Below is a link to my character sheet which I have made using the above resources.

https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1819494

Welcome!

1. Please ensure your name on roll20 and Discord match (and also match the Player name on the sheet).

2.Please list in your class features which Psionic Study your character follows.

3. Speed of Thought is not a lvl 1 encounter power. You could label it as level 0 if you like, but it is a feature.

4. Please calculate out your expenditures in your coins and other wealth section so the DM checking your sheet can easily see exactly how much money you spent on what easily.

5. Starting XP is 5500

6. Next to your mechanical background in race features please list what benefit you gain from your background.(looks like +2 Percep?)

7. Your HP looks wrong. What calculation did you do to determine it?

8. Please denote the number of power points you have somewhere obvious on your sheet. It will be important :-)

9. I do not see any daily attack powers from your class. You should have two.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

Feel free to hit up Discord with questions.

I read through the notes you left and have made the following changes:

    1. My Roll20 name now matches my Discord Tag

    2. In regards to inclusions of class features, including Psionic Study and Daily Powers, I figured out my mistakes and corrected them.

    3. I realized the wording for HP calculation said Constitution Score, not modifier. That's on me.

    4. The coins and wealth section now has a detailed list of expenditures.

    5. Included the boost that my background gives with it's listing in the features section.

    6. Power points are now listed under my main weapon for easy access.

5. *its

10. Your quick look up should have two powers you are likely to use. A melee basic attack is fine, but battleminds often do not use those as their attack powers are better. You should have at least one more attack power in your quick look-up section.

11. You are wearing plate armor. Battleminds do not have proficiency in plate armor. You may wear armor with which you are not proficient, but you take a -2 penalty to attacks and reflex if you do so. I doubt this is your intention. I recommend either taking plate armor proficiency as a feat or switching to scale armor (I personally prefer the latter option). For more info, see your class entry and the glossary entry for "armor" in the compendium.

I have implemented the suggestions from 9 and 10, having placed Bull's Strength and Whirling Defense underneath my melee basic and power points, as well as changing the armor to be scale.

The player name on the sheet does not match your roll20/Discord names.

Considering this is a fairly minor gripe, I will go ahead and assign you a journal to use for your character on the roll20 table. Get to work on your macros! Check the instructional guides/videos and ask for help on Discord if you require assistance.

Hello and welcome to the Guild
1. Can you show the math for your HP and Healing Surges, I get different numbers
2. St EXP to 5500. Set armor check penalty to match your armors (zero if it has none). Set Armor bonus to match your armor and put it's enhancement bonus in the box labelled for it like you put your necklaces bonus. Label feats by the level you got them. Remember to add the free feat you got through your class features. Note that your class and theme features give you some powers that you don't yet have listed on the power boxes. Put your expenditure somewhere. Note that you don't currently fulfill the prereqs for Eldritch Fusillade Expertise
3. You're missing all the misc skill bonuses you have from various things.
4. Attack and damage workspaces are explained on pages 274-279 in Player's Handbook 1
5. You are allowed the benefits of a mechanical background. Common choices are Arcane Student Who Saw Too Much and Auspicious Birth

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

1. reread starting hp and applied current Con modifier (12+(Con)+5+5+5+5) fixed healing surge/day (6+Con) Healing surge value (34/4 8.5 rounded down)

2. Exp set to 5500,  set armor check penalty to 0 matched armor bonus to armor and put the bonus in save block like necklace, labeled feats by level obtained, added ritual caster to class feats, added class and theme missing powers, replaced Eldritch Fussilade Expertise with Crossbow Expertise.

3. Added trapsmith skill bonuses, listed arcane trapsmith bonus on side due to situational use. added racial skill bonuses (+2 to dungeoneering and thievery) added Trapsmith theme skill bonuses (+2 to Perception and thievery checks)

4. added to the attack and damage spaces and also adjusted quick look up while I was at it.

5. Chose background mountains, added bonus to dungeoneering.

This is a silly build in the grand tradition of the Guild. However, I can find no substantial fault with it, so I will give you a journal.

Edit: put the type of armor in your magic items section.

1. The name of this myth-weavers sheet is "Threatening Reach." While not technically a problem, it does start this sheet review with an intense feeling of dissatisfaction.

2. Double check your HP calculations based on your ability scores. I obtained a different result.

3. Please list the slots for your magic items in the "Use" column

4. See my above comment to Andy about the silliness of this build.

These are relatively minor gripes, so feel free to re-work Eizen's extant journal for this character.

1: I'm so sorry for the monsters. Also I would change it but I keep old sheets and it would be confusing to have two sheets named Officer Bryant

2: Decimals are fake and hard, but I got it now.

3: There isn't one of those for the magic items, so I put it in the Use column instead now, that good?

4: Got it. I'll actually use Bryant's old journal because it's easier, and he's getting retired too. Look out for that in a few hours.

1. I count your final money as 8600 instead of 7600 on my end.

Other than that, looks good.

Hello, Swami.

  1. Excise From Sight is not a level 1 power.

Hello Arkandos, and welcome to the Guild.

  1. Orb of Nimble Thoughts only gives a +Enhancement bonus to initiative post-errata, not +Intelligence.
  2. Your Quick Lookup seems to indicate that you're attacking with your Orb of Nimble Thoughts, but your Attack/Damage workspace indicate you are attacking with a +2 implement.
  3. Please include the stat array you started with, the racial boosts you chose, and the stat boosts you chose in the 'Statistic Block'.
  4. Please include a monetary breakdown of your purchases in 'Coins and Other Wealth'.
  5. You cannot start with Abyssal from your racial languages.
  6. Please place your background and theme in 'Class / Path / Destiny' features--this is mostly just to make it easier to see on the first page.
  7. While we do not expect a treatise or a novel or anything of the sort, we do ask that you give your character some indication of personality.
  8. (optional) For reference, you do not have to write what the feats do in your Feats section. I mention this mainly because you will not be able to fit all your feats if you do this, and everyone has access to compendium if they need to look up something of yours. The same is true for your magic items.
  9. (optional) It is generally not recommended to use the Spellbook feature, as in most cases you prepare spells before adventure start and usually do not have any real information to use to choose your powers off of.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

1. Changed initative gained from Orb of Nimble Thoughts to +1

2. Changed quicklookup weapon to Orb of Impenetrable Escape

3. Moved it up from the "Background & Notes" section

4. Made a "ledger" of purchases. They include a 10% discount from enchant magic item.

5. Replaced Abyssal with Draconic

6. Moved up background and theme to Class / Path / Destiny features

7. Haven't finished that yet, wanted to get the mechanical stuff fixed first

1-3, 5-7: Check. For reference, we cannot see things placed in the second Background & Other Notes box, if you put things there.

4. You cannot apply crafting discount during character creation. In addition, I do not see the costs of your rituals accounted for.

I did not know the background part was private, good to know.

4. I did not know that did not apply to character creation. Costs amended. The rituals I have are the free rituals granted by the Wizard Spellbook feature.

4. Check.

There's a few more points that I missed, but they should be quick to resolve.

  1. Mundane gear is free, per Basic Rules under "Level and Gold". In other words you may refund yourself the cost of the Adventurer's Kit.
  2. You cannot spellbook a skill power like Arcane Mutterings. See minor rulings for more details.

Please do also fill out some of the non-mechanical things (height, weight, age, personality, mannerisms and appearance) before you submit the next iteration, but otherwise you should be good to go.

1. Refunded cost

2. Replaced Arcane Mutterings with Jump

Filled out the non-mechanics (When I think about it, I have never ever filled out height or weight. Partially because I do not understand imperial measurements. )

Looks good.

When you hit Launch Game you will find a journal in the top right corner. Our second video also covers this. Please fill it out using the templates provided. When that is done, contact one of our DMs (see the welcome channel on discord). They can then make you a token.

Don't forget to add this character to the census.

Hello, and welcome to the Guild. And apologies for the delay.

  1. Please put your origin (granted from your theme) as a race feature.
  2. You do not qualify for Arcing Throw.
  3. Please mark down what benefit you are getting from your background.
  4. Your HP is miscalculated. Please note that it is the full CON score, and not your modifier, that is added to it.
  5. You do not have your item bonuses to your NADs (Non-AC Defenses, aka your Fort/Ref/Will) from your Amulet of Elegy added.
  6. I do not see any feat that grants you a feat bonus to damage, as your Damage Workspace seems to indicate.
  7. Your AC calculation is incorrect, as you add your CON modifier to AC in place of DEX/INT from your class feature. What I would recommend to rectify this is checking off 'Armor is Heavy' (this makes it so that DEX/INT isn't added to AC) and placing your CON modifier as a Class Bonus to AC.
  8. (optional) Please note that you can get your Anakore in Hide, which you have proficiency in and grants a higher bonus to AC.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. No worries about the delay. I know real life sometimes get's in the way.

  1. Added the origin: elemental from the Earthforger theme to Race features.
  2. I have removed the Arcing Throw feat and replaced it with the Iron Will feat.
  3. I have added my background benefit in race features. I choose to add +2 to athletics.
  4. I have fixed my HP calculations, and now have added my CON score instead of the modifier.
  5. I have added the +1 enhancement bonus from the Amulet of Elegy to the NAD's
  6. I have fixed this and taken out the feat bonus to damage I had mistakanly added.
  7. I have followed your advice and checked heavy armor and added my Con modifier to the class box in AC.
  8. After thinking on this I have decided to change my leather Anakore+1 to a hide one so I get the higher AC bonus, and have made the  changes to armor bonus. Also because this makes more sense to my character I think.

I have also bought some Acrobat Boots and added them to the magic items equipment. I have also on baldhermit's advice exchanged Master at Arms for Bludgeoning Expertise for my expertise feat.

Please note that this is a replacement character for one of my existing characters that I haven't played in a while. It would make sense to replace Balashi because he is a Defender (but really, I don't care about either one right now).

Note #2: The item budget math is contingent on the Maurader's Armor +2 being available from the shop. If that sells out then I need to purchase something cheaper.

Note #3: The RBA math is based on the interaction between the Arena Fighter and the Improvised Missile feat (Arena fighters can use melee weapons they are not proficient with as improvised melee weapons with +2 proficiency). The Improvised Missile feat gives you the abiltiy to use improvised melee weapons as heavy thrown 5/10 weapons. It also gives a feat bonus to attack and damage rolls when they are thrown as such.

Note #4: When you are proficient with a Craghammer is uses a d10 for damage. When you are not proficient with it but you are an Arena Fighter then it uses only a d8 for damage (like any other one-handed weapon) . There is a reason why I lowered it to a d8. There is also a reason why I didn't select the Craghammer as one of my two Arena weapons (because then it wouldn't interact with the Improvised Missile feat).

After discussing on discord, and changing the weapon enchantment, go ahead with the journal. I believe you do not need a new journal as this replaces Dominic ? Message me if that is not the case.

Hello Todd, and welcome to the Guild.

  1. Since you have proficiency with light shields, I assume your character is a Shield Dwarf. Please mark this somewhere on your sheet.
  2. Versatile Expertise is not a class feature.
  3. I do not see how you can use a spiked shield or a totem with your longbow.
  4. Please include a monetary breakdown of your purchases in 'Coins and Other Wealth'. Keep in mind that mundane items like your signal arrows can be acquired for free.
  5. You do not seem to have a Druid at-will chosen.
  6. Your Songbow calculation seems to only apply to an RBA made with it, so please mark it as an RBA.
  7. Please make your second entry in your Attack/Damage Workspace an implement attack.
  8. (optional) Your AC is extremely low for your level, and being in light armor with no Dexterity or Intelligence means that it will scale to be worse as you level without any change.
  9. (optional) I will give the standard warning for Wall-of-Fur type builds. Please be prepared to take your turn efficiently, as having many tokens on the board can bog things down if you do not.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

1. Added it to race line
2. Removed from class features section
3. The totem and spiked shield are used together, while bow is used on its own. Both are a placeholder until 6th level when I can multiclass into bard and make the songbow my weaplment. In the rare case of a melee opp from Ursae, Fix #5 resolves that issue.
4. I'm leaving the cost of the spiked shield in play for purchased vs mundane freebies because its going to be a story element
5. Resolved this and #7 together. Selected Savage Rend which is a MBA.
6. Updated name in the attack and damage area.
7. Used the At-will from 5 to resolve as a MBA, which uses said implement.
8. Ursae's not a front-liner though and has that wall of fur to block most melee. If he can survive to paragon it wont be an issue anymore. I appreciate the warning though.
9. Won't be an issue- I've taken steps to ensure the smooth functioning of the family.

Alright boys and girls. Sorry that took me so long to get to- I've been rather indecisive lately and couldnt make up my mind on a character.

Hope you enjoy the read ;)

  1. Check.
  2. Check.
  3. I'm unsure how you intend to do that since you don't seem to have a way to easily swap items. I guess you could drop the bow and draw them as minors or vice versa? Furthermore, you do not benefit from the spiked shield as you do not have proficiency in it.
  4. I suppose you are welcome to start with 10 less gold if you wish, but for the record it being a story element does not preclude you from applying that rule.
  5. You cannot make use of Savage Rend as you do not have a beast form.
  6. Check.
  7. Check I guess, as it is a correct calculation for an implement attack, but see point 5.
  8. Check.
  9. Check.

Hello.

  1. As your light shield is mundane, you may refund its cost.
  2. Please mark your first Attack/Damage Workspace as 'Melee' (as it seems to account for your Iron Armbands) and write a second one for Staggering Spin, as that has a different damage calculation.
  3. I would ask for a non-zero amount of background and personality.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. Using phrasing like "Fixed" or "Done" is not recommended as it still forces a DM to search through your sheet to see what was changed.

1. Refunded cost of light shield.

2. Made a non-melee quick lookup. (Although I never use these)

3. Added background and personality

Looks good now.

  1. Unlike in 5e, you cannot put both of your stat boosts in the same stat, which you seem to have done at Level 4.
  2. Please place all of your class features in 'Class / Path / Destiny Features', such as Berserker Fury, Defender Aura, etc.
  3. Your HP appears slightly high, even accounting for point 1 affecting it. Keep in mind that you do not gain 'HP Per Level Gained' from Level 1.
  4. Please include the +1 to Fort and Will from your Frozen Land Heartland as part of your Class bonus to defenses. In addition, please place your resist 5 cold gained from this under 'Conditional Modifiers, Resistances & Action Points Note'.
  5. In your MBA workspace, you appear to be accounting for Bracers of Mighty Striking as part of your enhancement bonus to damage. Please instead place this in one of the misc boxes.
  6. Please include the bonuses to initiative from your Battle Harness and Sentinel Marshal Honor Blade as a Misc bonus to your initiative.
  7. Hide armor does not give a +2 Armor Bonus, and your Armor Penalty should not be blank.
  8. As your Adventurer's Kit is mundane, its cost is waived.
  9. Your calculation breakdown seems like it should say 520 where it says 540.
  10. (optional) You do not seem to have a theme.

Please take your time to review the above. When you are ready, please use the Quote function to include this message in your response. Let us know what, if anything, you changed about the sheet. 1. I changed the stat boosts so its +1 Str and +1 Dex instead of the earlier +2 Str

2. I moved the class features and added 1 that i had forgot earlier

3. I recalculated the HP, so i hope its correct this time

4. I added the frozen land bonuses to my Fort and Will and put cold resistance into my conditional modifiers

5. I moved the bracers bonus over to misc

6. I added the bonus initiative from the battle harness and the marshal blade

7. I had accidentally written the battle harness as hide armor when it was meant to be leather armor

8. I have refunded the costs from the adventurers kit and added back the gold

9. I am not all too sure on the calculations, and would like some pointers on what is wrong with it

10. I didnt see any place to put the theme, but the role i want to fill is a guardian role, a sentient punching bag if you will

if theres anything else i need to check over please let me know
