is a substantial mulligan of one of my characters so I figured I'd post it here just in case.&nbsp; I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I notice a few things to fix. 1) Hybrid Warden gets +1 to Fortitude OR Will defense, not both. Please pick one and update your defense value accordingly. 2) The Moonshae Isles background also gives you Elven as a language. Please list that under your known languages. 3) Being that this is a mulligan and it looks like the previous character did at least one adventure, you get to keep the gold you earned from previous adventures. 4) Speed is counted in squares, not feet - it should be 6 rather than 30. 5) Hide armor has a -1 check penalty, and Heavy Shield has a -2 check penalty. These stack, meaning many of your skill values are one too high. (Also please list that you have a heavy shield in the equipment list, along with your magic items) 6) I can't see from where you are getting a +3 bonus to Endurance. Please explain.

Journal provided, you seem to be at that point Also noticed that you could use 18, 13, 13, 10, 10, 8 starting array and add all your bonuses to DEX and CHA which would result in you having one more point of strength at this point Also please note that you Charge with CA attack isn't 5d8+11 damage, as you might charge (with AP) twice in a single turn, and Sneak Attack is once per turn, fix that

Did you notice that Dwarves are +2 Con with either +2 Wis or +2 Str. You also haven't marked down your Dwarven Resilience Power (Yes, dwarfes no longer can always second wind as minor, they have an encounter power that lets them do that). Note that Stand Your Ground also affects pulls and slides. 2. Fix the typo, the name of the feat is Dwarven Weapon Training 3. Your HP is off, probably didn't include the feat. Also your number of healing surges is off, half-level isn't included in Con Modifier. (Please provide calculations). Also Combat Challenge Power seems to be missing from power list 4. As Throwing hammer already can be used with ranged attacks, Dwarven Thrower enchantment increases it's range from 5/10 to 6/12. Mark down what is your armor type (even though Razor enchantment only comes in scale). &nbsp;Mark down the enchantment levels of your items in the magic items list (+1/+2/etc/heroic/paragon). Please provide money calculations 5. Optional : If you like, you can choose a character theme and (mechanical) background for your character

Originally, I didn't include SA, but some in skype chat said I need to always add it. Maybe they&nbsp;only thought about enabling but&nbsp;forgot the AP thing. Changed back to 3d8+11 in the sheet. Gonna go update macros again to reflect all the changes.
I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. In Shining Armor has no effect for you. &nbsp;Devout Protector's Expertise will already give them a +1 shield bonus and this will not stack with that. It is very highly recommended that your attack stat is your highest stat. &nbsp; While we do not require any 'optimization' having your highest stat be your attack stat is important for making what abilities and powers you hit connect (which most powers and builds require hitting to do all your cool stuff). Also on your array, if you started with 16/14/13/13/10/10 and put the 13s in STR and CON and gave your level 4 bump to STR and CHA you would end with the same stats across the board, except your CON would be 1 higher. &nbsp; There is no reason not to do this. You need to label what your Piecemeal armor is as far as armor types is concerned. &nbsp; Also that armor is only available at Scale at maximum and it is highly recommended that you wear plate as a paladin. You need to check the box labeled 'heavy armor' on the quick look up so that properly labels things for you. You need to have your check penalty included properly (Heavy Shield gives a check penalty) You did not put a level on your sheet and that is causing some of the math to get wonky. &nbsp; Please make yourself level 5 and set your XP to the base for the level. Your initiative is messed up, likely due to the lack of level. When you macro in your Channel Divinity please be sure to call it Divine Mettle instead of Divine Metal. Please mark down that you have Eladrin Education, and what you gained with it. You are not forced to choose eladrin background, there are many without prerequisites. Mark down your Exp. 2. Your number of Healing surges is off (you add Con modifier, note not Con mod + ½ level). Add Staff of Defense bonus and Staff of Defense power. Mark somewhere that you have Ritual Caster feat (through your class you get it). You also have mastered some Rituals through your class, eventually you want to look at those.&nbsp; 3. Your Staff Expertise does the same as Shadowdance Armor's Property (unless you make Ranged/Area Weapon Attacks, but Wizard stuff is implement), so if there's something else you like, you may consider what to do.&nbsp;Staff of the Discerning Watcher's Power is an unusual effect, but "take 10 on the initiative check" means that instead of rolling, you treat the check as though you had rolled a 10. Mark down what armor is your armor (I feel like it's leather because you took that proficiency) 4. Optional: As a staff user, you can take enchantments that Quarterstaff (the weapon) can be enchanted with, if you feel like the power got much worse.

That said: 1) how are you getting studded leather? 2) when if ever do you think the quickhit bracers will apply? 3) eager weapon listed under gear and flesh seeker under purchases. Which is it ? Please note as you have no power points, eager weapon will be difficult to get any notable benefit from. 4) please work out attack and damage work space for the two weapons you carry, as they should differ. Currently it would seem you have a bonus to attack with crossbows, but did not purchase or equip any crossbow 5) if you buy magic gear, you do not need the mundane version. So you do not need Studded leather armor, a rapier or a dagger. 6) where does the +2 feat bonus to damage come from ? 7) where does the 7th trained skill come from? Five from class, one from race ... While not mandatory, if you did pick a theme please list it on the first page.

Is studded leather listed? At 2: I won't ask why you have 4 weapons where two of each do the exact same thing At 4: You attack work space is incorrectly named, and the math is not correct. The damage work space for the secondary attack is also incorrect. Please do a calculation for attacks with the rapier, and attacks with the dagger. At 6: You fixed something, but not correctly (see also 4) At 7 : my apologies, forgot they start trained in Stealth also. When you've had a chance to address the above, please repost.

I do not understand why you bought +1 Magic Spiked Gauntlets. If you ran out of cash and could not afford a weapon with an interesting feature, why buy magic gauntlets at all? While not mandatory, it does not appear you choose a theme. This can give your character both flavor and power. Neither of these are technically wrong, so I am going to set you up with a journal. When you hit Join Game, you will find it in the top right corner. If you do make changes to your character, please let the DMs know. After you have filled out your journal, contact a DM by leaving a message here on via the Skype chat, and a DM can check your stuff and make you a token. You will have twice as many powers to code, and since at the start of a work day you do not know what you will run into unless cheating or heavy metagaming, you won't know what spells to prepare. So my suggestion would be to forget the spellbook exists, and just pick one encounter power level 1, one daily level 1, one utility level 2, one encounter power level 3 or below, one daily of level 5 or below. However, as said, not technically wrong, so we are not going to stop you from using this feature. If you are going to use it please carefully list which powers you have taken for what slot (both on your sheet and eventually in your macros). You do not appear to have selected the mechanical benefit of one background, nor chosen a theme. Neither of these are mandatory, but they can provide some additional power and/or flavor to your character. Please repost when you've had a chance to address the above.

I feel you on that, I suppose I could have gotten a Challenge-Seeking weapon (same price). The reasoning behind the MSG vs plain unarmed was that while the attack enhancement bonus (+1) wouldn't stack with the Brawler Style enhancement bonus (+2), it has the benefit of being a +2 proficient weapon, as well as having an increased damage dice (d6 vs. d4), a damage enhancement bonus (+1), and I guess the chance to deal 1d6 extra damage to enemies at max hp (if I swapped to the C-S weapon). I had dug around the DDI and portable compendium for a theme. While I was into the Guardian's features, I didn't feel it lined up with the type of character I felt Roland to be. I guess he could be moonlighting as a lower-middle caste Guardian on the weekends or something, just to be able to utilize some of the bonuses. Thanks again though! I'll get to fiddlin' wit the journal/macros and hit you guys up on the skype.
