Post Character Sheets Here! (Archived, Closed 1/12/18)

Shield bonus shows changed to me it is down to the normal 2 instead of 3 the 2 is for wearing a heavy shield. Durable 4 is from Ringmail and negates the first 4 damage you take every fight.

This is the result of Retiring my Level 14 Invoker I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1344687" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1344687</a>

Armor bonus is 3, check penalty -1 and Reflex Misc bonus only +1, but Shadowdance doesn't come in Hide and Leather doesn't upgrade until +4 enhancement 2. You have three encounter powers from Ranger and none from Bard, except the PP encounter power. The choices are legal but not the way they are labeled now 3. Actually, just label all your powers, in the following or other manner: Twin Strike (LV1 at-will). The Skill power through feat is feat utility 4. Label your equipment by tier, I don't know if you've counted Shard as heroic or paragon, rest I knew you can't afford the paragon options but they should be labeled nonetheless

Solved by moving Echoing Weapon over to the Level 3 Encounter Position and taking Disruptive Strike as Path power 3. All powers labeled 4. All equipment tiers have been labeled and as a precaution Gold values were double checked

As for your sheet: 1. Could you please put down somewhere on your sheet your starting array, your racial ability score bonuses, and your level 4 ability score increases? Typically this is put in the statistics block (you can clear it out and put your array there). 2. Minor thing, but could you please put your bonus to AC from Unarmored Defense under class in your defenses? There are feats that give a feat bonus to AC and Unarmored Defense would stack with that. For example: you could have Unarmored Defense and Unarmored Agility and get the bonus to AC from both the class feature and the feat. 3. Also very minor, but please also list for what level you got your feats. Helps keeps things organized. 4. Your arcana skill is missing the +2 bonus to arcana you're getting from your background. (It would go under misc since it's not a power bonus.) Also where did you pick your mechanical background from? I cannot find a matching background called "Arcane Hunter" in the compendium. 5. You forgot to put down the +1 item bonus to acrobatics from your Acrobat Boots. 6. For your character's background, take some time to add in some more detail to your character's background/description. (A few more sentences will suffice). 7. In your quick look up for your implement attacks you forgot to include the +1 per tier feat bonus to attack rolls from Versatile Expertise. (Strangely enough your quick look up total is correct but is simply missing the input for feat bonus so I think something went awry when the sheet was calculating your attack bonus.) Everything else looks fine. For a first attempt this was very well done. Just fix the above-mentioned things and you should be good to go.

I'll go ahead and toss you a journal in game. When you're ready to have your macros checked (a token will be made for you once you're cleared) please post in guild skype chat or make a post here.
Quick change, I swapped my second versatile expertise option from Ki Focus to Unarmed (helps out my racial power). I've changed my macros and character sheet
KingWut117 said: Quick change, I swapped my second versatile expertise option from Ki Focus to Unarmed (helps out my racial power). I've changed my macros and character sheet A few things, you cannot add expertise to Thri-kreen Claws as it does not have the weapon or implement keyword. Also it already scales in attack without the need for weapon enhancement or expertise. (ability mod + half-level + 3/6/9). In addition, for versatile expertise you must pick a weapon group and an implement group. Just because you're a monk and able to use any weapon you're proficient in as an implement does not make that weapon an implement group.

Thri-kreen Claws is not an unarmed attack.

Minor gripes: 1. You might want to mention in your race features that your character has the elemental origin. 2. The +2 bonus to insight and perception is a power bonus so you'll probably want to put that under the temp box rather than the misc box. 3. You should make sure you have damage for both str and wis attacks calculated in your quick-look up. (so MBA and Brand of the Sun for example)

Added Elemental Origins to Race Features. 2. Good thought, moved it over. 3. I have both MBA and Brand of the Sun in my quick-look up. It's not in my damage workspace, because the damage workspace only offers 2 slots, and those are taken by str attacks and attacks without attribute to damage. Which I thought was kind of more important on a Ranger|. ;D

And copy its text correctly onto your sheet. Or more likely, pick a different set of armor.&nbsp; Other than that though, looks legal. Journal incoming, please post when you've fixed the armor.&nbsp;

Crushing Guardian is technically untyped, you seem to have added it to feat bonus 2. Personality / Manerisms / Background (a.k.a. pg 3) - In one of these areas you should give some details on your character. We don't need a 30 page backstory (but put it up there if you like), however we need something to make this more than a stat sheet. What does this character look like? Where is this character from? Why is this character adventuring? Does this character have any obvious traits that set them apart? The mechanical aspects are looking good to go

Wrote something, already had something in mind, just kinda put it off since mechanical bits had slightly higher priority

I also swapped my Agile Resolve Vestments +1 to Predator's Hide Armor +1 (and subtracted the appropriate amount of gold for going from lv2 to lv3 item) I also exchanged my free versatile expertise feat for Spear Expertise (EDIT): Never mind, spear expertise only applies to weapon attacks, I'll keep my versatile expertise

Welcome to the Guild Living campaign. if you are not yet part of Skype chat, I would recommend you contact one of the DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit. 1) I would recommend you tag your armor as heavy, that way it does not add your Dex or Int modifier even if you were to get a number above 11 in either stat. 2) please do a fill and itemized list of your expenses and remaining gold. Neither of those are show stoppers, and you already have a journal, so go ahead and fill that out.&nbsp;Once you are done please contact a DM by posting a message here, or (ideally) by asking for a check on the Skype chat.

When that is done, please notify a DM by either leaving a message on this forum, or (ideally) by getting the attention of a DM on Skype chat.

1) done! 2) and done!

Closest options are&nbsp;16/15/13/12/11/8 (meaning you can put your LV4 bump somewhere else than CHA (since you get 13 from the start), probably WIS) and&nbsp;16/15/12/12/12/8 (meaning you'll end with 14 DEX at the end). If you share plans for having DEX and CON and CHA, I may be able to offer more options 2. Please list the subclass you chose, Arcanist is the PHB1 wizard 3. Please fill in the "Check Penalty" box with the appropriate number (even if it is zero), so that I know you know where to find it 4. Please list implements you are proficient with somewhere (it would be good to list armor and weapon proficiencies as well, to become accustomed) 5. Please add the power from your&nbsp;Arcane Implement Mastery to the power list and label all power by their level and type, some are racial feature and some class features, Example:&nbsp;Ray of Frost (LV1 at-will) 6. I would rather see Ray of Frost and Thunderwave as your damage workspace powers, as they are different on their math, and the likelihood of you needing to make an attack with a dagger is low 7. Please&nbsp;do an itemized expenditure 8. It's very common that wizards take either Armor Proficiency: Leather or Unarmored Agility as one of their first feats, just as a fix to their biggest problem. Also they have utility powers to help with this (Shield - Utility 2 being the most common example). Just giving heads up that AC 18 is dangerously low 9. The box at the bottom of page three is for "Notes to self". Only the owner of the sheet can see what's written there, so I don't see the spellbook choices. Also I am required to ask how you would go about handling it, since the choices need to be made before a game is begun and without any knowledge based on the name of the mission for example. Most common choice here is to ignore the spellbook feature for simplicity's sake and for less macro coding and as people often have preferences 10. Optional Should you want to, you can choose a mechanical Background and a Character Theme, which can add more power and depth to your character

Edited quote maze. 1. Where did you list the starting array, what did you use, what did you choose as your racial bonus, what did you choose as LV4 bonuses, your Strength Score is still showing an empty box? 2. List all the proficiencies you have, what domain did you choose as a Warpriest, list that somewhere. Warpriests don't get a complete choice of Cleric powers, which is why I asked if you were a PHB1 Cleric (Templar) or a Warpriest 3. How did you end up with 34 as your HP value and 9 as your number of Surges? 4. Not done 5. Why do you have four skills trained? 6. Yet you still have Halfling listed 7. Yet you still have the two paragon feats listed, remove them and pick something else 8. Because Warpriests get powers according to their domain, but you have picked powers across all domains which is not how the class functions. As a Warpriest, you choose a domain as explained in Warpriests compendium entry and then gain the powers specified in the same compendium entry for that domain 9. Yet the Workspaces are still empty 10. Now your Magic Items and Equipment list doesn't match the expenditure It's possible that you forgot to save at some point, since so many things are unchanged Please go over the New Player Checklist with your sheet and use the video tutorial as well Since my first reply asked you to read the Basic Rules, the New Player Checklist and the required reading those threads mentioned, I hope you have done so
