Changed to Great Axe psychokiniteic +1 10. added some mannerisms and characterisitics 11. completed these changes 12. added Hellish rebuke and Fiery bolt 13. added the versatile expertise (idea is that shaft of ax has a connection and is the rod and the rest of the shaft as one) also changed toughness to ritual caster Scott S. said: Gary M, I have read the Basic Rules/FAQ. I have read the New Player Checklist. I have downloaded the Portable Compendium or have access to the Online Compendium. Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources. https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1438518 Scott 1. Please include the starting array somewhere on your sheet. Preferably in the Staistic Block. 2. On the same note, make it clear how you got from the starting array to your current stats by including your racial bonuses and your level 4 boosts. Preferably in the Statistic Block. 3. Since your HP are not correct, please correct them and include your calculations to this end on the sheet. (Side note: 5 hp/level is NOT what toughness does.) 4. Ferocity, Prime Shot, Heedless Charge and Shadow Walk are not powers. (Side note: Prime shot does not apply to all attacks, as your description suggests. Abbreviating is fine, leaving out conditions is not.) 5. Dark One's Blessing is not a class feature. The pact you picked is a class feature and should go under class features. 6. Warlocks start with four trained skills. 7. Your powers should have an indication of their level. (e. g. Warlock Encounter 3) 8. Your AC bonus from your leather armor is incorrect. Do not include the enhancement bonus of your armor in the Quick Look Up Block, just the base armor. 9. Psychokinetic Pact Blade Axe +2 is not a legal item. Items always consist of a base type (like Dagger or Greataxe) and an enhancement. It seems like you have tried to use two enhancements and only half a base type. Please specify the type of weapon, and make sure the enhancement is applicable to that type. Pact Blade can only be applied to light blades like daggers or short swords. 10. It would be nice to get some information about your character's personality or mannerisms. 11. Your class offers bonuses to Defense. They should be included in your defense calculation. 12. Please fill in Attack and Damage workspace for two different powers. Entering the name of the applicable Abilities will make them auto-fill for your convenience. 13. Great Ax Expertise or rather Axe Expertise will not grant your character any tangible benefits. As Warlocks use almost exclusively implement powers, I would strongly recommend picking an implement and the appropriate expertise. 3. You add your con score to your starting HP, rather than your con mod . Other than that your Statistic Block is shaping up nicely. 6. Warlocks don't have Perception as a class skill. If you want Perception, I recommend picking a background that has it as associated skill, letting you chose it as if it was a class skill. Picking a single mechanical background incurs no further costs or penalties to you. 7. Looks good, just slap a 2 onto Ethereal Stride please, as you'll get more Utility Powers at level 6, 10, etc. 12. Your attack will at the very least get bonuses from your half level (auto-completes), your ability modifier (auto-completes if you write "Con" instead of "Fiery Bolt" on top), the enhancement of your implement, and your expertise (feat bonus). Only weapon attacks get a proficiency bonus. For example, for your Hellish Rebuke, you will get +8 to attacks (+4 con, +2 half level, +1 implement enhancement bonus, +1 expertise). You will get +5 to damage (+4 con, +1 enhancement bonus). I'd like to see a power or two in your quick lookup, so I can see that you know which bonuses benefit your attack and damage rolls, respectively. Please also note down the secondary damage on Fiery Bolt (the damage dealt to adjacent creatures). You'll have to calculate this for your macros anyway, so what you do now will serve as a resource later. 13. Let me break this down into two parts: issues and solution. Issue 1): You only have two hands, the greataxe takes up both, so you can't hold your rod. The system does not support combining your weapon and your implement, unless there's rules to do so. (Artificers can (sort of) combine wands and crossbows, for example, but they pay a feat to do so. Why should they pay a feat if you can do it for free? The answer is you can't do it for free.) Issue 2): The greataxe still does pretty much nothing appreciable for you. It will use your abysmal strength score to make basic attacks, with no added effects and terrible accuracy. Doing this in combat will have almost no impact and will generally be a waste of your action. Solution: Welcome to the marvels of refluffing: Your character does not actually need to be holding a mechanical axe for you to describe him as wielding an axe. Let your sheet say you use a rod, describe it as a tall and proud ritual greataxe you carry into battle. Ditch the magical axe and the feats that are only weighing you down and get a better implement and a nice feat like Bloodied Boon, Hidden Sniper, Curse Shot, Superior Reflexes, Improved Defenses or Improved Initiative for example. 3. Try again. 12a. Quick lookup looks good except for the numbers. I explained to you what goes into your damage rolls, and you did it correctly in the Damage Workspace, just carry that over to your Quick Lookup. 12b. You arrive at the correct number in the Attack Workspace, but again: Implement attacks do not gain any proficiency bonus. 13. Feats: Mark which feat you got at which level. For the free expertise feat, just write "0", "1a", or "free" as you please. 14. Feats cont: Superior Implement Proficiency lets you use a superior implement. You should upgrade your Implement to reflect this. I recommend an Accurate or Ashen Rod. 16. Feats cont: You are also proficient with a wand by being a Warlock. Just so you know. 15. Spell components are consumed. Tracking them the way you do is going to be a nightmare. Just buy Alchemical Reagents for Arcana Rituals. 16. Please quote the latest post of mine when responding and put all your changes underneath the quote, and not on top. This makes it significantly easier for me to read and write feedback at the same time. 17. Optional, but could be handy for you: Prime Shot is a great candidate for something to put under "Conditional Modifiers." 18. Gear: List your mundane gear at the bottom of page 1, and provide a cost breakdown somewhere on your sheet (for example in the coin&gems box). 3. came up with 52 12a. moved 12b. marked 1 in feat 13. completed 14. completed 15. Where do I find this for a cost purpose? 16. Done sorry still trying to figure out mechanincs. 17. done 18. done 1. Try this: Current Constitution score + starting HP + 4 * HP per level. 2. Attack Workspace lacks the bonus from Ashen Rod. "Unerring (You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls against Reflex when attacking with an unerring implement.). " 3. Fiery Bolt vs adjacent targets doesn't have the correct damage. 4. For White Lotus Dueling Expertise you have to pick one implement you gain proficiency with. It then applies to all implements you have proficiency with. So either put the one implement you pick under the feat or all the implements it applies to. 5. You seriously need to get your gear in order: 5a. Still waiting for you to move mundane items (Belt Poches, Ritual Book, etc.) to "Other Items" on page one of your sheet. 5b. Move your Rituals to the "Rituals" section, underneath the Magic Items section. 5c. Rod of Absorbtion has to have an enhancement bonus. 5d. I recommend just dropping the Wand +1, as it does literally nothing for you. 5e. Provide a breakdown of how you spent your money. I'm not going to go and look up the cost of all your items and add them up to make sure you've done it right. 15. To make things easier we allow you to just use your gold to cast rituals, no need to track components, so disregard me telling you to buy arcane reagents. 16/18. Thanks. Also, instead of writing "done" or "completed", note what you actually changed on your sheet, particularly when you don't fully complete the point you're claiming to be "done". Nico, 1. Made the changes based upon +4 but the Players Handbook had stated +5 per level. 2. Made the changes in the attack space 3. Fiery bolt damage changed but it is one less because it requires the intelligence modifier 4. I chose the rod 5a. Moved mundane items to other items on page 1 5b moved the rituals to the ritual section 5c changed to the add the +1 bonus 5d dropped the wand +1 5e moved the cost breakdown from the last page under background to gold and wealth box I hope this is everything All right, 1. Sorry, I was not quite clear in what I meant. You are of course correct, Warlocks get 5 HP per level. I was trying to say you take that number, 5 per level, and multiply it by 4, the number of levels you have gained. That gets you 20. Then add your current Constitution score and starting HP for Warlocks. (20+19+12) and you get 51. Currently, by taking 19 as your starting Constitution and adding another +1, you are adding the +1 Con you got at level 4 twice, if you see what I mean. 2. Your attack workspace looks fine now. 3. Almost. The Infernal Pact rider is in addition to what the adjacent creatures would take without it, so. 1d6 +Con Mod+Int Mod +Enhancement Bonus+Ashen Rod Bonus. You've got it absolutely correct in your damage workspace, just copy it over. Your Eldritch Blast, however, does not benefit from the Energized (fire) property, as it does not have the Fire keyword. 5e. Thanks, the other notes at the very bottom are private and only visible to you. If the total money you spent on items is "Total: 4,305 gp" then your remainder should be 195gp rather than "545gp", as you start with 4500gp. There is also no need to pay for a superior implement, its cost is part of the enchanted item's cost. This means that in addition to reclaiming those 22gp you can also upgrade your Rod of Absorption to an Ashen Rod of Absorption for free. Nico, 1. I made the correction in the hit points. That makes sense I was adding an extra level in the switch to 5th. 3. Made the changes to Eldritch which is now +6 (+4 for CON bonus, +1 for white lotus, +1 for rod of corruption of rod of absorption), also moved the+10 to the damage for fiery bolt Gold became 217gp after adding back the 22gp from the superior rod Almost done now, just note that White Lotus Dueling Expertise is attack rolls only, so you can't add it to damage. I'll create a journal for you to complete within the campaign and trust you to fix your Eldritch Strike Damage (4+1) on your own.
