I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. <a href="https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1151786" rel="nofollow">https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1151786</a> Hello Charles, welcome to the Guild Living campaign. If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, contact one of our DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit 1) For your HP, you get to use you _current_ constitution score 2) For your surge count, I am not sure how you got to your listed number. Could you show the math on that? 3) it seems your ability score got lost in the calculation of your will defense 4) you do not need mundane versions of the magic gear you possess, unless you enjoy carrying doubles around. 5) while not wrong, why did you buy a craghammer? Between it, the throwing hammer and the bracers, you might have the cash for Iron Armbands. 6) could you indicate levels of the powers chosen on page 2, that would make it easier to understand at a glance. See also step 7 of the New Player Checklist 7) the prices listed in the Coins and Other Wealth (thanks for that breakdown) all seem off. Please note you do not have to purchase the mundane version of gear first. The price of a magic item include the cost of mundane. So 680gp gets you Stoneborn Plate armor, both the armor and the enhancement. 8) As a Dwarf your character speaks the language named Dwarven Please take your time to review above. When you are done, please repost using the quote function, and indicate per number what - if any - changes you made. 1. Fixed 2. Fixed 3. 10 + half level (2)= 12 + Badge of Berserker +1=13 4. Deleted 5. Got rid of all the other weapons other than the Mordenkrad. Re-thought magic items purchases. 6. Updated the powers&nbsp; 7. Reworked Magic Items and prices 8. Changed the language to Dwarven At 1 : check At 2 : check At 3 : check though initially your Charisma score was higher than it is now At 4 : check At 5 : check At 6 : check At 7 : check At 8 : check My only new critique would be that the Iron Armbands do not grant a feat bonus to damage. But that does not change the overall static damage score. When you hit Join Game, in the top right corner you will find a journal to fill out. Once that is done contact one of the DMs either by leaving a message on this here forum, or (ideally) via Skype so that can then make you a token. I think I had originally chosen Bloodthirsty Bracers when I made the char, which would have given an additional bonus to damage when I crit equal to 2+ my CHA mod, but I didn't end up using it, so I chose to switch CHA with DEX so I could get at least 1 for Init and the +1 to AC for the Agile Armor.

Even if that value is a zero, we need to know that you know what your penalty is. 4) I suggest that somewhere you list a breakdown of your miscellaneous attack modifiers. I for one count your item +1 (RBA), racial +1 (arcane), your theme +1(fire) and your dagger +1 (vs reflex). The idea is that some random DM can look at your sheet midgame and understand what is going on. 5) Same for your damage. It is high, nice work! , but undoubtedly someone will question it at some point. 6) For classes that use a different stat than Dex or Int to AC, we generally recommend filling the actual standard armor bonus in under quick lookup, mark the armor as heavy, and under class bonus in the defense calculation list the benefit from that other ability modifier 7) please under Coins and Wealth give us a breakdown of your expenses 8) can you give us some indication of this guys character and traits. Once you have had a chance to review above, please reply use the quote function. If you make any changes please use the number indicators I used above to let us know what it was you changes about the sheet.

Since Savage Rend can be used as a melee basic attack, for example, I doubt you would very often use Strength to make an MBA. Even if the value that you enter is zero, please let us know what the value is for your character. 3) your attack calculation seems to be missing. Please try to fill out each box as appropriate for your chosen character. I would recommend Staggering Note and Aggravating Force as powers to do this math on. 4) your damage calculation seems to be missing. Please try to fill out each box as appropriate for your chosen character. Please do this for the same powers as in point 3 5) you seem to not have selected an expertise feat as indicated by Step 8 of the new Player Checklist. Also, per that same step, indicate at what level you got each feat please. 6) please read and follow step 9 of the New Player Checklist 7) For your chosen powers on page 2, please indicate their level and use as per instructions of step 7 of the New Player Checklist. This all seem nitpicky, but the idea is that some DM midgame can glance at your sheet and understand it. 8) leather armor is not heavy (boxed check under quick lookup) and does not give an armor bonus of 5 While not mandatory, you are free to select the mechanical benefit of a background, and select a character theme. Both of those can give your character flavor and power. If you do select one or both of these, please list them under your class features. Please take your time to review above. At 2 : check At 3 : Please note aggravating force is not an implement attack and as such would not benefit from your expertise feat. Check my comment below on 5 At 4 : check At 5 : instead you probably want Eldritch Fusillade Expertise as that will benefit all your attacks At 6 : check At 7 : check At 8 : check None of these are showstoppers, so I will set up a journal for you. Optional While not mandatory, you are allowed to take the benefit of one theme and one background . Backgrounds is a big list with Auspicious Birth and Arcane Student Who Saw Too Much as two common choices. These could give your character more flavor and/or power. Themes with powers with a level give them as additional choices to your classes power list at those levels, powers without levels are usually gained by taking the theme (normally also listed under it's features) Reply if you take anything new as part of 1. A journal is waiting for you in the top right after you hit Join Game. Fill that out, and when you're done, contact one of the DMs to get that checked out. Either by leaving a message in this forum or (ideally) via Skype chat. They can then make you a token. If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, please contact one of the DMs to get added.

Please note two things : your rogue does not seem to have been added to the census, and secondly you cannot have two characters with the same role. So please either change this build, or retire the Rogue. That said : 1) Please show us the math on your HP calculation, since the number listed seems extremely low 2) For classes that use a different stat than Dex or Int to AC, we generally recommend filling the actual standard armor bonus in under quick lookup, mark the armor as heavy, and under class bonus in the defense calculation list the benefit from that other ability modifier 3) under quickm look up, please list your check penalty score. Even if taht is zero, we need to know that you know the applicable check penalty 4) The racial feature section is pretty bare. I am sure there is more to that race than you listed 5) there is a bolded section in Step 5 of teh new player Checklist. I recommend you take that to heart. 6) Since you have a +2 amulet, I would suggest you use those enhancement bonuses in the appropriate boxes of the defense calculations at the centre top of page 1 7) As Elemental Bolt is not a weapon attack, and proficiency bonuses only apply to weapon attacks, that part of your attack calculation is incorrect. As Elemental Bolt counts as an RBA, doing a separate calculation for an attack you will never use seems a waste of time and effort. I would suggest you do the math on an MBA instead. 8) The free feats available to you in Step 8 of teh new player Checklist are listed, and I do not see Arcane Familiar there. Why would you character have that feat for free? 9) Your damage calulation cannot possibly be correct for any of your sorcerer powers, since at the very least there is a class damage feature to damage missing 10) with your chosen background, please list what mechanical benefit you draw from it. please list this in the class feature section on page 1 11) Not mandatory, but you can choose a character theme. if you do so, please also list it in the class feature section Once you've had a chance to review above, please repost using the quote function and indicate with the same numbers I used to let us know what (if anything) you changed.

1. I added the Auspicious Birth background and Mercenary theme.

If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, contact one of our DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit. For starters, please know we have many players and many DMs. The idea of a uniform character sheet is that so midgame some DM can look at your sheet and understand what is going on without going on a fact-finding mission. Part of my critique on your sheet is based on that premise. 1) Please spell the name of your race correctly. Also Heavy sheald, divine chalange, strangers neaklace, On Pain orb Death... 2) please follow the instructions of Step 5 of the new Player Checklist. List the totals of your ability scores in the appropriate boxes, list your starting array, racial bonus and level 4 boost in the statistics block 3) underneath that, list the math for your HP score. As it stands I think it is too high, but since you did not provide us with the calculation you used, I cannot point out where you went wrong and how we can fix this. 4) I do not know what any of the items on your character sheet are, and as such cannot review your sheet for them. I'm going to go with the assumption that all of it is incorrect. Please provide us with the actual mechanical names of the items you purchased. What you name them in chat during the game is up to you, but let us start out with a correct mechanical character. 5) I do not know what dragonborn scenes feat is. If your character does have access to low light vision, that would go under Special Senses listed under Quick Lookup on the left side of page 1. 6) Under Coins and Wealth, please provide us what a breakdown of your expenditures. If you bought anything from the Sales forum, please indicate this there as well. 7) Please read step 9 of the new Player Checklist. We were serious when we wrote that. 8) after you have done all of the above, I would suggest you try to do the attack and damage calculations again. Fill out each box with a value you think is correct for your character. Really look. What ability modifier would apply here, does my class give me a bonus to attack, what (if any) feats give me a bonus to attack or damage, etc. 9) I do not know what a "bro" means to you. Pretty sure several Guild member characters would not consider someone a bro if they refused to kill. Not saying that intent is incorrect or not allowed, but you may want to expand a little on your ideas for this guys characteristics and traits. 10) Not mandatory, but you are entitled to the mechanical benefit of one background, and can select a character theme. Both or either of those could give your character power and or flavor. Please take your time to review above. When you are done, please repost using the quote function, and indicate per number what - if any - changes you made.

At 4 : If you look through the compendium you will find many versions of many available items. What is it you are confused about ? That is not because we want to force our choices onto you, but because it makes your character sort of competent. Our fear in this is that your character might miss a lot, and then you end up not liking the game because your character is not achieving much of anything. 2) You gain Combat Agility or Combat Superiority, not both 3) Please choose and indicate which Fighter Talent your selected in the Class Features section 4) #3 may also have consequences for your class bonus to attack, which currently you filled out as zero. 5) could you please state what feat you took that gives you a +5 bonus to attacks? 6) could you please state what feat you took that gives you a +5 bonus to damage? 7) The bracers of mighty striking appear to be missing from the melee basic damage calculation 8) Please let us know what skill you trained by taking that feat 9) Not mandatory, but you are allowed the benefit of one background, and can choose a character theme. Either / both of those can be a boon to your character. Please take your time to review above. I did not choose a theme Hi Xander, thanks for actually indicating what you changed. Makes a new review so much easier. At 1) since you changed your stats, this will also affect the attack and damage calculations. The ability modifier used in it should now be 4 At 2) check At 3) check At 4) check At 5) no, that is incorrect. Axe expertise does give you a +1 feat bonus to attack, it explicitly says so. The Dwarven Weapon Training feat does not even have the word 'attack' in its text. Blade Opportunist does apply only under certain conditions, so not generically valid, and the bonus it grants is not a feat bonus. I know that latter bit is confusing as it does come from a feat. But read the text in Axe expertise and Blade Opportunist, and you will see the difference. At 6) This is the reverse of #5. Axe expertise does not have the word damage in it, it does not apply here. Dwarven Weapon Training however does have the word damage in it. Please read both feats to see how and where they apply At 7) the bonus from Bracers of Mighty Striking would go into a misc. box, but not under attack. Please read what that item does again. At 8) check and thank you At 9) check 10) new, or i did not notice it earlier, but the Amulet you bought grants you a bonus to defense of its enhancement to Fortitude, Reflex and Will.

They are not visible for me. My bad! it's saved now (I'm sorry, I feel really dumb right now)

Fill that out, get some DMs attention to check it, and they can then make you a token.

If I am mistaken then please note if you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, contact one of our DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit. If this is your second sheet, sight unseen, I would recommend you play a few sessions in the Guild Living settings to get a feel for what works and why before you commit to a second character. All of that said : 1) Wizzard, Firsburst 2) The proficiency bonus from your staff to your melee basic attack is not 1. I would suggest you read up on that. Staff Expertise would apply. 3) Implement attack powers do not get to add the proficiency bonus of a weapon to the attack 4) On page 2 you did not list what sort of armor it is your character is wearing, but I am sure it does not give you a +1 armor bonus as listed under quick lookup on page 1. 5) Please list which Arcane Implement Mastery your character mastered with that Class Feature 6) Enhancement bonus of the armor missing from the defense calculations 7) Under conditional modifiers you do list your Implement Mastery, incorrectly. 8) I feel the need to point out that the Defensive Mobility feat is not technically wrong, you can certainly choose it, but Unarmored Agility is straight up better 9) Gnomes have special senses, but none are listed under quick lookup 10) Not mandatory, but you are entitled to the mechanical benefit of a background, and choose a character theme. Either or both of those could enhance your character.

If you are not yet part of the Guild Skype chat, contact one of our DMs to get added. My handle is baldhermit. 1) The warforged racial bonus to your ability scores is to Constitution and to either Intelligence or Strength. 2) As per Step 5 of the new Player Checklist, we really do recommend you boost your primary ability score each step of the way, including the level 4 boost. 3) In the statistics block you list a +2 to Will from your class, but this is not listed in your Defense calculations up top. 4) Under quick lookup, please list the check penalty. Even if that score is a zero, we need to know that you know what your check penalty is. 5) At the top of page 2 please list what type of weapon it is you purchased. "Blade" can be a dagger, short sword, long sword, broad sword, bastard sword, great sword, full blade, rapier ... and I'm sure I forgot a few. 6) Don't forget to add your class feature to your defense calculations 7) Blade Initiate is a multiclass feat and as such not open for a character already belonging to that class. It also is not an expertise feat as listed under Step 8 of the new Player Checklist 8) Claw Fighter has a racial prerequisite your character does not meet 9) For your character theme and background, please list them as such, and for the background please let us know what benefit you gain from it. 10) you can gain a level 2 utility power based on a trained skill, your class, your race or your theme, but you still only get one level 2 utility. 11) You purchased an amulet of protection with a +1 enhancement, yet added a +2 enhancement to the defense calculations at the top of page 1. Please explain. When you have had a chance to review the above, please reply using the quote function. When replying please use the same number indicators to let us know what, if anything, you changed to the character sheet.
New character coming up I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium. When dealing with an armor bonus not based on Dex or Int, we usually recommend tagging the armor as heavy, and then add the entire applicable ability modifier as a class bonus to the defense. That way there is less confusion what that bonus is or where it comes from Since that does not change the total sum of your defense calculations, I am going to set you up with a journal. I'm assuming by now you know the drill, if it is unclear, ask me on Skype.

Will get on the macros next then.&nbsp;

I am already on the guild chat in skype. 1) Fixed spelling errors 2) Corrected the bonus to the melee basic attack. Also read about the&nbsp;proficiency bonus and Staff expertise. 3) Took the Proficiency bonus away from implement attacks. 4) I added cloth to the armor name and took away the armor bonus. I was thinking it was a part of the AC bonus the armor gave. 5) Listed the Implement I chose to master. 6) Added enhancement bonus to defense calculations. 7) I corrected the issue after revisiting the implement mastery. 8) I must have over looked Unarmored Agility because it is most defiantly better. I changed that feat. 9) I added Low-Light vision to the special senses. I didn't find any more but if there are please correct me. 10) I added a Mechanical Background but after looking at the themes I felt that trying to role play those would be hard for me being so new.

At 1 : thank you At 2 : Quarterstaves do give a proficiency bonus to weapon attacks. So while this character probably will never have a scary MBA, it is more accurate than +4. At 3 : check At 4 : check At 5 : check At 6 : check At 7 : I do not think that you did. Frankly, I think you misunderstand how that works. There are two parts to this specialization. &nbsp;- A staff of defense grants you a +1 bonus to AC. &nbsp;- In addition, once per encounter, you can use the Staff of Defense power. The latter is flat out a power, that you can list on page 2 and eventually will have to write a macro for. The former is a level 4/9/14 weapon/implement you can purchase. Talking about purchasing, there is a defensive staff for sale for 1700gp right now that gives you +1 to all your defenses At 8 : check At 9 : check At 10 : please list what background this is.
